It could be done but there is Title Bout Championship Boxing..and MMA has almost killed boxing....I used to box and I love boxing , but I am not sure when the last good fight I have seen.....now if you ask me about MMA I could tell you UFC 89.

The last boxing fight ever talked about was Mayweather vs. Del La Hoya...Boxing has nearly been pronounced dead.

BUT THAT'S WHERE WE COME IN!!! lol.

I don't know I'd say MMA has almost killed boxing at all. Boxing is like the husband who is incrementally poisoned to death by his supposedly doting wife. MMA just manufactured the final dose of poison. What's killed boxing is taking it out of the average fan's hands. Look at the pattern UFC has followed over the years. They started out as a niche PPV thing and gradually moved to the point that it's so credible they'll now show some of their fight cards on Spike TV at times. Boxing's done the reverse.

When I was a little boy, one of the few truly bonding things my black sheep older brother and I did was sit and try to score the boxing matches on TV as we watched them. But over the years, all the notable fights have gone PPV and the only fights you can find on free or cable TV is John Doe fighting Joe Blow and you pretty much have to be in the know in order to find even those fights. They've taken what was once Everyman's sport and made it a premium item. And they've been doing that since before people knew MMA wasn't the Michigan Mining Association.

Anyway to get that on topic, I don't know that a boxing game would be worth the time of a company looking to make a profit off their games. For a EWR-era Adam Ryland type maybe. But for a professional sim-maker, boxing has to undo its rectal-cranial inversion before that becomes a wise move.

Boxing was great to watch in its time, but MMA has just taken over the scene.
