Also...I dont really believe Bear or James Casey.

And Casey threw out the "Ima a miller" in a quick scummy way.

What can I say? I wiki'd my character when i got the role PM and knew I had pretty much zero chance of surviving. I was scum, I look like scum... DJ even seems to have overegged my role somewhat - or, at least, he misread the wiki page as I got given a role title that's not really correct.

Although we can't necessarily trust the write-ups, there appears to be a clea link between the death of Poison Ivy and a girl going crazy(er). Also, Man-Bat's target last month seemed to be skipping, which is Harley-like behaviour more than most Gothamites...

I don't think so. If, say, you were an investigator, then getting a result for a different player could give it away depending on if their name is in the result ("your target" would lead to some interesting situations, heh). For a role like yours I really doubt it would...it's generally seen as a kinda passive (writeup wise) ability that takes precedence over most others.

For what its worth, I did have you as green because I trusted you, despite it all. I also wasn't voting for Rock 13 and I pointed out that I believed Rock was telling the truth based on Actarus' role. I would look closely at those trying to push him hard, especially the one's who are on the short list of possible scum.

He also made the point I wanted too. I must of missed it. PC geeks don't target people. 1 of 2 things could of happened. Bear targeted the rock 13 and was lying about targeting me. I can't vouch for anyone beyond this, I'm not able to talk to anyone. My PM lead me to believe that if I'd investigated Batgirl I could talk to her, but alas she died pretty early on and I hadn't found her.

There is a type of investigator that finds everyone town. "Rookie", or something. Just like the one who finds everyone scum, they tend to be relatively useless. But since 'Taker likely was a don and all the others have been town, there's really no proof either way.

Sprinkle said he came up scum, right? That would be a way to test it, but then you're not really finding out anything new.

Actually no it wasn't that simple. Persecuted might be a strong word but I was feeling pretty well grilled and cross-examined. Not to mention the defeatism I was feeling. So I had to re-energize somehow if I wasn't going to become a glorified inactive. The double claim was the route that was most appealing. When have I been frozen? And I've been coasting through on a flawed assumptions...I think. Like I said my role isn't particularly clear. The one aspect I've been sure about all along comes into play when I AM targeted, otherwise it makes no sense. I'll try to squeeze some answers out of DJ but it's proved difficult so far.

Gotham was not normal today. Normal Gothamites seem to keep to themselves, but on this day it was different.

Perhaps because so many questions were being answered. Perhaps more information is out there then what was once believed, but on this day Gothamites came together. They talked to each other, and perhaps more important, they listened to each other.

They talked at day break.

"This guy is not right!"

"True, but what about this guy?"

"Yeah, I'm with you there!"

"Guys, Here is something you might like to know"

"Your just now telling us that?"

"At least he told us something!"

They were without a concrete piece of evidence this day. So they thought of some older evidence, and as time went by even more information was learned. The problem with Gothamites, no matter which side of the line they play on, is trust.

Most Gothamites have a small circle of friends, or a partner, or someone to count on. It seldom goes beyond that.

So this day was informative, but most still had their reservations over which ones to believe.

One thing was sure.

"Somebodies going to hang today."

"Your right, that's the Gothamite way!"

"Yes!"

"Lynch him even though I don't really think he's bad!"

"I feel the same!"

"Well, no matter which way he ends up, more information will be learned!"

And so it was. They all gathered and although they talked all morning, and gathered information from each other. They were bloodthirsty, this lot. They don't just want to hang someone, they need to. It's the way of the city. It's the way of Gotham.

In the end someone swang, in the early afternoon.

Seems to me, that the Demons head, and the rest of the mafias forged into Gotham Mafia once they started getting depleted. Tweedledee was Tweedle alligned, but Tweedledum was Gotham Mafia? To me thats the proof of Joker recruiting the survivors of the previous mafias.

Also, I personally don't believe sprinkle is some sorta day bomb... that sounds alot like Crychon's BS claim about how if he, as Han Solo, go lynched in the day he killed the person dropping the hammer. Its a bluff to make people scared for their own lives should they try to kill him. I don't buy it for a second, and I think all three of those folks are scum. I'd say there is far more evidence pointing to both being town than to one assumption based on a write up saying otherwise.

Personally, I would think Rock 13 and Cappy are more likely to be scum, only because Man-Bat fits basically everything we know about Comradebot and I dont see him being with the al Ghuls.

To further, cappy hinted at his role a long time ago, way before the Rock stuff came up. Cappy and trypio were both around BIGJOSH night 3, as he said. When Actarus possessed Rock, the body wasn't what he hoped for and fell to the ground. That sounds like a cripple to me. It makes sense that Cappy's character is in the game based on what we know.

Have you forgotten everything else? The way his claim initially got ripped apart, the role title being so different to everything else of that mould, the way his PC geek info didn't make sense at all and he was seen actively out targeting someone despite what he claimed?

That was the point I was just arriving at.

We know protectors cant protect from Freeze (or...at least Deadman's cant).

Okay. I mentioned I was former scum. Because of that, I can use my contacts to find out information about people. So far, it's been pretty useless - I find out whether some-one is known to be a criminal or not. Given as cyberkitten turned up town on night 2 it seems likely that my results aren't to be trusted. I haven't found anyone who is scum yet - so I don't even know what I find out about them.

I would have spilled the info I had before now, but honestly I've turned up nothing that was relevant. The towniness (or otherwise) of people who haven't been up for lynch, or even under suspicion...? I wanted to stay under the radar as long as possible to protect my own neck, so didn't see the point of sharing and bringing attention on myself.

Precisely what James Casey said. Believe me, I was shocked when I got handed the role of Man-Bat, and saw I was Gotham Aligned. Here it is for the curious, though everyone seems to have it figured out:

My win conditions are apparently no different than any other Gothamite, as I win along with the rest of Gotham when all threats to it have been eliminated, and that's what I've been working hard to do. But, I think many things should help folks see me for the heroic bat that I am.

1. I've worked HARD to kill nothing but scum, go me.
2. I do believe I was investigated and came up town.

And hey, since its possible with so few people left that this might come up soon...

3. My "kill" power isn't quite what it appears to be. Whitey came close with his assumption of it. On the nights when I MUST choose a target, I'm actually attempting to protect someone... only I have a greater chance of losing control and killing them rather than actually protecting them. Well, that's how its suppossed to work in theory. It would seem fate is against me, as I've targetted several people who have come up scum (Undertaker666 and Bear TWICE eluded me), but on the flip side I've also managed to avoid killing some people who turned out good... Example: I didn't believe The Aussie at all when he his ability, so I went after him. Thankfully, he survived and the same night's write-up proved his innocence. Other than that... well, I'll keep my other targets to myself :-)


Oh, and James Casey was possessed on one of the nights Mr. Freeze was out freezing people, correct? Meaning he can't be Freeze.

Either Shape or gonvick is Mr. Freeze.
