NIGHT PHASE 12

GOTHAM CITY MAFIA

Another day, another criminal taken care of. It seemed as though Gotham was becoming a safer place to be day by day. Tonight, once again, the legend emerged, and he was ready to ensure that things became a bit safer.

His guest was right on time.

"I received your message, and came right over!"

"Glad you could come!" The older man said, as he offered him a glass of wine.

"Why thank you good sir" he said, as he drank from the glass. "That's really good, I quite like it!" He said a bit surprised.

"I'm glad you do. It is one of the finest one's kept in the cellar."

"Wow, and I didn't bring you..... much........ besides........" The man started as he swiftly fell asleep.

"Don't worry, you will awaken feeling refreshed and alert" the older man said, as he took hold of the remains of the glass, and took it to the kitchen. A few seconds, there came a knock on the door.

"Mind if I, uh... Question him?" said the man at the door as he noticed the man on the floor.

"Be my guest!" he said, showing him in.

Another watched from the shadows, not learning much, but amused nonetheless.

"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEECH! I will pro... kill... find...you?"

The beast seemed to search everywhere, with no luck in finding their intended target.

The legend loomed high over the streets of Gotham. He had been following a target that was doing nothing particularly interesting on this night, when he saw something out of the corner of his eye.

That green hair! Then he heard it! That laugh!

"Impossible! You're dead!" he muttered aloud.

He swooped down to examine the figure he was so sure had died a few days earlier. His back was to him, and he cautiously walked up to him.

"Quit playing games with me, Joker!" he yelled and turned the figure around.

What he found was certainly not what he expected. This wasn't the Joker at all, just another dummy, a tape player, a note that read "Surprise! You're dead! Ha ha ha!" and a timer that was now at 3.

Not even the legend could react that quickly, and on this very night, just when things seemed to be getting better in Gotham, a major explosion rocked the city, killing Lostrelms in the process.

The legend that had struck fear into the hearts of all of the cities criminals was sadly now just that... A legend.

Well, it was no secret that either Arrows or Antithesis was to be my target last night.

Meaning one of them insured that I wouldn't find either one.

Seems as Arrows obviously didn't block me himself, as he was passed out on the floor... meaning either he really is innocent, or he's in cahoots with someone and they did the blocking.

And another person who is suppossed to be bulletproof bites the dust. Very interesting indeed.

I come up non town now because of my previous affiliation with The Joker, just to answer that question.

I'm telling ya, I...am...A GOOD GUY. I tried to tell you that before the phase ended. I even tried to show you a list of who all was out there.

I do find it interesting you couldn't find me though. Would that mean there are two scum left on that list? Or just that IER protecting me(Thanks for returning the favor), stopped your attack?

I still think Arrows is evil, but he can't be doing all of this on his own. I don't buy the "my previous association" with The Joker BS, not for one second.

But I don't think he's working alone. I think him in Anti are in this together. Maybe just a crazy theory, but its a theory.

Hell, I'd wager money on it. The alignment stuff adds up... there's ZERO chance according to The Rock 13s evidence that Antithesis is Indiviudally Aligned. Lynch him, and odds are after that we can deal with Arrows.

Why didn't The Joker send out Harley? Because:

1. We would know from the writeup likely that Antithesis was lying and he'd get lynched all that faster.
2. He killed THREE people at once, The Shape tried to butcher as many people as he could to get the win! It all makes sense, all of it!

You REALLY don't know how his kill worked?

The person he targeted, and anyone else who targeted that person, DIED. It was a trap set up around THAT person. That's why 2 extra died. Wrong place, wrong time. Area of Effect.

See, this is where your credibility gets stretched. We're at endgame, being coy is only useful if you're trying to plant doubts in someone's mind.

If you think someone's been recruited, say so. If you have data that implicates someone previously cleared, give it. Lay your case out. If you're really on our side we should be able to lay it all on the table.

I think it's time I bought me a good guitar again (speaking of guitars). I haven't done anything in so long with one. Probably my favorite instrument, no matter if I play the keyboards/Piano 20 times better, lol.

Heh. I've started learning the piano in college. I'm currently the top of my little class of about 10 people. In fact, I recieved more than a few ugly looks when I played everything from the first test from memory to perfection despite the fact that memorization was not required. Go me! I'd rather be good at the piano than liked by the emo kid with the Underoath shirt and hair combed over his eye.

Its my bass guitar, though, that I have a natural knack for. My friend noticed I tended to tune my electric guitar to a deep tone and played it, well, like a bass, and he suggested I try one out. I did, and 500 bucks later one was sitting in the backseat of my car. I really, and truly, love that bass, and it really feels natural to play it. But I do love my guitars, don't get me wrong.

The legend loomed high over the streets of Gotham. He had been following a target that was doing nothing particularly interesting on this night, when he saw something out of the corner of his eye.

That green hair! Then he heard it! That laugh!

"Impossible! You're dead!" he muttered aloud.

He swooped down to examine the figure he was so sure had died a few days earlier. His back was to him, and he cautiously walked up to him.

"Quit playing games with me, Joker!" he yelled and turned the figure around.

What he found was certainly not what he expected. This wasn't the Joker at all, just another dummy, a tape player, a note that read "Surprise! You're dead! Ha ha ha!" and a timer that was now at 3.

Not even the legend could react that quickly, and on this very night, just when things seemed to be getting better in Gotham, a major explosion rocked the city, killing Lostrelms in the process.

The legend that had struck fear into the hearts of all of the cities criminals was sadly now just that... A legend.

The crowd gathered once again, and at this point, it seemed as though the pool of suspects was thinning. They decided to go after one who they felt couldn't possibly have Gotham's best intentions in mind.

"I'm pretty sure she's a killer, let's get her!"

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!"

They waited to see if anyone would say anything different, and no one did, so they quickly closed in around her and surrounded her.

When she realized that she had no hope of making it out of this, she broke down and started crying. The crowd backed off a bit, unsure of what to make of this.

"I could really use a hug..." she moped.

The crowd kept their distance from her, confused and cautious.

"No one?" she sobbed some more, and wiped a tear from her eyes. "I just want one last hug..."

She sighed. "Fine, I'll pick!"

She played a quick game of eeny, meeny, miny, moe in her head, and pointed at someone.

"You!" she pointed at the man in blue.

He looked confused and pointed at himself "Me?"

She nodded. "Get over here!"

She rushed up to him, and threw her arms around him, and continued to cry. He was confused, but after a moment, he patted her on the back, and wrapped his arms around her too.

"Thanks... I really needed that." she said, and grasped him tighter. She then let out a devious giggle, put her hand out to the side, and pressed the button. A moment later, everyone in the crowd was covered in what was left of Antithesis and masterded.

In the middle east, there was a small place where four people had took a special bath, in a special pit. To be alive and well again, to start over. This isn't the first time, now will it be the last we here of these folks. However, it's the end of them for this story.

"Umm... I don't think that would be a good idea." Alfred replied.

"Sure it is, your the guy that deserves what I have to offer." Penguin announced. "Tonight I am turning myself in. I know this is not a fight I can win, at any rate. It's only fitting that you get this priviledge. I choose you to turn myself into."

And with that Alfred apprehended the Penguin, making the correct calls to take him to Jail.

I'm not "stopping", just taking some time off really. I just have a lot going on right now with school, The EffVerse, and my record label. School is really kicking my ass this semester (statistics and accounting namely). If I don't get back to playing sooner, you can just about guarantee me in whatever game is going on during fall break (unless it's one I've helped with).

I was so ****ing close to having my fourth survive and win game. Damn mafia bomb. Also I like the way Arrows is an ******* and all, but I swear if this were a face-to-face game I would have punched him right in the nose. Though he did make the game more fun.

I had to spend the last bit in all out scum mode. I already knew what was coming, and had already told DJ that I was going to be handing myself over after the lynch, so we didn't waste time when there's 0 chance.(IER blocks me, lynch next day)

I had a lot of fun this game, and a ton here at the very end.

I don't think I ever had any actual protection despite claiming otherwise, and Batman to our knowledge, wasn't bulletproof though I suspected it might have been an unwritten ability.

I loved how you guys fought tooth and nail in this.

I'll officially say this now. I didn't even want half those guys in this game, but we decided without them it wouldn't be complete, since they are so famous being Gotham villains.

First off... There were three other mafia groups, already together, with abilities to compliment them. Your team started with only one person wishing to form a group... Arrows. And the Team of The Tweedle's that were only able to for sure get anything done if they did it together (Otherwise they had a chance to fail).

I didn't really think your group would have a chance at this game, till after some serious stuff happened. And everytime someone was on to you guys, you all fought in the thread so hard, even getting people to back off a few times.

Just thought you guys played an awesome game.

NOTE: I was completely frantic when I seen Astil wasn't showing up (as he got Joker). I was like... Now, that is not one I wanted to do without.

Some of the stuff you said in the thread made me laugh several times, very hard.

Also... People I thought played their character's to a "T" was Antithesis, Mr T Jobs To Me, and ford, when he was Batgirl. He wasn't allowed to talk, as he started off Mute, with each day being able to make one more sentence then the day (Phase) before. He could only use *Emotes.

BIGJOSH..... NEVER EVER GOING TO LET BIGJOSH BE A THEIF AGAIN IN ANY GAME I MOD!!!!!

For everyone: I felt like everyone was playing great, the Active people especially. I had some comedy there for a while in Cappy, but in the end he started using his "Gut" (that's how he put it, said going with his gut instead of his head), and I'll tell you, Good thing for all the bad guys he didn't start sooner.

Antithesis.... I was really impressed with the way he seemed to "Roleplay" his characters.. .going from the Cold hearted, matter of fact stating Lady Shiva, to the happy go lucky Harleyquinn later when he took over from an inactive.

Lots of things I would like to say about quite a bit of people, but I have to say that I think Masterded and IER really kept the town together to the bitter end, after Josh was laid out. Just about every bad guy that has said anything to me about it, has said how much ier deserved to win this game.

Also... Actarus first game ever!! WOW!! Great game!!

I could go on and on. I probably will, as I was just as excited (PRobably moreso) to be on this side of the game, as anyone could have possibly been playing.

That phase was so frustrating. I knew it had to be Shape but I just couldn't get people to see, my fault entirely as I'm not really the 'leader' type. I hated pulling the dick card and refusing to vote, but I knew the mistake we were making.

OH... Before I forget.

CRYCHON!! HE has been an obsolute for me. When that first night phase come, and we had all these people doing this and that to one another, I was completely overwhelmed... I Mean BIG TIME. Crychon said, "Well, Let's take a look here, OK, 1st this happens, then this, and then we look here and see how that happened there?"

Bassically, took away that feeling of being in over my head, and making it all work. Without him, this game would have sucked I believed. I learned quite a bit during this game, and next time will be better prepared..

I can't tell you guys how many times my PM's hit 95% full... Where to put them!?!??!!

Well, I figured out what to do next time, no problem, but not at first.

Sprinkle and "T" both could have joined up with "Gotham Mafia" at the end, since there organisations had both all but parished (outside of themselves). It had to come down to only one person left (and that couldn't be Ra's or Talia either), in the League or Head.

Storyline wise, after Joker's lynch, The Gotham Mafia should have been rejoicing, as they didn't have to worry about strike 3!

Yeah we weren't sure if Sprink still had allies left or if the sword guy (T)was on his own. The gonvick post where he asks Sprinkle to target masterded or T was try to get
1) scum in a spot for recruitment (the freeze was a recruitment tool.. AHHHH)
2) possibly freeze some townie voters
3) Block sprinkle from killing any of us just in case he had really sold out.

We figured actarus had taken control of him, we just didn't think he'd try to protect Whitey. and thereby get them all killed.

I did take over YIM's role as an individual, and I was honest about the fact that i didn't want anything to do with the Joker. But that night he had me frozen (sorry Whitey.. I was the target) and thereby recruited me. Thats the same night Shape suddenly started blowing people up.

No offense to YIM, but as I've told everyone in this group, had anyone else gotten the Harley role, the game could have went much differently.

Anyway, once Joker was dead I was free to pick my own targets, and I killed Lost. No offense, but I didn't think you deserved to finish the game. It wasn't a personal thing, I just happened to be in a position where I could choose a sacrifice and the IMBATMAN bit sold it for me. Just wanted to say, Arrows every time I play a game with you in it I come away more and more impressed. And Gonvick from AWA, Scrooch Crew and now Gotham Mafia I always thouroughly enjoy teaming with you, its a shame half of everyone that plays does not get a chance to see how good a player you are behind the scenes.

Here's the thing I mentioned but couldn't talk about on the Scum Board.

The night lady Shiva died. She was frozen in a wide blast then killed.

My kill on Rev didn't go through

For example.. Lady Shiva is just a GREAT character to me. I love her. Her and her daughter (Batgirl/ford... who couldn't talk normal in the thread... had to use Emotes, and did it perfectly).

My thing was.. You were getting killed by someone you could whip without a problem at all. Fact is, if it was a comicbook it would be totally unbelievable, and people would write hate mail to the whoever they could about it. I didn't want any "hate mail" Either, so.... We simply had the freeze go through so that it was believable this guy could take you out (while you were helpless).

I don't know if that's a bad thing or not. IT just "FELT RIGHT" to me. You were going to get killed.. And I believe it was Thorne of all people... Just .. Not right for him to be able to take Shiva out without some sort of upper hand.

Guess we could have made an elaborate trap, or something just as easily, but... It just seemed right since people were going to freeze anyways (and you were in the blast for the freeze as well).

Yeah, that worked out better than I thought it would. I assumed I could join with other scum, since my ability works much better as part of a team. So I figured I try targeting someone I thought was scum and see what happened.

It was nice to have a proper scum group, but unfortunate that half of them died right away.

Fairly sure that it works for both. My roleblock doesn't prevent them from targeting someone, just prevents whatever they're trying to do when they get there.

That's how we froze Taker when we sent Rev to kill him and had me freeze Rev.

lprok/ford2.0 and Comrade were immune to something like a "GUN BLAST" as well as most other possible kills.

People they weren't immune to was "Professional" assassins, like Prometheus, Sensei, Ra's al Ghul, if Batgirl were to go South, Terminator, and Shiva.

I promise, next time I MOD something I'm going to be alot more prepared.

People's original Pm's were messed up a bit, etc.

I had all this stuff worked out (and had like 60 roles for it) on my old Hard Drive. I let that other game go before me, and then right before it ended, my Hard Drive turned into a "Raw Format". What that did is make me have to spend like 40 bucks on a program to get some of that stuff off that drive, since I couldn't read it or anything through normal windows.

I was unable to get my original stuff back, so I tried to do it from Memmory. A few of the scum groups had to ask if they could kill or not.. to give an example of how badly some of my mistakes were in the original PM's I gave everyone.

I really meant for "Hush" to be a definate person in this game, with Prometheus. I dont' know how he got left out, and didn't realise it till we already started the game. That was supposed to be the "Anti-Batman" team. There sole purpose was to take out Batman (and thus.. anyone that took up the mantle, to include Nightwing, or Robin).

Green Lantern would have come out if all the Batman possibilities were killed off.

Anti... The Freeze Blocks the person for that night. IF someone gets froze, they don't get their investigation, kill, etc.

Sprinkle was his target, Harley's target was Whitey.

Unfortunately Sprinkle's target ended up being Whitey as well.

Gonvick was targeted by Comrade and wound up "Kill" instead of protecting. Gonvick was not going to kill, he was going to WIDEBLAST Sprinkle, and them being frozen before exploding I don't think is really that big of a deal? Harley (you) would have still blown up Whitey... as your bomb isn't something that can be protected against.

If Freeze would have hit his target, Harley still would have "Blown" things up, as she wouldn't have been froze.

Does this help (right or wrong) you to understand what happened with it?

/nod. The Bullet proof fit you perfectly, or your character I should say. Since most the rings re-act when under attack, even if the person is unconscious (green and yellow) or asleep. Your particular Lantern was not like the other's. You actually got a piece of the Heartstone or whatever it's called (not up in front on me at the moment), and over the years (many of them, actually) your body actually consumed it. So the power is within you.

The Character had an X-Ray that showed nothing but like a green substance, or light, or whatever you want to call it. The fifth element? LOL. Anyways, your appearance is merely your own perception of what you should look like now-a-days.

This Gotham ended with Batman family and villains mainly at the end, but I honestly made this one up to be more of the "Place" of Gotham themed, moreso then BATMAN himself.

One thing that really sucked, is my whole outlook on the write-ups was washed away when everyone guessed exactly who everyone was by where they were from the first write-up. I had originally intended this to be kind of a cross between Cartoon Chaos (Because I actually liked the concept that MJD had for the game), and DOTT (Because I really loved that game).

So area's and places (I even have a map set up on our sight for reference) were going to be a main theme throughout the game, till I realised I would be giving everyone away by just saying things like "Iceburgh Lounge" etc.. Even though Arrows gave himself away pretty early anyways.

SO you were definately right when you kept telling everyone to think outside of Batman and think "Gotham" instead. That was my intention, no matter how the game ended up at the end.

IER was both enjoyable and unbelievably frustrating to play against because it was clear he just wouldn't be convinced. In the crucial day phase at first there was hope when he said he'd change his vote if everyone else did, then he changed his mind and so I just desperately countered everything he said in the hope that one or two others would get on board. Then sprinkle claimed, bah.

Didn't realise Banger's role was actually Green Lantern...he's someone I'd considered claimin after some research. Woulda been similar to the real role (unfindable until I became the hero etc). So glad I didn't go there.

I think Creeper was a solid claim, gonvick's idea naturally heh, though I did come up with the role title as a way of explaining away my own legit and false confusion. However I think had I claimed a straight hider from early on, even though infinity had already been one I think, I would have been much more secure. The problem was my PM explicitly said that when I chose to hide, I would NOT be untargetable. I guess now that DJ meant it as in people could still TRY to target me but that just seemed so obvious...and is why early on I didn't really drop any hints (except a Joker one about being scarred, lol, and I wish I'd gone for more but often chickened out when I thought them up) and when I claimed it was difficult to convince people role-wise.

Or you may "Hide Out". If you decide to hide, you won't be untargetable, but there are other ways to keep yourself safe. These will be obvious in the write-ups.

What I had originally planned on doing is making him do "Joker" type things if someone come after him. Like the extended Punch from accross the street or something, someway to defer the person looking for him.

Before the game actually started though, I had already figured what would the point of that be? It would scream "Hey, although you didn't find me, I'm the Joker. So anything that did that, was left out of the write-ups, essentially, making him a true "hider".

By the time the game started, he was a hider, that could be targeted by his "Friends". These would be Harley and the Tweedle's only. Somehow I missed changing the PM around to clarify this, and didn't realise it till the game was completely underway (and far in). Fact is, I didn't understand his confusion at first, thought he was just using a tactic in the thread to keep people off his back. For some reason I thought I said "you won't be untargetable by everyone" which is what I had intended it to say.

As I said, there was confusion in a few people's Role PMs, and I'm to blame for that.

Oddly enough? We were supposed to have targetted Taker for a kill TWICE before his group merged with outs (well really just him since Damien died and Ra's was off to the gallows anyway).

First time we'd agreed on Taker, but apparently J told Mr T that I'd sent in against WB and T said "sure why not". The next night it just didn't happen. Taker went to protect MNN and our groups merged.

I had so many wasted kills this game. I'm sure I've killed more townies in games when I was a townie myself!

That's what would have happened by the third night of Man-Bats death. Or... SOmething similar, lol.

Hey, thanks! I think playing with you gave me an ulcer, lol. (and that was totally meant as a compliment). For me personally, you're one of the most difficult people to read / figure out. I also think this is what makes you so dangerous in these here mafia games.

Yeah we weren't sure if Sprink still had allies left or if the sword guy (T)was on his own. The gonvick post where he asks Sprinkle to target masterded or T was try to get
1) scum in a spot for recruitment (the freeze was a recruitment tool.. AHHHH)
2) possibly freeze some townie voters
3) Block sprinkle from killing any of us just in case he had really sold out.

We figured actarus had taken control of him, we just didn't think he'd try to protect Whitey. and thereby get them all killed.

So THAT'S what happened! Wow...would you guys believe me if I said I almost forgot to send in a PM. Busy with real life stuff when I realized I forgot, and with ~ 10 minutes left before night phase ended, I made a choice to target sprinkle for pretty much the same reasons you did. As for protecting Whitey, I saw his investigation abilities as invaluable at this point. Getting him killed was a REALLY tough pill for me to swallow. I'm talking horse pill here. Whitey, before I forget, I am so sorry I got you (Montoya / The Question) killed.

I think Creeper was a solid claim, gonvick's idea naturally heh, though I did come up with the role title as a way of explaining away my own legit and false confusion. However I think had I claimed a straight hider from early on, even though infinity had already been one I think, I would have been much more secure. The problem was my PM explicitly said that when I chose to hide, I would NOT be untargetable. I guess now that DJ meant it as in people could still TRY to target me but that just seemed so obvious...and is why early on I didn't really drop any hints (except a Joker one about being scarred, lol, and I wish I'd gone for more but often chickened out when I thought them up) and when I claimed it was difficult to convince people role-wise.

You my friend did a really good job creating conflict over voting for you or sprinkle. It was tough, and I wonder how that would have gone down if sprinkle had not come clean the way he had. It was more then coming clean; the details he shared when I questioned him all fit with everything I knew and things just made more sense. But prior to that, both your claims were shoddy, so it came down to who seemed to be the bigger threat.

Creeper was fairly credible. This didn't occur to me until I left the game, but he really isn't all that relevant in modern DC comic continuity. Even Bat-Mite has greater relevance (blame Jeph Loeb), believe it or not. If I had thought of that earlier, I might have raised that point as well.

You know... One of the funniest moments for me was Actarus asking all these questions about the busdriver role.

Deadman, Takes controll of a player and has them target a different player. I'm not a fan of the busdriver role, but in this game... Deadman was our busdriver.

Another point I didn't realize in game until after I left. What's funny (or sad, depending on your outlook) was my assumption that my abilities didn't work if my character wasn't featured in the write-up. That led to a line of questioning that was in fact not relevant, so my apologies to all that had to suffer from that point. Though in my defense, it is my first mafia game.

Again, good game everyone.

And now, to buy some orange liqueur & tequila. I've been challenged to create Margarita Ice cream, so we'll see if my mad culinary experiment is a success, or horrid failure.

Well, you'd be right sir.

Anti... The Freeze Blocks the person for that night. IF someone gets froze, they don't get their investigation, kill, etc.

Sprinkle was his target, Harley's target was Whitey.

Unfortunately Sprinkle's target ended up being Whitey as well.

Gonvick was targeted by Comrade and wound up "Kill" instead of protecting. Gonvick was not going to kill, he was going to WIDEBLAST Sprinkle, and them being frozen before exploding I don't think is really that big of a deal? Harley (you) would have still blown up Whitey... as your bomb isn't something that can be protected against.

If Freeze would have hit his target, Harley still would have "Blown" things up, as she wouldn't have been froze.

Does this help (right or wrong) you to understand what happened with it?

Damn, misinterpreted this crap again. Keeping track of who targeted who is giving me a headache. You're right...so I really led sprinkle to his death...hmmm...

You are retired now though, and have no problem letting the Batman family handle this emergency.

Unlike others that use the name "Green Lantern", your power comes from the Starheart. You kind of consumed it, so it's with you all the time. This means that all it's resources are at your disposal bassically, forever (which is how long you will probably live). You don't have anything to fear at night, the Starheart will keep you safe.

If all the People that could become Batman had died, he would have took up the mantle as Gotham's protector. He was a "Just in Case of an Emergency" if all the evil/mafia groups in the game had somehow co-worked together to do major damage to the town leaders. He could have a VERY NARROW chance of overcoming the odds and help the town win. This of course never happened, as although Nightwing and Batman ate the dust, Robin was still alive. You will read more on Robin later, but just to clarify a couple of things. Robin could only join the Bat-Team if certain criteria was met. The Bat-Team did check him out a few times though, so they were looking at that.

You have been hiding the fact that you have began to recover the use of your limbs, and have been working out to bring your body back into top physical condition. If you survive long enough, you may overcome your handicap! At that point The Mods will PM you some new goodies.

Barbara Gordon, at the start of the game was not really in any condition to go out at night. She was working on it, with a huge amount of willpower. The deaths of her "Birds" would bring her out after the third day of the last one's death. Now she is back in action as the original Batgirl.

Each night you may PM the Mods of who you want to TRACK. Some people believe that Tim Drake is the obvious person being molded to take over as the Batman when Bruce Wayne finally retires. So it was only fitting that he would take over at the end of this, as Batman.

He was also able to "Recruit" Nightwing into their little team of Bludhaven. Nightwing being able to be recruited by both Teams. HOwever, a TEAM couldn't be melded into one group. Meaning, as long as Spoiler was alive, Robin couldn't be recruited.

Spoiler, if she survived, would have took up the mantle of Robin.

In other news tonight, the rest of Gotham was alive and well. They had survived again.
Yes... The streets were again active with crimefighters, villains and criminals of the underworld. However, tonight everyone was feeling just a bit more safer. Tonight NO deaths would occur. So ends this tail of Gotham City.

I'd like to point out something interesting really quick.

I never intended for the "Bat-Team" to be dominant in this, or the "Gotham Mafia" to be such a threat that they ended up being. The "Gotham Mafia" didn't even really exist, except as Penguin's idea, to start with.

If you look closely at IER's and Arrow's Role PM's... you will notice similarity there. They were essentially the same. One good, one bad. Funny how they both ended up being the town leader's at different points of play. I never expected this, and some of the things Arrows said, made me think "You know.. THat would have been AWESOmE!" lol.

With the other two groups up there (League and Demon's head), you now know that they combined force's. If you look at Talie/Undertaker666... you will see he met one of his goals there. He took over the League and the Head (with the death of Ra's). I was excited that somehow he managed to pull that off, and was thinking he had something very cunning up his sleeve.

Had he managed to get "T" killed as well, he would have been able to "Frame" one person, and protect another. The framing in this game worked both ways (make scum town, and vice versa). Unfortunately for Taker, the only investigator that wasn't blocked from such things was Ragman. He didn't see "Town/Scum" in his investigations. Just "Guilty/Innocent". Spectre was someone I wanted in this game, but since Hush didn't make the cut, Spectre couldn't either. Spectre would have been able to do something similar as Ragman... with the difference of him finding a suitable "Host" whenever his "host" was killed or hung. He would live on, but with a different person playing him (RNG would have decided between certain people).

It was in thier heart moreso then their actions. SO it really wouldn't have mattered as much.

Ragman's biggest weakness of course would be fire. He could also not really get a guilty verdict on you (for example) or Harley. The reasons for your actions are psychological... Being Insane.

In quite a few different stories people such as Joker have been made completely sane for a few minutes, and have been totally repentive of their actions (to the point that ... Joker for example broke down and cried). Although Ragman wouldn't have got the "Guilty" verdict on those two, the other detectives could have.

This was probably one of the weakest people in the game. She wouldn't have been able to be picked up by any other group. Creatively, I couldn't leave her out as she not only filled a role I wanted filled, but could have lead to some interesting bit's for the write-up's. At first I was going to add a her finding's on the "News Broadcast" in the write-ups. Some things I ditched because it would have gave way too much away. This was one of them.

This ability was used more often then people probalby realised, during the day. James played a good game as always. I seen some posts in the thread, maybe meant to "rattle" him a bit, saying he never contributes. However, he actually remained pretty active throughout the whole game.

Each night you will do... Nothing. You're content for now, to just observe Gotham, and keeping yourself safe (no.. You're not Bullet Proof).
One of my favorite character's in the whole game. She become outraged when a member of the League/Head took out her daughter (Batgirl-Cassandra Cain). She was so upset that she become a Vigilante for three nights.

She actually could have been recruited by them, if they hadn't "SPECIFICALLY" killed her daughter.

Shiva's death.... I hated the way we put it in the write-up, because she didn't get to fight. I couldn't find a possible way to make her fight, since Mr. Freeze did freeze her target, with the WIDEBLAST. Freeze's blast was a roleblock, which is why Anti didn't get the kill... His block not only blocked his target, but the other's that were hit by it as well. Hopefully that helps Anti with his confusion about that. I really wanted to find a way for Shiva to live through that, but Crychon kept me straight.... "Shiva Dies!"
