Don't really recall anything like that. I just personally worry when scum groups go a while without being "unearthed" so to speak. Anybody who's got any info as to the possible recruitments needs to make it known; interested to see who people think were likely targets for that incidentally. General notions like O-K's above post that "this is a zombie game"...I think are dangerous. I can't help but feel at some point the two could be interlinked...but right now this is the right way to go, then we get to see what the big deal really is about the 5th night.

Lakeside was a wreck. There was a very small number of survivors and no one knew each others motives. They had done well weeding out threats, but the threats seemed to be doing just as well weeding out them. Who would win this stalemate?

we belive the 'bomb' in gonvick's case was a present from nzane, he gaev something to gonvick that they didnt know exactly what it was but sounded like a protection of some kind to them, at least thats what others have said

I am not a Bomb in the essence that I "win" per the games deffinition that I "win". My conditon to win per Astil and DWW is that I win when all threats to the town are eliminated. I am also town alligned.

I have said before I "win" in my own mind based on the amount of bodies when all is said and done at the MacBodyCount Awards ceremony.

I'd argue that point, I'd say they tried mixing zombies and vampires, and I didn't really enjoy the result. The vampires just didn't make a lot of sense to me, but that's the risk you run when you try something new.

In other words, we wouldn't have had to lynch him until Glotnot shot him (and then revealed himself as a Vig... or maybe he's a hitman and this is his perfect cover?). If that is what happened, then not only did one of the most powerful townies get outed, but we also wasted a day lynching someone who, had we trusted, wouldn't have needed to be lynched (atleast not yet. There's plenty of people who are scum regardless of becoming zombies or not out there). If that is what happened, then truly an awful play on the town's part.

And I'll go out on a limb and say, with confidence, that I'm sure the zombie threat isn't eradicated. Four nights have gone down... we now know GruntMark was infected. Stands to reason the Undead didn't epicly fail and not infect anyone else. No, not a chance in hell the zombies are down for the count.

My TOTALLY AWESOME theory is, we'll probably need to find who it is now in charge of the zombie horde and kill them if we're going to have a hope of winning this thing. Right now though, I think the town is actually in pretty poor shape. Yeah, we haven't mislynched anyone. But it took us two attempts to lynch The Aussie (which we now should know was a ploy to buy time thanks to MNN and his fellow Undead), GruntMark probably wouldn't have turned evil had Glotnot not shot him, and the only Mafia member we killed was due to luck. Oh, we and killed UFC-King who was Unaligned. For all we know, he could've been totally innocent.

the first c class is usually not to hard. but if i were you I would get my hands on a free compiler now, and start transitioning over as it is a different way of thinking about programming that basic.

I like basic because it is light, and easy to use. C is powerful! but not always as intuitive and as user friendly.

I've already done a year of JAVA which is C but nicer on the eyes (IMHO). I imagine the basic C class will be easy. Orange has done 2 years of Calc now I think, so if I need help with that i can ask her :).

He sat alone. They ... Lakeside ... the Mafia ... the Pack ... the Undead ... they had all taken away what meant the most to him. Now he had nothing. Only his sense of vengeance pushed him forward. Tonight he would make a statement all of Lakeside would have to stand up and listen to.

The man walked the streets, eager to rid Lakeside of evil. He watched a man walk up the street. This man was no heretic, no abomination of nature. He would not feel the Wrath of God.

He shiftily slinked to his target. Some liked to steal from the living, but the dead made much less of a fuss. He found what looked like blueprints ... three of them! Happy to have found something, he returned home.

Nearby, a man watched and discovered that his services were not required tonight.

Another man was on the verge of an important discovery. He just needed a few more hours.

A woman entered the room, carrying a large wad of cash. The man looked at the money. Sure would be useful to have, if he managed to make it out Lakeside.

He took the money and walked away with the woman. His research could wait another night.

Looking out into the night, she sighed. She hoped that tonight would be more interesting, as ... well ... it couldn't get much more boring. Walking away from the hotel room she was ... borrowing, she looked both ways before crossing the street. A stupid habit, especially now with few cars roaming Lakeside.

From behind she heard him. She turned, excited to have someone to talk to. She could see the lightning in his eyes, and he hit her right between the eyes. Hit her right between the eyes.

Then he picked her up and walked away, nothing more to say.

The man was wired with explosives and ready to go. He picked his target and was ready to shadow him, hoping that the right set of circumstances would occur, allowing for maximum carnage.

He found his target and moved to stand near him, but he was too fast. Way too fast. Elsewhere, another watched, also hoping to get close this man. He too, failed.

Disappointed, the wired man looked down and found a piece of paper. Interesting, he thought to himself.

The televisions flickered on once more, this time in a Best Buy display window. The man walking by cared for no one but himself, however the more the television talked the more he like the future this man created. The television told him to stay put, and so he did.

Into the night again, with only the best of intentions in mind. Like some super hero he stayed in the darkness, watching... waiting... learning.

Everything that happened to this person was seen, and he went home feeling accomplished.

All the while a man stood guard, making sure no harm befell this one.

The big, nay, enormous man was hungry! He was oh so very hungry. But the boss wouldn't let him eat! Can't have any dinner until the chores were done.

The car was slowly moving up the street. His target was one of the few people in town with a working automobile. The enormous man waved the man down. The car slowed to a stop. A very official looking man rolled down the window. "What's up, buddy? Make it quick, I've got some business to handle."

The fat man waddled around the car. "I need your help! There are some guys down there in the alley, they're up to no good!" The fat man pointed down an alley. As Crychon turned his head to look down the alley, the disgusting fat man produced a small handgun and shot him in the side of the head.

Crychon slumped over to the side, dead.

Dragging her to his basement, he opened the door and shoved her in. What he did not expect was Lostrelms to get out. She started to run for her life, but something had happened over the last 5 days. She had thought ... she had reflected. All the people she had stepped on, made fun of, tormented. She was no better than this sick man. She saw the open night. She saw her own freedom.

She turned, fists clenched.

Two people were interested in this pansy of a man man tonight.

One was convinced that there was a story behind this man. The other was convinced that there was much that could be learned from him.

Unfortunately for both, this man was nowhere to be found.

Walking confidently towards his newest recruit, he offered his hand. They shook hands and nodded, allies now. As they turned to walk away a voice caught there attention.

His eyebrow raised. One of his toys had escaped, but now she had turned around. She rushed in, jumping at her once oppressor. He simply sidestepped, causing her to crash into the basement door. He moved in, but she rolled off the door onto the rocky surface. Picking up one of these rocks, she throw at the man. It sailed past. He strode towards her, maliciously. Quickly she grabbed another rock of the ground, and swung for his kneecaps. Pain shot up his body, and rage over took him. Stealing the rock away, he bludgeoned Lostrelms again and again. She had stood up and fought, but in the end it didn't even matter...

Wild eyed, he raced back to the area he set up the closed circuit recording station. His recruit in tow, they arrived to see it pristine, untouched. Confused by what this meant, Orange-kun walked closer to the generator he used to power everything. He smelt smoke, but it wasn't from the generator. Turning fast he noticed the television he used to watch his own records smoking. Why, why would it start now, for -

CRASH!

The wall caved in, crushing Orange-kun, and pummeling his recruit slightly. The man behind the wheel of the bulldozer laughed as it ran out of gas and died.

"We've only just begun..."

The fat man looked in the car. "Doritos!" He reached in and grabbed a bag of chips from inside the car. He had earned his dinner, and now had found some chips for dessert. It was definitely a good night.

My reason is because of my constant internal battle with trying to let her off the hook. I truley believe that she is someone of interest and that she is worth putting some pressure on. If we chose not to someone have better have a damn good reason not to. Since all I hear people say is why, rather than why not. So do as I have directed and place your votes on Cyber, for at least some pressure. She comes in and doesn't help and brushes everything aside and makes note of my attacks and my choice of keeping the votes on her alive...But never gives reason not to lynch or question her... Do something about this and make a change. She knows nobody is going to back me right now but I have done nothing but prove myself. Give me the chance to prove it again.

I don't understand why machine wants to push things forward with such speed. Running as fast as we can only means we won't see everything that we need to see. When I was scum, I always hoped things would go quickly so that information would be skipped over. this would make an interesting game mechanic, if he were a mad bomber, and at a random time each day he went off, so if the town procrastinated he would go off and they would loose their lynch and he would be the soul decision as to who got bombed.

Thanks Anti; appreciate the honesty as from the write-up it made sense. There are a couple of reasons as for contributing less in this game than in Gotham. I won't go into all of them; a few are real life issues at the moment. But one reason I'll mention is the difference in my role / abilities then in Gotham. Also, I try to pick up clues from write-ups, so the lack of details in the write-ups weren't helping me out (though that seems to have changed).

My only thing atm is that I know that at least two other people targetted Rock. CK is probably a reasonable way to go for pressure (providing she shows up to deal with said pressure), but the whole silencing thing still needs some addressing.

1. Why would we believe that the Homewrecking Hunk's silencing is 100% town? Obviously I wasn't in previous Lakeside games, so maybe there's a good reason, but still...
2. He's still blatantly ignoring The Archer and by extension me.
3. Yeah, there is another silencer out there (the guy who took out Rock, then Trypio and myself) but he was also nowhere to be found last night.

Keep in mind that, given what all was said last day phase, there are reasons for a townie to target Rock. That said though, the Framer possibility is also one with merit, and I wouldn't vote on either person until both have spoken and explained themselves in detail.

He sat alone. They ... Lakeside ... the Mafia ... the Pack ... the Undead ... they had all taken away what meant the most to him. Now he had nothing. Only his sense of vengeance pushed him forward. Tonight he would make a statement all of Lakeside would have to stand up and listen to.

The big, nay, enormous man was hungry! He was oh so very hungry. But the boss wouldn't let him eat! Can't have any dinner until the chores were done.

The car was slowly moving up the street. His target was one of the few people in town with a working automobile. The enormous man waved the man down. The car slowed to a stop. A very official looking man rolled down the window. "What's up, buddy? Make it quick, I've got some business to handle."

The fat man waddled around the car. "I need your help! There are some guys down there in the alley, they're up to no good!" The fat man pointed down an alley. As Crychon turned his head to look down the alley, the disgusting fat man produced a small handgun and shot him in the side of the head.

Crychon slumped over to the side, dead.

Big man... kind of guy that'd have no problem silencing someone... or blocking any sort of targetting of someone. Two options there.

Dragging her to his basement, he opened the door and shoved her in. What he did not expect was Lostrelms to get out. She started to run for her life, but something had happened over the last 5 days. She had thought ... she had reflected. All the people she had stepped on, made fun of, tormented. She was no better than this sick man. She saw the open night. She saw her own freedom.

She had stood up and fought, but in the end it didn't even matter...

Wild eyed, he raced back to the area he set up the closed circuit recording station. His recruit in tow, they arrived to see it pristine, untouched. Confused by what this meant, Orange-kun walked closer to the generator he used to power everything. He smelt smoke, but it wasn't from the generator. Turning fast he noticed the television he used to watch his own records smoking. Why, why would it start now, for -

The wall caved in, crushing Orange-kun, and pummeling his recruit slightly. The man behind the wheel of the bulldozer laughed as it ran out of gas and died.

Just cause people say things don't mean they'll do it. Hell to be honest (even though I think the write up says you are) there was always the possibility that you were lying and not a PGO/bomb. The idea that you will now stand beside someone would be an awesome way to keep people away from scum allies.

Just like when I was the protector in other games, I haven't always protected those pleding for help, either cause I thought they were scum or I wanted to try the gambit of scum thinking that they were protected and trying to guess their next target.
