Gothamites once again gathered to see what they had learned the previous night. As has been the case in Gotham, especially lately, they wasted very little time. They feel the need to get bussiness matters done with fast, and productively, as Gothamites prefer the night.

The word of one everyone trusted was all it took to start it. The word of the accused was all it took to convict him.

"He is a killer"

"I sure am, and I would love to do it again!"

"Wow, no defence? This seems to easy."

"That's right, I did it, and if you don't hurry it up, I will do it again!"

So it began, not one more time did anyone question the reasons someone might admit guilt. The fear of more deaths convinced them to lynch this man, and do it quickly. They quickly wrapped the rope around the famous Archer.

You misunderstand me. I didn't investigate him, nor do I talk to him about the game anywhere but the game thread. I had no idea he was scum. What I mean was, if we didn't have a truce, I would have investigated him on Night 1 and therefore been able to take him down on Day 2. Capiche?

Dr. Darrk was the original leader of the League of Assassins, though he still worked for Ras al Ghul... atleast that's my understanding of it. I still have to think the two groups are connected somehow. Perhaps the Demon's Head people got to throw their orders down to the LoA, while keeping themselves in the shadows?

Thankfully, I'd bet good money Talia was likely the last part of the head... and a couple of nights ago I personally eviscerated Dr. Darrk. I doubt the League is all that close to dead, however. Indeed, with such a large game and so many different scum groups, I wouldn't be shocked if we still had a mass of baddies running around, even with the luck we've had at lynchings. Hopefully now that we found out Taker and Nick were both scum, the remaining protectors will know who to keep an eye on... still, sucks to see BIGJOSH get offed, as he was an ace scum detector.

I want to add. I work till 9PM eastern, and will be home ASAP. This has been the way it's been throughout most of this game. There is just no way to get a write-up done in the morning, so I figure stretching the time, rather then shortening it to say... 6am Eastern (the time it would take to make the write-up and such, before work). That would be reducing the time by three hours, and with our different time frames, it's not fair. So that's why I keep extending the hours of the night phase.

I would like nothing more then to get everyone's PM's in ASAP, and be able to do the write-up today though. This would include people PM'ing me even if they decide not to do anything. I can't just figure that's what your doing.

Crychon has been unbelievably great, with reguards to me just getting home, and the write-up being done in a short matter of time. Without him, most of the time, these night write-ups would have took probably 2 hours at the least, longer. So make sure you get your PM's to Crychon as well. He's been very important during this game. It's frustrating, I'm sure to him, that he may have the whole write-up ready, and find that someone else had sent a PM to me, that he didn't get. His contribution to this game is HUGE, I can't say enough about him, because it would still be NOT enough.

He had prepared the guest room for another night. He sent out the invitation and everything!

Another no show... He sighed, and opened a bottle of wine.

The man was ready for anything, he looked for his target, and there she is! He raised his weapon, and was ready to fire, when suddenly, out of nowhere, a man moving way more agile then he looks, disarmed him. He punched his target a few more times, and the attacker ran way, frightened.

He sat poised, watching his target, waiting for anything that would come his way, prepared for anything... Or so he thought.

One thing he didn't seem to be prepared for was the man who came up behind him and slit his throat. d_w_w fell to the ground, and before long, had bled to death.

A large creature swooped down and carried her off into the night.

He was looking for his target for the night, he was determined to find out what he could about them, he looked around the city for a bit without any luck, when suddenly, his feet began to get a bit cold... before he figured out what was going on, so was the rest of him... She had been following him closely, waiting to offer her aid if he needed it, but she didn't see this coming. She quickly looked around for the attacker, but slipped and fell on the ice.

"Of all the people I had to meet up with..." he thought to himself, looking at the laughing man, who was hysterical now, almost dancing. He sat down, and grabbed the first bottle of alcohol that he could find.

I think you'd be surprised how much of what's supposed to be "abundantly clear" slides by me. And that's not just Mafia, mate. That's life in general. Ok, I'm on and it's day phase. That's a good start, even though I'm on the work CPU and shouldn't dwell for too long. I've managed to read up on today's phase so far but since I've been out of action or missing in action for several nights I'm going to go back and read the days I've skimmed before jumping back in to anything.

Honestly, I'm kinda surprised. It conflicts somewhat with what my PM states. I mean...there are hints, and it seems to make sense that I wouldn't want to go to IER's, but the jailer thing confused me at the time and still does.

To me it seems certain that one of them is the last al Ghul...don't really trust bear's claim right now but I'd like to hear from Rock13 first. Either that or Comrade could deal with one of them at night...depends whether or not they're likely to become a killer (or join another group). Either way, Joker and the Secret Society will be bigger threats at this point.

Ok, it looks like the days I missed were a beloved princess deal and a pretty quick lynch on Moe Hunter. It seems I didn't miss too much, Moe just threw up the white flag. Kind of makes me think he was in a 2-man team with Nick, especially when I try to think of the other scum that might be left.

We should probably have the other Tweedle, and at least 1 more Secret Society member, I would think. Maybe those 3 mini-groups could hook up with the two main groups somehow, as 2 person groupings seem somewhat futile in a 48 person game, except to have a sensible amount of kills to shorten the game. But a the Joker (who I assume would be an Indy), Tweedle, a SS member (or maybe 3?), 2 Gotham Mafia members (One of which is that fiend Mr. Freeze) and the last Al Ghul seems to be all we're looking for now.

Shape seems to have a pretty good clue from the writeup there, If the last Al Ghul is one of those 2 it makes sense to put a bit of pressure on them.

He IS lying about who he is. Personally, I wouldn't mind actually using a day phase to press folks for some info, but if nothing else I can tell you that right now sprinklefur is lying, and given the nature of the lie is most definetly scum.

First, yes, GruntMark did point out the fact that Mr. Freeze has yet to freeze a member of The Society, of which he was a member in the comics (but damn near every villian was, save Catman and the rest of the Secret Six and also The Joker... along with a couple D-Listers). I completely agree that Mr. Freeze is in all likelyhood a member of the Society.

Not only that, but I remember a large amount of suspicion on him back in the first two days... and we ended up getting sidetracked thanks to all the super lynches.
