I just don't understand (third game in) why people say that, like if the lynch is done it is done. As a townie, if I'm here to vote for scum huzzah, but if I'm not as long as the scum still dies it's all good with me.

New development in the game I was day killed in earlier - the day phase continued and someone's revealed that glotnot accidentally sent them a link inviting them to the mafia forum :D

It's a comedy of errors...I got sent 2 role PMs and they said "don't worry *username* is on your side anyway" then that person claimed that they were someone else. Then we've got within the first five posts someone claims they are an indie who cannot win and will die night one no matter what, and someone countering that by claiming the same character and saying that if they are targeted for any reason at night, they die. Then a psychiatrist who says he can fix both. ****ing hilarious :cool:

INT. HOLLYWOOD HOTEL, BAR – NIGHT TWO


The middle aged man was done with his drinking, but the bar still seemed to be the best place to be tonight, it was sparsely populated… In fact, he was the only man in there tonight. Well, he was the only man in there. A young man walks up to him.

YOUNG MAN
“Hi”

The middle aged man looked up from his dish of peanuts.

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Oh, hey there. Always willing to talk to a fan, how are you? You here for an autograph?”

The young man smiles.

YOUNG MAN
“Not exactly… A handshake would suffice.”

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Well then...”

The middle aged man extents his hand. The young man shakes his hand, and closes his eyes, they glow for a moment when they open. The middle aged man looks confused.

YOUNG MAN
“Thanks! Nice to meet you!”

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Yeah, nice to meet you to.”

With a nod, the young man leaves the bar. A man who was sitting in the corner previously unnoticed follows him out.

Just then, another man comes in, and sits down next to the middle aged man. The middle aged man smiles talks before looking at him.

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Man, this whole experience has been crazy, hasn’t it?”

He turns around to see a gun pointed in his face. He puts his hands up.

MAN WITH A GUN
“Yeah, sure has.”

The man with the gun shoots the middle aged man in the chest. He falls to one knee, feels his wound, and then he looks at him with a fire in his eyes.

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Ugh, it’s going to take a bit more than that!”

MAN WITH A GUN
“Fine.”

Another shot to the chest. The man once again staggers, and falls to a knee. He once again looks up with a fire in his eyes.

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Never give up, never surrender!”

The man with the gun sighs, and shoots Midnightnick in the head. This time, he stays down.

INT. HOLLYWOOD HOTEL, HOTEL ROOM – NIGHT TWO


This guy wasn’t used to all of this bloodshed. He really hoped it would all end soon, for now, it was time to settle down, and get some much needed rest, he shut his eyes, and fell sound asleep.

The man snuck in, he really was as agile as a cat. He needed to make sure none of the bad guys saw him, you know. He always had to make sure he landed on all fours.

Another unconscious target! What luck! Another life to save!

HEROIC MAN
“Don’t worry folks, let me take care of this, I’m a professional!”

The man stood over his unconscious target.

HEROIC MAN
“It’s a shame he had to go and die. You, good sir had a nice set of abs!”

He pokes the man in the stomach.

HEROIC MAN
“Well, time to work my magic… again!”

He just positioned his hands correctly, when… Damn it, a knock at the door!

The heroic man sighs and stops his work and answers the door. There is a woman standing there. She looks confused when he answers the door. She looks past him, and sees the person she expected lying on the bed.

HEROIC MAN
“I was just about to save him before you ever so rudely interrupted, this man appears to be dead.”

She looks confused for a moment, and walks over to the man in the bed, and pokes him. No response. She pokes him harder. He wakes up and is startled to find two people standing there. The heroic man looks on in shock.

They other two look a bit confused, when… Another knock? The woman goes to answer the door, and there’s a man in a waiter’s outfit with a blatantly fake mustache.

He wheels in the cart, and stares at one person in the room, he pulls out his note pad, scribbles something, and leaves.

“Man, somebody throw me a beach towel, because my head is swimming!”

The man outside of the room stood there for a while longer, but got bored, and wandered off eventually.



INT. HOLLYWOOD HOTEL, HALLWAY – NIGHT TWO


The good looking man came to the end of the hallway and there was a fork… Right or left? He started to the left, and quickly turned right. Good choice! There he is! He walked up to the man, who just seemed to be sitting there anyway.

GOOD LOOKING MAN
“Excuse me sir.”

“Yes?”

Then the good looking man gave a look the likes of which the sitting man had never seen in his life! He stood there with his jaw open, and then, started to say something, and just decided to walk away. The good looking man smiled, that is, he did until… BAM! A punch to the face out of nowhere!

GOOD LOOKING MAN
“Ow! That really hurt!”

The man who punched him draws his fist back again, and the good looking man cowers.

PUNCHING MAN
“Ok, this is a waste of time…”

The punching man just walks off.

“That wasn’t very nice of you!”

The good looking man starts to turn to go back the way he came, and he bumps into a very intimidating man.

The good looking man backs off, and looks down.

The good looking man looks confused and looks back at him.

The intimidating man flips a coin into the air. He catches it, and places it on his hand, and covers it with the other one.

The intimidating man removes his hand, to reveal the coin landed on heads.

He then pulls a silenced shot gun off of his back, and before treton can react, he takes a shotgun blast to the chest, and falls lifeless to the ground.

The intimidating man looks at the lifeless body of the man for a moment, and starts to walk away, when suddenly, the shot gun leaves his hand and flies across the room.

He looks confused at his hand for a moment, and suddenly, he’s thrown against the wall…

The man who threw him against the wall grins and steps into the light, he’s holding his hand up, and though the intimidating man is struggling to come loose, he quickly realizes he’s not coming free.

INTIMIDATING MAN
“What do you want?”

EVIL MAN
“I want to hear you scream…”

The two men stare at each other for a moment, and eventually, the intimidating man sighs.

“Well, that’s too bad…”

They stare at each other for a moment again, and the evil man raises his hand. Comradebot looks blankly ahead without making a sound as the top of his head is removed.

The evil man examines the remains, and walks off looking somewhat disappointed.

New development in the game I was day killed in earlier - the day phase continued and someone's revealed that glotnot accidentally sent them a link inviting them to the mafia forum :D

It's a comedy of errors...I got sent 2 role PMs and they said "don't worry *username* is on your side anyway" then that person claimed that they were someone else. Then we've got within the first five posts someone claims they are an indie who cannot win and will die night one no matter what, and someone countering that by claiming the same character and saying that if they are targeted for any reason at night, they die. Then a psychiatrist who says he can fix both. ****ing hilarious :cool:

I would like to voice a theory that isn't quite relevant, but the implications may be:

As was said, I think Zoolander thought he was town. It makes sense.

If not, then I'm sure we don't have a veteran run mafia or at least a well organized one.

Rev was a vet, but if he was alive, I doubt he'd allow such a silly move.

Basically, we may want to look at the new guys before the vets if we don't have anything concrete to work with.

Dwight owns a honorary deputy sheriff badge (you know the ones that have little to know meaning) that he thinks gives him authority.

With a nod, the young man leaves the bar. A man who was sitting in the corner previously unnoticed follows him out.

Err... maybe the young guy can absorb the power of the other through the handshake? Or it's a special investigation technique? I really have no idea, and it doesn't help that I don't know the character.

Just then, another man comes in, and sits down next to the middle aged man. The middle aged man smiles talks before looking at him.

“Man, this whole experience has been crazy, hasn’t it?”

He turns around to see a gun pointed in his face. He puts his hands up.

MAN WITH A GUN
“Yeah, sure has.”

The man with the gun shoots the middle aged man in the chest. He falls to one knee, feels his wound, and then he looks at him with a fire in his eyes.

MIDDLE AGED MAN
“Ugh, it’s going to take a bit more than that!”

MAN WITH A GUN
“Fine.”

Another shot to the chest. The man once again staggers, and falls to a knee. He once again looks up with a fire in his eyes.

“Never give up, never surrender!”

The man with the gun sighs, and shoots Midnightnick in the head. This time, he stays down.

I've never heard of Peter Quincy Taggart; what might a "Beloved Commander" get up to when he isn't being Beloved or Commanding? Eh, I guess it doesn't matter all that much now and would be speculation anyway.



This guy wasn’t used to all of this bloodshed. He really hoped it would all end soon, for now, it was time to settle down, and get some much needed rest, he shut his eyes, and fell sound asleep.

The man snuck in, he really was as agile as a cat. He needed to make sure none of the bad guys saw him, you know. He always had to make sure he landed on all fours.

Another unconscious target! What luck! Another life to save!

HEROIC MAN
“Don’t worry folks, let me take care of this, I’m a professional!”

The man stood over his unconscious target.

HEROIC MAN
“It’s a shame he had to go and die. You, good sir had a nice set of abs!”

He pokes the man in the stomach.

“Well, time to work my magic… again!”

He just positioned his hands correctly, when… Damn it, a knock at the door!

The heroic man sighs and stops his work and answers the door. There is a woman standing there. She looks confused when he answers the door. She looks past him, and sees the person she expected lying on the bed.

HEROIC MAN
“I was just about to save him before you ever so rudely interrupted, this man appears to be dead.”

She looks confused for a moment, and walks over to the man in the bed, and pokes him. No response. She pokes him harder. He wakes up and is startled to find two people standing there. The heroic man looks on in shock.

SLEEPING MAN
“Uh, hey guys!”

HEROIC MAN
“You have really got to show me your technique!”

They other two look a bit confused, when… Another knock? The woman goes to answer the door, and there’s a man in a waiter’s outfit with a blatantly fake mustache.

MUSTACHED MAN
“Room service...”

He wheels in the cart, and stares at one person in the room, he pulls out his note pad, scribbles something, and leaves.

SLEEPING MAN
“Man, somebody throw me a beach towel, because my head is swimming!”

The man outside of the room stood there for a while longer, but got bored, and wandered off eventually.

Still not entirely sure what the Heroic Man is actually achieving :p Perhaps when he targets an actual victim he'll step up and save the day.

More of the confused woman from night one, mmhm. Man with dodgy moustache is new, I believe. An investigator it seems to be. Nothing on the sleeping man, doesn't look to be evil, I don't think anyway.




The good looking man came to the end of the hallway and there was a fork… Right or left? He started to the left, and quickly turned right. Good choice! There he is! He walked up to the man, who just seemed to be sitting there anyway.

Then the good looking man gave a look the likes of which the sitting man had never seen in his life! He stood there with his jaw open, and then, started to say something, and just decided to walk away. The good looking man smiled, that is, he did until… BAM! A punch to the face out of nowhere!

“Ow! That really hurt!”

The man who punched him draws his fist back again, and the good looking man cowers.

PUNCHING MAN
“Ok, this is a waste of time…”

The punching man just walks off.

Aaaaalright. Punching Man befuddles me, to be honest. Does he enjoy fighting and what does his fighting actually achieve? This is Man With Paper from Night One, no? Might be easier to figure out what he does when one of his targets survives a night.

He then pulls a silenced shot gun off of his back, and before treton can react, he takes a shotgun blast to the chest, and falls lifeless to the ground.

The intimidating man looks at the lifeless body of the man for a moment, and starts to walk away, when suddenly, the shot gun leaves his hand and flies across the room.

The man who threw him against the wall grins and steps into the light, he’s holding his hand up, and though the intimidating man is struggling to come loose, he quickly realizes he’s not coming free.

“I want to hear you scream…”

The two men stare at each other for a moment, and eventually, the intimidating man sighs.

They stare at each other for a moment again, and the evil man raises his hand. Comradebot looks blankly ahead without making a sound as the top of his head is removed.

The evil man examines the remains, and walks off looking somewhat disappointed.

So Sylar then? I tried asking my brother for some fan insight on Sylar when we were hanging out last night but he went off on a tangent about how great Peter Petrelli is... might just google Sylar if I can be bothered. From the little I saw of Heroes Mafia, I'm guessing he's a tough guy to kill... and he looks to be in it for himself in this game.
