There as been an overhall in popularities as i reduced the NWA & WWF popularities therefor all there workers had to be redone aswell.

Looking at the pics, and this is nitpicking, but Warrior's bio has a grammar error: the comma after crowd should be a period.

i have had a thread on this mod for over 6months now asking for help but nowbody helped with the rosters

All i can say Rocksta is i took alot of time and effort into this mod if you dont like what i have done with it and have no useful suggestions dont play it

I really like how you've done the biography here. I think that it would make for great consistency to include bios like this for every worker. I'm sure you'd be able to find all the details within obsessed with wrestling.

Also the addition of NJPW would make a big difference.

Yeah, you need NJPW if your going to do Japan at all Gaz. If your a US only fan, think of it as leaving out the WWF or WCW on the US scene. Can't do it.

I think he's signed the Nasty Boy's in his WWF game as they are not in beta WWF or todays full release from the start.

Couple of things:

I like the year choice personally. The opportunity to work the Zeus angle is a plus - even though he sucked.

I noticed that the Sex Appeal ratings have not been adjusted properly (I'm assuming that this database was based on a TEW 2007 database?)

Some examples: Capt. Lou Albano, Kamala, King Kong Bundy all have over B+ Sex Appeal ratings. There are plenty more glaring examples in there.

go to the database option. then click on create database. name it 1989. then extract the data to the folder called 1989 in the data folder in the GDS/TEW2008 folder.

I was going to mention samoan savage myself, not big for singles but it'd be nice to see the complete SST in. Also what about Jushin Thunder Lyger? He wrestled a couple memorable (at least to me) matches against "Flyin" Brian Pillman. The Wild Eyed Southern boys are missing at least i didn't see them. Over all good so far. My only complaint is That the demand for angles with NWA seems a little high for the time frame. This about the time they still were putting on, I guess according to todays standard would be called "epic" matches, rather than the drama filled shows today. I can't wait till i get more into the game and see how things develop.

I know he was in Mexico by 1989 and living there, and he didnt rejoin the WWF until he came back to the states, early 90's ish, but I guess your only a year off on him so its no big deal.

i simed through to mid 1992 to see how the mod played out and the wwf dropped to cult in early 92 only to rise back to global around 4months later also the NWA rose to global in mid 91, AWA is now global also after a rough start they battled through and have made it big time.

Other notable things: Mick Foley signed for the wwf but recently returned to the NWA, The Ultimate Warrior signed for the NWA after Summerslam 91, Ric Flair won wrestler of the year for 89 and 90 but Bob Backlund won the award at the end of 1991

also if anybody has any graphics such as tv shows and tv networks feel free to post them here and i will credit you for your work

I downloaded this mod fearing the worse... But I've actually enjoyed the time I've played it. My only complaint is that almost every venue in a certain game area has the same fan types and are almost all wrestling hotbeds. I think that this needs to be revised, as it kind of takes some fun out of booking, since I can pretty much book any arena.

Other than that, it's pretty solid.

Ya I know that, but I think Adam was saying that mod makers were misinterpreting what the "Looks" stat meant, which was the main reason for the name change in the first place.

Mod Makers were defining "Looks" as something along the lines of "looking intimidating" or "looking impressive for a wrestler". He changed the "Looks" stat to "Sex Appeal" because of this misinterpretation, at least that's what I heard.

So often times, mod makers were making Andre the Giant with "A" Looks, when he clearly is not at that level from an attractive standpoint. A lot of other massive (huge) wrestlers were given high "Looks" stats as a result.

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that wrestlers who look "impressive or intimidating" should have high "menace" rating. So mod makers were getting the two mixed up.

Perhaps somebody else can chime in and clear this up

I just don't want to change their Sex Appeal stats manually and then find out later that they can't have certain gimmicks (that would be appropriate for them) because I lowered this stat. Also, I'm not sure of what other effects it may have.

enjoying it so far, i simmed all the way to 1998, and let me tell you, some things have suprised me, some haven't. Like ECW was open only five months before closing, WCW/NWA becoming huge, and making their own stars, really Dan Spivey is a beast, and the WWF relying on Savage, Warrior, and Hogan, Rude, Henning until WWF fell to cult a month before their contracts were up and they all left for the GLOBAL AWA cept for Rude who went to the NWA.

HBK the most over wrestler in the whole world though for the WWF, Bret Hart second most, Hogan third

Rock beating Bret Hart for the WWF Title, man, and a Kane and Goldust tag team named "Freaks"

good stuff so far, i plan on editing Stunning Steve Austin to elave the WCW/NWA soon so he can join the WWF hopefully, oh and the UNDERTAKER never happend

I just got this game last week and this mod caught my eye since i started watching wrestling in the summer of 1989.

I'm having a lot of trouble booking 5 hours of TV for the WWF without jobbers. WWF Superstars and Wrestling Challenge were made up of squash matches, interviews, promos, hype and maybe one feature match while Prime Time had mostly feature matches, a few interviews and a squash or two. It's definately taking some getting used to, especially since the game doesn't appreciate when I book the same match over.

Any tips on this mod for a rookie?

I use my b shows 4 booking my midcarder and uppermidcarder against the lower midcarder and jobbers and keep my maineventers happy by running them in angles! I use my a shows for booking my maineventers that arent involved in storylines against midcarders and 2 run my storlylines
