This Mod is the old T-Zone 2007 data converted to 2008 by xpostxscript and myself. But unlike the other mods this has been edited quite a lot to bring it up to date and to work with TEW2008. Every Region in the game now has arenas thanks to people helping out in the area’s or Hawaii and Australia. Also all European regions are now properly set to there correct areas. Other updates are seen below

This is a BETA 1.0 version, which may have outdated rosters for the smaller promotions so please report to us with updates so that we can update these issues for the next Release.

We will aim to release a Beta 1.0.1 version in 1-week time with all the info and problems you have reported fixed.

Worked for me. The only problem I am having is getting the pictures assigned to the workers, do I have to do this manually? I created the databases own pic folder and put the KyKy ones in there but they didnt assign

The program I was using could not ectract .ace files. I got one that does and everything works fine.

Bios aren't up to date. You might want to at least update WWE, TNA, and ROH, in that order, to start with. Nothing major, just their current place (where you have them for exmaple), and name of their character would be nice.

I agree, not to get any hype going but I am (slowly) working on my own mod from scratch and most of the bios I get from wikipedia and then add from my own knowledge. I really want to download this mod and play but I think I will wait for the update to come out. Great job from what Ive seen though!

Although she lived here from a young age, Katie Lea isn't English either, she was actually born in Germany. Just before you edit her. :)

The other thing I notriced is that Chavo and Rey always seem to be down as Mexican. Wasn't Rey born in San Diego and Chavo born in Texas? I think they should be Hispanic - American.

Is anyone else having trouble assigning pictures to the workers for this mod? I've downloaded all the worker pics posted in this thread, but very few of them actually assign themselves. It'd be somewhat tedious to have to locate worker pics for everyone of them myself.

I haven't tried the data or anything but I wonder if you created sub-folders and all that for pictures and now they need to be re-created for everyone else. Taking a blind stab here. :cool:

Select the database you want to use and go into Editor > Edit Database > Database Info, then select the picture folder you want to use where it says "Picture Folder".

I get a run time error every time i try to customize someones contract picture through the edit database section.

I don't know if this is stuff that can be fixed but other than that this kicks ass. Awesome to see an up to date mod finally :D

Well, to say something other than 'I can't get any pictures to work' I'd like to thank Togg for doing this mod. I'm normally a C-Verse guy, but ever since the draft I've had this itch for some Real World action, so I'm super glad to be able to download this.

There are mistakes in the data and biographies, but I'm sure they'll be fixed eventually. My only real problems with it, are those I always have with T-Zone. As someone who plays real world mods purely to fantasy book WWE, TNA or another of the big companies, I just find there's too much 'unneccesary' (subjective term) information clogging things up. Workers I'll never comes across. Promotions I'll never have challenging me. Ring Announcers I don't need. Linda McMahon (she's a hassle that one) I play on a PC partition on my beloved ultra-powerful iMac, and if I have anything else running at the same time, which I always do, it has a tendency to freeze up when going from day to day.

I can't be too hard on it, because I know a lot of people like super-detailed, super-packed mods. This is their cup of tea, not mine. I'll wait for a nice C-Verse sized, function-over-size Real World Mod, but for now, this is filling the void nicely.

Thumbs.db is a Windows system file that stores info on file thumbnails when you choose that view in Windows Explorer, it's nothing to do with the database or TEW.

Same problem as Tuckerman except it seems to mainly be TNA and WWE that have no pictures assigned. It's recognising the folder because a few of the indy workers actually have pictures assigned. If it's a case that none of the pictures have been assigned to these workers then I will do it myself.

I am having the same problem, and it is very odd. I don't understand why these real world mod makers just dont include pic packs that they know are going to work. This is directed at this mod neccesarily but it seems most mods are like this.

Quite a few times, especially with mods like "T-Zone", there were already pic pac's released for them in earlier times. Mods that have a history mainly.

However, other's have upgraded pic's for worker's, and although they are essentially the "Same" person, the picture itself is not named the same. For example, "T-Zone" quite a few times, use's the "Real" name of the wrestler, where other mods may use their most famous name for the picture. Sometimes it's just what they think is the real name as well...

Another thing that seems to happen with this current TEW '08, is after you have converted the data, the pic folder for it has nothing in it till you put them in there. This isn't automatically read right after you put them in there. Seems to catch it after starting a game, or rebooting the computer though.

You have to make sure you assign the right pic folder to it as well. You can put all your pics in one folder actually, and assign all the mods to that folder if you want.

I haven't tried this yet, but I think if you go ahead and make the picture folder, with the people in it already, before converting the data, you might be able to see the pic's right away. I haven't thought of testing this before converting yet though, so I don't know if it works.

I think you need to fully describe this problem for anyone to understand it. Include if all or none show, where the pictures are located, have any names been changed, ect... Every time you post its just "pics don't work was it X?"

I'm figuring the reason that the reason pictures aren't automatically linking to workers, is that either the mod-maker hasn't done it, or he's linked them with odd filenames that most pic-packs don't follow. For example, Triple H could be linked to 'Paul Levesque.jpg' or 'PaulMichaelLevesque.jpg' or 'TripleH-b.jpg'. For me at least, certain pictures do work. Brian Armstrong works. I highly doubt it's a patch or version error, rather than a 'problem' with the mod.

When you open a profile hover over where the pic should be and what file name shows up? INVALID.jpg or an actual name like HHH.jpg or Cena.jpg ect... Could also be a case of pics not assigned to contracts in the main editor do all of the pics show up?

Added: Also did you add the pictures after starting a saved game, or are we talking that they don't show up in the editor?

ACE can be opened using the program Winrar (google it). It is a type of zip file (like a .zip or .rar)

I don't think they got around to assigning the pics. No one has answered the question really of why the pics aren't assigned, but I guess it was more of a neccessity to get the data out and playable before assigning the pics. Thats all I can think.

What's the default area? I was under the impression so long as the pictures were named correctly, you could put them in whatever folder you liked so long as you linked to that folder through the editor.

Yeah, I tried lowering it to 19% and it worked for ECW but my Raw sucked. In the end I changed the ECW brand focus to match Raw or Smackdown. Can't remember which.

Make sure you put the picture pack into the picture folder then go to people folder and paste it there. Hopefully you dont gotta do any more work to assign the pictures
