If 24 is the hammer, do we want to drop it?
Liekly to be my last action until tomorrow evening, so I'm okay to kill him off - he should have come up with some defence by now.
I agree with you dropping the vote but only b/c of anger about what happened to my friend tobie and when he did turn up town it made me pretty mad that he got the rush lynch. So my feeling is personal based on what happened in the past, only difference is that Tobie never came back at all and UFC did and didn't have the kindness to let us in on anything. So based off of that I would say do it but I am sure this feeling is purely emotional.

Anyway, as per usual for Thursdays, once I leave work I gotta go hit the local plasma donation place and then hit up the weekly Star Trek CCG night... might try to catch up on posts when I get home, but that's usually not until after midnight, so I may just leave it for morning.
Unless something happens in the next few minutes, my vote's staying where it is, and I'm okay with that.

Normally, this is the point where I'd say "Maybe he's just town, upset that we're all ganging up on him without a reason," but the dude's not even trying... you'd think scum would, by now, have come up with some sort of false roleclaim for him to throw out.
Dunno. I'm hoping he's scum, but I have the bad feeling he'll turn out to be Spiteful Townie... which, y'know, is better to lynch than Helpful Townie, but not quite as good as lynching scum...
Just look at my creative roleclaims last game! That was scum trying hard :D I still think if nZane hadn't stolen my power I could have gotten away with it, even for just one more day phase.
Also in reference to my low post count, it's mostly because work is really busy so I'm restricted to checking this at home. As I live in the UK, you guys mostly post while I'm asleep, so it's often hours before I catch up. And I'm just a quiet player. Compare my post count from Hollywood Horror (town) and Star Wars (scum), and they're pretty much the same

Forgot to add the reason for this previous post. If he was scum he should at least be trying to throw us off the scent, but he's just being a poopy head. I'm in no hurry to lynch, but even if he's town he's really not doing us any favours

No, you were definitely a Grand Inquisitor which was an interrogator/lie detector and no where near a bodyguard.
Ah, sorry, I forgot about the star wars one, was thinking of the Hollywood Horror, my apology for that.
And I do have opinions on them game, it's just that they are already said and brought up by others , and I don't feel like it's all that important to just say I agree with [insert poster name]. I can do that.
And catching up right now.

As for why I've not posted before now:
1) Work.
2) Truck Repairs.
3) More work.
4) Fighting with my internet company because of said truck repairs and them wanting to shut off my 'Net service.
5) Don't see a need to be a mindless "I agree" sheep, plus I know very little of the source material.
6) By the time I get to check stuff, it's either night phase or (in this case) giving the person on the hot seat a chance to defend himself.
Personally, it seems to me that it's an obvious mistake, but as the consensus seems to be "wait for a mod to show up so he can defend himself," I'm content to do that. Something just does not sit right with me, though, and I cannot put a finger on what it is.

I'm seeing some of the logic for the back and forth about UFC-KING being Town or Scum.
Either he's hiding and hoping the heat dies off, or he just doesn't feel like defending himself.
Personally, I think the majority vote is going the right direction.
Cassandra Cain Batgirl.. maybe?
If Babs Gordon is in the game I have a funny suspicion it involves the Birds of Prey, and no, I'm not gonna expand upon that now.
Glotnot still thinks that the Teen Titans are a much more likely Mason group then the Birds of Prey.
Dick Grayson and Tim Drake have been members, and unless I'm sorely mistaken, Batgirl was an honorary member if not a full-fledged one. A group with connections to three members of the Bat Family makes more sense to me then a group that has only one connection. Though I might be biased.
Depends on the Robin, really. Dick Grayson ... dynamic! Jason Todd ... not so much. lol
You ignore Tim Drake.

Gotham's residents gathered after what was a pretty rough night for all of them. They had lost two of their best and brightest, but it was time to move on, time to try and rid this city of some of the dark and shady characters who lurked about.
The day started as many suspected it would. They pointed the finger at the one who started the events on the day before. Pressure seemed to be building until one man stepped forward.
"I hope this works out well like yesterday!"
The crowd stopped, stunned, and turned to the source of the voice. The crowd grew more and more violent, and the target didn't say a word.
"Yeah, keep on watching me!"
He finally uttered, and the crowd stood around him, waiting for more.
He stood there, not saying a word.
They poked, they prodded... Nothing.
Finally they grew impatient, and brought him to the gallows.
They asked if he had any last words... Surprisingly, he didn't.

I didn't have an interrigator role last game. I was a body guard. Was also a body guard in the Lakeside story. I get that role a lot.
And for activity, I don't like to post when I have nothing to say or attribute. I agree with jumping on UFC King but there is already enough pressure on him, so I will hold my vote back.
No you weren't a bodyguard at all....
you were a scum interrogator who could ask questions in the thread, if you got a yes or no answer you could ask the mod if that was a lie...

Anyone ever had "runtime error 2" on TEW? I would go to tech support but it says "this file already exists" when trying to progress from the results overview screen at the end of a show, and I think it's because I had that page a couple of times and went back to the main menu to reload with slight changes...so as sure as I am it'll work once I restart, some reassurance would be great.
Incidentally, Steve Flash looks a lot like Valiant. And my tag division needs at least one guy who can teach the rest to wrestle. Patriot and Blue Collar are some of the few none-subtle gimmicks that suit him. Voila...

I believe that game I accidentally switched myself into a tricky situation and died from it.
Also, I'd like to ask if I missed anything other than the UFC-King lynch and the modkill. It's my job to check for the subtle bits, but in the 30 some pages I was out during, did I miss anything incredibly important?
In regards to my incapacitation, I know nothing of it. I was just told I couldn't speak. However, I suspect it was The Scarecrow who hit me with his toxin. My character is male, if that helps at all.

Holy ****.
I did not see that modkill post at all. Yeah, that's something. Really shows to what point a modkill can effect the game. So "Anti-Batman" aligned, does the color tell anything? Hmm.
I looked up Prometheus on wiki and he seems the kind of beefy guy who could kill. Apparently he's very intellectual and a skilled combatant as well(no honestly, isn't like almost every DC comic villain equipped with those attributes? "superhuman strength, genius intellect and skilled combatant" lol)

Well, Shape mentioned Blode, but it was in the context of speculating whether the other Tweedle was trying to keep attention on him to distract from UFC. You then mentioned Blode, Infinity and Bear in your response. Hence the question about Blode keeping the heat on Blode.
So it just looked odd that you included Blode on the list of those who might have been trying to keep the focus on Blode to prevent the lynch that occured.
And so I just wanted to make sure that you weren't talking about something else.

As I recall..
The "anti-Batman" thing is because his parents were criminals who were gunned down by cops, so he fights against justice. With his stupid looking helmet. So he was created to be naturally opposed to Batman.
Im not aware of any grudge beyond that, and the obvious fact that he is a villian and Batman beats up villians.

Prometheus was created as the Anti Batman (in origin, Ideals, etc) though he first began as a JLA villain. The only thing I remember about Promo is after single handedly beating the entire JLA, he gets beaten by Catwoman because he didn't plan on her being there.
Since people have thrown out possible roles that may or may not be in the game, I wouldn't be surprised if the game included Tommy Monaghan (The Hitman)

Looking at UFC-King and Mike_b's characters has got me thinking, could it be that we're dealing with multiple scum where there isn't one "main" Mafia group? So:

Penguin = Penguin Aligned
Joker = Joker Aligned

The reason I initially thought about it is because I was thinking of a similar concept for my game, where all the scum are essentially by themselves but they all work together individually to take down the town. If i've thought of such an idea i'm sure others have too.

I have a concept for a game that would be just completely awesome... Everyone is individually aligned and gets either a 1-shot kill or multivote. But when they die, they come up either town aligned or mafia aligned so that nobody else knows that everyone else is an individual. Along with maybe one true serial killer (who kills every night and would be at a decided advantage), the concept, provided people didn't figure it out before the end... Would just rule.

But when they die, they come up either town aligned or mafia aligned so that nobody else knows that everyone else is an individual. Along with maybe one true serial killer (who kills every night and would be at a decided advantage), the concept, provided people didn't figure it out before the end... Would just rule.
So long as a town alignment was seen in the opening writeup, and everyone therefore pretended to be town, that could rock. Now just wait long enough for everyone to forget the suggestion, heh...

If I signed up now, the game would be in approximately 17 years. This might work... :D

If everyone's Individual Aligned, what would the win conditions be?

If everyone's Individual Aligned, what would the win conditions be?
My guess?
Last man standing.
Or perhaps some characters would have conditions like "once everyone but these people are dead". And of course you don't let them talk like a mason group out of the thread, you'll just have to try and work to keep those folks alive the best you can. Or something along those lines...

Last man standing. You're either a killer or a politician. So once the game gets down to 2, those two would win unless one still had their multivote or night kill.

What if they BOTH had their night kill?
Kill each other, and no one wins?
And if they're both multi-voters, does it come down to a gunslinger style duel where the first person to cast their giant vote wins?

It'd be hilarious if everyone used their one shot kill during the first nightphase and half the players were killed off. :D

In the kills, that would probably have to be declared a draw. Multi-voters would have to be first man to cast it though. And night kill vs. multi-vote... That would just depend on which phase it was.
It'd be hilarious if everyone used their one shot kill during the first nightphase and half the players were killed off. :D
See, that's one of the things that would potentially screw the game over. I thought about that, and the mod would have to use some creative liscense on that, something like "There was something in the air tonight, a sinister aura hanging over the town of "X". Was this the work of some evil denizen of the city, or have the citizens of "X" truly gone mad?"

He's got to step up at some point, so why not Khali? From the last few Smackdown episodes i've seen (which admittedlly isn't many as well as being few and far between) Khali is rarely even used, unless they need someone big to look like a threat to someone.

I lied about nothing. I'm male and didn't do anything last night.
I'm 87% sure I'm the one who was targeted by The Scarecrow. I was incapacitated, and that thing about the drink doesn't sound like anything that would take someone out for a phase.
I can take what it says about me getting things done as flavor text. There is no other explanation.
Regardless, neither passage sounds like something I have to defend myself from anyway, so I think it's safe to put that on the back burner for now.

Yeah, I assumed goldeneye was the person taken out by Scarecrow. In fact, I'd almost say I'm positive, as the write-up seems to suggest that the person caught in the trap is rendered useless by his running around and babbling incoherently. Nothing about the drink seems to suggest that it incapacitated the inbiber.
