Now, if I were available when you guys were starting the thought process against me, I could have warned you that investigating me the night I jail someone isn't exactly effective.

I am Benjamin Linus, Convention Aligned Others Trapper/Henry Gale Trickster.

I can place people in a makeshift prison, but should I place a townie into said prison, I will come up guilty upon investigation. That's what was hidden from you. It's why I resisted using my role until Night 3, and I only did it to protect Jackal, which it didn't even do! :-( I only used it night 5 because I said I would, in an effort to hunt down Sylar.

I feel I have been more than forthcoming and accomidating in my performance. If I die because of my role, so be it. Crychon, just learn from this as a game mod. Do you think with difficult roles like Danny the Dog, he'd create a role so broken that someone could do two things a night?!

If you're gonna lynch me because you have no other leads from your list, I can't stop you. But I did what I said I would. And I'll have done everything I could have to help us all survive.

I'm about to go to sleep myself. If you've got any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them in the afternoon(which is my "morning", being pacific time and a worker on night shifts).

And, to tell the truth, the first thing I thought of when I read this... was Cloverfield. But I think that's a little over the top that Scully was attacked by something like that and wasn't bleeding profusely. ;)

Anyway, I'm debating on whether or not we should push the lynch on ford. I'm going to guess that the hit on Scully was done during night phase and just had a while to take effect.

An interesting phase to say the least, especially with what happened to Praguepride. Thoughts:

- There was no Mafia kill during the nightphase.

- I can't see Benjamin Linus being Convention Aligned. I find it hard to believe that Crychon would choose him in the role that Ford claims, unless of course Crychon chose that character just to mess with us. John Locke would be much more fitting for a Convention Aligned character that may possibly turn up scum if investigated when he imprisoned a townie.

If the observation from night 1 is accurate, then it's ford. If he's stealing people's abilities, he very well could be using them. It could be that he can use one stolen ability a night and his kill.

Too many things don't add up...the character seems more scum than town, the ability seems too similar to another role in the game, the "list", the claim about wrong investigations depending on actions...

Well, personally? I'd look to d_w_w. He replaced a role, which means it was most likely a necessary role for the game to function. He outted PraguePride, forcing him to show his hand. He claimed to investigate me but could have been piggy backing off of Slim Jim's Dwight investigation.

d_w_w was also one of the first to bring up the notion that Sylar could use two powers a night. Is it true? Did he mention it because he knows he can and wishes to throw people off? If Sylar CAN use two powers, why exactly should it be me? I've only displayed the power to jail. There's been nothing else out of the ordinary, nothing that no one hasn't claimed happening during the write ups...

If it seems odd to have two jailers, how do we have so many investigators?

I would also look to Trypio and Bluestar, because while they have people vouching for them, they could be doing so incorrectly, due to some auxillary game condition. Just as I was turned guilty when I used my power, perhaps their power switches their alignment, or clouds an investigators judgement without them realizing.

To be honest, I'm kind of stumped. I'd say our plan weeded out a lot of the question marks. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a lynch on Wallbanger, Cyberkitten, foolinc, and DEFINITELY not Taker. I'd also say the same for Phoenix.

So, I'd look to those three myself. As I trust Prague's list wholeheartedly.

INT. HOLLYWOOD HOTEL, LOBBY – DAY SIX


After the mysterious death of Scully, the crowd decided they were going to stick to the same target they were on before. They pressured him, and finally, he decided to speak.

“I’m Benjamin Linus/Henry Gale!”
The crowd paused, and huddled for a moment, they came to a consensus, and went back to him

“No you’re not!”

“Oh, but I am!”

“Well, we don’t believe you!”

The crowd got as many as they thought they needed, and they surrounded the man. The man smiled an evil smile.

“Never give up, never surrender!”

And with a small movement of his hand, several of the people who were coming after him were pushed back.

“It’s going to take a little bit more than that to get rid of me!”

The crowd looked confused, and even a bit frightened. Except for one. She quietly and slowly moved into place, without him noticing. She kept her eyes only on his, watching, waiting… When she felt the time was right, she stepped forward, quickly plunging her katana into his stomach. He looked down, slightly shocked, and then laughed.

“That all you got?”

She twisted the blade. He let out a gasp, and took a little while to compose himself, and then gave a strained smile.

“Face it, you can’t kill me! I’m far too powerful!”

And with that, she shrugged. The crowd watched in horror as she quickly moved the blade from his stomach out through the top of his head. ford's blood splattered everywhere.

Though shaken by the method it happened, the crowd was very happy with the results.

One thing I forgot to raise.. Who was the girl with the sword who cleaved Sylar from crotch to gizzard? I don't think there's been mention of her in the previous writeups unless it was Leeloo, but where would she get a katana?

INT. HOLLYWOOD HOTEL, BAR – NIGHT SIX


The people at the convention were exceptionally happy about most of the events that transpired that day, and the bar was actually pretty crowded tonight, people were enjoying drinks, and having a good time, for some, it’d continue, not so much for some of the others.

One man was sitting there, enjoying his signature drink, and enjoying the night, when he saw him walk in… The same guy from last night, and he was looking right at him again, and moving quickly. He immediately went from looking laid back and happy to flustered.

FRUSTRATED MAN
“Come on, man! Don’t…”

Before he could finish his sentence, he was hit with a head butt. The man then once again beat him into unconsciousness, and briskly walks out. A happy guy looks down at the unconscious man..

HAPPY GUY
“Well, how about that!”

He went to take another sip of his orange juice with alfalfa when he too was hit with a punch in the face.

HAPPY GUY
“Whoa, whoa whoa, hold the phone!”

The man who punched him smiled, and punched him again, and paused waiting for retaliation, he paused, realized none was coming, looked disappointed and walked out. The bruised, but still happy man got up.

HAPPY GUY
“Man, somebody throw me a beach towel, because my head is swimming!”

Other people in the room were getting their work done, closely examining the activities of other occupants in the bar.

However, let’s get back to that happy guy.

He returned to his drink, and was starting to laugh off what had just happened, when another, older gentleman walked up to him.

OLDER GENTLEMAN
“Excuse me… You the rhino?”

The happy man looked confused, but still smiled.

HAPPY GUY
“Yeah, I am!”

OLDER GENTLEMAN
“Oh good… Just wanted to let you know before I did this… I hated your bloody concert!”

He then quickly fired three shots into Undertaker666’s head, and walked out before anyone could really figure out what had happened, or who did it.

I feel good about Cyberkitten and Bluestar atm, as I think I know both characters and they both seem like likely townies.

Also, I investigated Destiny last night (mostly via random selection). I had thought about holding these results in a bit longer, but I'm paranoid that the fruit was poisoned.

My results suggest that Destiny really doesn't have much going on, I couldn't get a feel for any abilities. In fact, it might be the case that he doesn't have any abilities.

Honestly, I'm not sure what that says about him.

Well, I've played with The Rock 13 on a different site and his playing style in this game is almost a carbon copy of a game where he was an indy killer turned scum group hitman... so I'd be willing to push him for information since I'm fairly confident that he's scum of some description.
