Bockwinkel wasn't the only one getting frustrated. Hogan stated putting the screws to Bock but then the champ got on a roll in the middle of the match and that set the tone for the finish. Hogan just couldn't put the champ away. I was ready to throw something at my pc's monitor.

I've been "watching" exhibition matches and they all seem to start off slow and then get "meatier" as the wrestlers wear down during the matches. Because of the high energy & stamina levels of Hogan and his opponents, and this goes for Flair as well, the matches start off low and get better the deeper into the match we go. Hogan's and Flair's matches seem to take very long to play out because their energy level starts in the 80s.

I thought for sure that Hogan was a goner after the first running knee but the adrenaline rush (hulking up) kicked him into high gear for the rest of the match.
