Speaking of VG Mafia, I remember in that game Trypoio accusing me of being scum, because I was outposting everyone but DJ by 2to1 and he figured someone that active either had to be scum or bulletproof, because they had to be fearless.

Of course, they I turned out to be a Don that game.

I've always posted a lot since then, but you are blowing me away this game, and sometimes I am reminded of the Trypio argument from VG... just why is Midnight so fearless this game?

Say the bus driver selects A and B. They get switched. So anyone targeted A will target B and vice versa. Also, A will target whoever B targeted and B whoever A targeted.

Yeah I remember but between that, the PGO related deaths, and DJ snapping, the kill average in that game was really high for the small number of players. Someone, I can't remember who, pointed out it would be almost numerically impossible for the town to win even if it never mislynched (it only mislynched once as I recall.)

Kinda like what I was talking about with banger a couple of days ago. A game this size, 3 kills a night and one lynch a day is within limits. But if its a smaller game like VG, that amount of bloodletting can throw the game off.

Still I give you guys props for playing the second group the right way... never causing suspicion for the town and never making a target of yourselves for the red mafia. (hmm maybe we should look for that in this game as well)

Won and Survived a GDS Mafia Game

Won a Scummie (Including HoF members)

Modded a Game

Played in 8 or more GDS mafia games

That was the committee would be a bit bigger (I don't know how many people would fit into two of those categories, I'd imagine less than 12) and it'd include a bigger variety of people.

I think the structure of game itself was the problem.

Maybe the gadgets were a bit strong, but they'd never get where they wanted without coming out at some point...

I still want to see someone do a warring families game correctly. A few people asked me what I know I did wrong and what I know I did right, but for the most part those people changed their minds, I believe, and went with regular games.

I guess you can run a warring families game and simply not label it that way. If you figure 8 factions or so and more than 4 win conditions, you've got a WF game!

If you get points for each time you satisfy a criterion, I'd have 30 from just winning/modding. Add in a point for ever GDS game there has been and maybe another 15 if I won an award (I don't know... I know my roles have...). and I've got way more than necessary...

But, anyway, the committee should be mostly people who've been here a long time. So, if you weren't here for the last scummies or whatever, then you're too new to know how good people can be/how bad they can be, how good games have gotten, etc.

GOTHAM CITY MAFIA

The city of Gotham was a busy place on this night. Throughout the city, orders were given, and throughout the city, those who were supposed to carry them out prepared, and set upon the night ready to wreak their havoc. They would begin a war tonight, a war with one thing as the prize. Gotham.

He had been an asset to the company. In fact, many felt that without him, the company would fail. He placed the item in the box, and looked at it for a moment, before he handed it over to the delivery man, and sent him on his way with a nod.

He was out and about, looking for someone, when someone bumped into him.

"Hey, watch it!"

He then looked through his possessions, and sighed. Another person then bumped into him.

"Excuse me..."

They walked off, and the man sighed again.

He had chosen his vessel for the evening, a fine specimen it was!

No time to waste, there were people to help!

He had a target, and he was going to do his damndest to find them!

He looked around for hours, and realized his damndest just wasn't good enough.

On the other side of town, another was having a similar problem.

She was walking down the street, looking like she had places to be, when a man approached her.

"Excuse me, miss... A moment?"

The girl tried to get by, but the man flashed his badge at her.

"Could you come with me please?"

She threw up her hands and went quietly.

"Not going to be much help tonight..." He thought to himself.

"What was that, miss?"

The girl looked slightly confused and looked down. "Nothing..."

The cop shrugged. "Ok, then... Off we go!"

She had been biding her time, waiting for the right moment to make her move, and she decided that tonight was the night!

She left her garden, and was on her way to begin her quest to keep people away from her children. She stepped out of the garden, and blackphoenix was quickly decapitated before she could get anywhere.

A figure stood off to the side, trying to get a sense of his target. He closed his eyes, and concentrated for a moment. His eyes then snapped open.

"Not innocent" he uttered.

He quickly returned to the shadows he came from.

She was very upset at the loss of her friend, in cold blood! She wanted some answers, and they better be quick!

The man stood at thebar, polishing some glases, when she walked in. He immediately started filling one of the glasses, and handed it to her.

"Compliments of the house!"

She smiled and politely accepted the drink.

Seconds later, another woman rode a motorcycle up to the bar, and quickly entered the establishment, she looked extremely angry, and went straight up to the woman at the bar.

"Time for you to pay!"

She drew a dagger, and the woman at the bar flinched. The woman with the dagger fell to the ground with an odd look on her face. The bartender stood over her with a broken bottle.

"Not in my bar!"

The frightened woman thanked the bartender, and quickly downed her drink.

His life pretty much revolved around luck. He looked at his coin, and pondered what his next move should be. He tossed it in the air a few times, and caught it in his hand.

"Nah, I think I'll stay in tonight."

He turned around to go back to the sewers, and paused. He threw the coin up, once more, and with one fluid motion, treton's neck was snapped, and his coin was caught.

"What have we got here?"

She took the coin, and looked at it, then placed it in her pocket.

"Looks like your luck runs out tonight!"

The man sat at the headquarters pondering what his next move should be, when he heard a noise.

A smiling man entered the room, and the man in the chair looked confused, but not entirely alarmed.

"Good evening..."

"Evenin'..."

"What brings you here?"

"You look like a man who enjoys a riddle... Care to indulge me?"

The man in the chair smiled.

"Sure, why not?"

The smiling man smiled wider.

"Good. Now, riddle me this: "I'm sometimes white,
Although sometimes I'm black.
I take you there,
But never bring you back.
What am I?"

The man in the chair thought about it for a moment, and the smiling man's smile began to fade. Eventually, the man in the chair decided to give up.

"I don't know, what?"

The smiling man pulled out a gun and quickly placed a shot in machinesxe's head.

"A hearse..." The man smiled once again, and then he felt a stirring in the shadows.

"Who's there?" the man asked, and looked throughout the room, finding no one. He eventually found himself in view of the window, and an arrow quickly broke through the window, and pierced nZane's heart.

The figure finally emerged from the shadows, and moved to the corpse and examined it. He then looked over at the other body, and started to move slowly toward it, when another figure entered the room.

"Hey... Why don't you just chill out?!" He laughed, and pulled the trigger. Within seconds, the ground around the shadowed target was covered in ice. He quickly leapt through the nearby window.

The man poked his head out of the window, and couldn't see where he went. The man sighed.

"How does he do that?"

The man returned to the one who sent him out, the man was pacing around, waiting for any word. He jumped up at glee when he saw him enter.

"Did you do it?!"

The man had a solemn look on his face, and shook his head. The pacing man growled.

"You need to understand something... We are here to have fun. You have failed... Failure is not fun! Now, listen to me, tomorrow night... You're going to do things right... And it's going to be a blast... Got it?!"

The man looked a bit frightened and nodded.

"See?! We're having more fun already!" his maniacal laugh echoed throughout the halls of the dark and horrible place.

Traditionally, the roleblocker is a scum role, but there have been enough examples of non-scum roleblockers in our games that I wouldn't make it an automatic tell.

Yeah but night kills go through first, so Slade would kill his target before being vigged.

Unless maybe we plan on roleblocking slade, then you start getting complicated, like maybe scum roleblock our roleblocker and slade kills someone then gets killed. etc etc etc.
