Vince walks into the board room and sits down at the head of the table, everyone is calm and silent as they know today is cut day, it is the last meeting of the year and it is the day people are released and ideas are given about next year and who could possibly be a break out star, many of the big names are in the room such as Shane, Stephanie, Paul L., John Laurinaitis, Christopher DeJoseph, Brian Gewirtz, Michael Hayes, Ed Koskey, Pat Patterson, Michael Pavone, Dusty Rhodes, and even Freddie Prinze Jr. along with many others who were standing in the back

Guys,…… I’m not going to lie, this was the worst year the WWE has had since WCW wiped the floor with us. Stock fell, ratings were down, and the storylines, I mean I just don’t know what to say.

The room sits in silence as Vince keeps talking

Okay, so let’s look at storylines that happened this year, Kane vs Mysterio, well if either one of them had Main Event cred still you guys found a way to kill it with this storyline!

Vince looks up from his paper but still no one talks

You know after I look at all of this the only storyline besides Flair’s retirement that worked was Shawn and Chris Jericho! What the hell happened to us, we went from the best wrestling company in the world to struggling to keep our rating for Raw over 3.0, and instead of sitting here and shouting out ideas and saying thing, you all sit here like you guys got your da*n brains sucked out of your ******* heads, do you not realize that this our livelihood, our money maker, the thing that keeps food on your tables?

Vince stands up from his chair and walks around and stands behind Michael Hayes

I mean Hayes, your biggest headline this year, was getting suspended for remarks you made, Christopher yours in getting into a yellow t-back and dancing, none of you have done anything this year, no storylines that were worth investing in,……. nothing! Hell we even screwed up my storyline!

As Vince looks around trying to see if anyone had anything to say.

And yet you all sit here with no words coming out of those mouths,……. so you have lead me to make a decision that will either take this company back to its glory or ultimately take us down to the level of TNA and ROH

Finally someone speak, none other than Mr. Prinze Jr.

Effective today the WWE is in the market for a new Head Booker, a man with vision, with passion, and with the balls to tell me NO!

Shane looks up looks around and speaks

Well there is the great thing…… I want you guys to name me some names right now and I will interview them, BUT! No one who works for us right now

Now Vince I don’t think that will be nessacary just give us one more year, we can turn things around!

Then on Wednesday

Dwayne 11 am till 1
Hogan 3 to 4
Hart 6 till 7pm
And Mr. Nolan 9 till 11pm

Okay so Vince we both know that wrestling isn’t what it use to be, I mean the Austin’s and the Rock's and others are all gone, they aren’t wrestling anymore, but we have a bunch of new guys who could replace them, I mean you guys could have built the Batista and Cena storyline more, even though personally I think you should have waited on it

But that can all be fixed, you have two Hardy and Cena as your world champion, but then you start to destroy people like MVP and Kennedy it starts to hurt you, my idea is to sign three big names off the block and put them on the three brands, one each……

As time continues to click McMahon looks at his watch a notices there is only a minute left

Whoa man time flew by, listen Russo I really didn’t want this interview, but you gave some great ideas, and I hate to say this, but if I gave you the position I would feel comfortable about it

Well that’s exciting, but onto business, see Austin there is no doubt that you were a part of one of the biggest ERA’s of wrestling, the attitude ERA, you Dwayne, Foley, Taker, and Paul did things that at that time just weren’t proper, and man did it sell, but now we have entered into a new age

Yeah, the boring pieces of crap, make you want to sit down and eat with the family instead, type crap…. See Vince you keep shoving these big men who can’t wrestle or cut a promo worth a lick of spit down the fans throats and they are turning off the TV or at least watching other shows. So now your creative team aint worth shirt either and you don’t know what to do, so you brought me in, Stone Cold Steve Austin to see if I had any ideas

See that would be great but then I would have to run everything by you

See Vince you need to build up ECW, they don’t need more than an hour, it would be nice but they don’t, but you need to let me have ECW and make it the way it needs to be, a dirty, sexy, wrestling promotion that doesn’t know the limits, and to steal from TNA, it keeps crossing that line, besides that we need to build up new talent, Raw and Smackdown, well let’s face they are getting old, TNA and ROH are bringing in new young talent, we are trying but you stop it very quickly if things don’t pan out


As Heyman keeps talking Vince keeps writing on his pad, Heyman then gets up and starts to walk out

“Well I guess, but I mean this is the WWE, I would finically set myself for awhile here, plus I have never worked with a roster who were as well known like your talent is, I have always used independent talent”

“Like CM Punk, Colt Cabana, and Matt Sydal?”

“Well yes, but it is different here, your requirements are so high, I mean, well it’s just, I book in a very different fashion!”

“Listen Gabe I understand that, and even if you don’t get this job I still want to hear what you have, because if I remember right you did almost everything for ECW and I need people like that in the company!”

“Okay, well Vince I think Raw and Smackdown should be completely different, Raw is your bigger brand and it should be kept like that by having your big names on it, but Smackdown should be used for wrestling, I would like to bring in the likes of Brent Albright, Bryan Danielson, and many others from ROH, even taking ROH and making it a developmental area, they are better known than FCW and they focus more on the wrestling aspect, then ECW have a mix of young wrestlers and a vets but bring back some of the ECW style……..”

As Gabe keeps speaking Vince never seems like he is day dreaming, even asking questions about things, Gabe and Vince got along really well during the whole process

“Well Gabe, sad to say our time is up, but I really like what I heard, you have ideas that could take WWE were it has never touched before, I still have a couple more interviews but you will definitely be hearing back from me”

“Alright, well thank you Mr. McMahon for your time, and I’ll be waiting for your call”

“Gabe, last thing”

“Yes”

“Your first event if you land the job will be the Rumble, so start writing it up”

See, it's not all about the money, some of it has to do with the aches and pains

Dwayne I have offered all I can, here take the contract home and you right down what you believe would be fair for your services, if you send the contract back signed I will be happy, if not I will understand

“No we do, it's just I'm really hungry and I need something to eat...... Would you care to join, we can talk over supper?”

“Yeah sure I just got off the plane about an hour ago and you know how plane food is” Hart pauses and thinks

“Well I guess never mind, you have the jet, but where are we going?”

“Chili's?”Vince says quickly towards Hart

“Chili's, you mean a man who is a Multi Millionaire, almost a Billionaire, wants to eat at Chili's!” Bret looks puzzled as he cannot believe Vince McMahon would eat at Chili's

“Yeah, they have a great Chili's Classic Steak, 8oz of pure joy in my mouth!” Vince response with a little drool coming from his mouth

“Well, as long as you're paying?”

“Sure”


The two men walk out of the Titan Tower and get into a Rolls Royce limo that takes them to the closest Chili's

When the two men arrive they instantly get bum bared by people wanting pictures and autographs and even ask if Bret is coming back to the WWE which Vince replies

“Never say never!”

When they get inside Vince ask if they can be put in a section by themselves, even saying he would give each person an extra hundred dollars and one thousand to the restaurant so they are not bothered, the waitress agrees and prepares their section for the two men

“Right this way gentlemen,” the hostess tells them

She takes them to a table that can't not been seen from a window or the door

“Here you guys go, and your waitress tonight will be Jen”

She walks away and the to men start to talk while they read their menus

“She was cute” Vince says right off the bat

“Yeah and also 17”

“Are you sure, well I guess I could give her my card and she could become a diva one day.... speaking of divas how would you fix that division?”

Vince gives Bret his first question as the waitress comes over and they give their orders, then Bret sits and thinks and replies with

“Well I think they need to be separated correctly, if you are going to have a Women's division and a Divas division then you need to place the people in the correct one, like Candice and Kelly and Jillian are divas, Nattie, Victoria, should be in the Women's division, and give Nattie back her name, I understand why you gave her Natalya, but you need to play off the fact see his a Hart and not just let people think it”

Bret pauses as the drinks come to them and takes a quick sip

“And we keep hearing about the new Heart Foundation, well let's do it, it could work, we bring in Jim and let him be the mouth, bring back Teddy, even though he has problems he should be okay with Jim and I there”

Vince coughs as he was going to try to say something but didn't get his drink down fast enough

“Well what about your kids?”

“Well Blade and Dallas are teaming together around Canada, and Jade and Beans(Alexandra) are working with Storm”

“Ever thought they could wrestle here?”

“After the way you screwed me!”

“Hey, that was a long time ago”

“But yes, I have had that thought a couple of times, but if they were to I would want them to train at FCW for one year, also I would bring in some talented guys to train with everyone down in FCW”

“Like”

“Well I will tell you if I get the job”

As the two men eat the trade ideas, Vince seemed very impress through out the whole talk and even stuck around to get some Molten Lava Cake, afterwards they get into the limo and take off to the airport so Bret can get home

“Bret, I appreciate you coming out here and giving some ideas about how you would do this, if you were to get hired your first show would be the Rumble, but I have thought about changing it to Raw first week on January so you can build up to the Rumble”

“The Rumble would be okay, but Raw would be better, but no problem Vince”

“Alright have a safe trip home”

“Just one more interview, then it's time to announce the new direction of the WWE!”

Vince logs onto his computer and gets to where he can see Christopher

“You do know that I am a bit of a different type of writer, correct”

“No I get that, I have watched your movies and I think your style of writing could be a very nice addition to the WWE”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, not many know this but the WWE is going to have a fire sell, a lot of people are going to loses their jobs, and some might keep theirs, but these interview are for many different positions…. Now of course the main one is Head Booker, and I know that you are a big movie director now and that you still want to do that, but we are willing to work with you with that”

“Alright, so what now?”

“Well, do you have any ideas?”

“Oh yes, I have been watching videos of your shows and there are places you guys can improve”


As Nolan starts to talk more and more Vince is entertained by the ideas, they continue to talk for more than 4 hours until Vince starts to yawn

“Wow, Chris, I didn’t realize the time, listen thank you for your time once again, you were my last interview, so you should be hearing back from me very soon.”

“Okay thank you, this was a lot of fun”

Tomorrow (12-20-2008) we will be having a meeting in the big conference room, I expect everyone to be there as this will affect the lives of many, meeting starts at 1pm and I do not know when it will be over. There will be food and drinks, please come with a pad of paper, as well as some new ideas

Everyone who is anyone is there today, wheather you are top dog, or the bottom of the heap, even refs were there, Vince had called for everyone to be in the conference room that day.

Most weren’t talking, just snacking on their food and listening to others talk, John Laurinaitis talking ****y as usual, Stephanie, Shane, HBK, and HHH talking amongst themselves, and Batista hitting on girls

The door starts to open and everyone goes quiet, it’s a group of eight men walking in and grab a seat in one of the eight chairs behind the podium

Five minutes after they came in Julie, Vince McMahon’s asisant, comes in and walks up to the Podium

“Excuse me!”

Everyone stops talking and focus their attention towards the podium

“Hi, my name is Julie and I am Mr. McMahon’s asisant!”

“We know who the hell you are Julie, now where is Vince” Stephanie shouts so everyone can hear her

Most chuckle at the remark, others don’t

Everyone stands and claps as Vince makes his way to the podium, he tells everyone to have a seat as he reaches for his reading glasses

“Thank you all for coming today on such short notice, we are here today to announce a new head booker, but we are also here to announce changes to some things that are wrong with the company”

“What would that be Vince” Shane stands up and questions

“Everybody, welcome to the 2008 end of the year FIRE SALE!”

Everybody starts mumbling and some start to shout towards Vince

“Everyone shut up, if you guys had this much fire the last two years, well your jobs might now be in jeopardy!”

Everyone sits back down and quiets down

“Now every writers job is safe, but there is one huge change, there will be a new head writer, this man has been a great writer for awhile now, and he is ready for a new challenge though, this man has had two blockbuster movies, as well as an intense drama, ladies and gentlemen the new head writer of the WWE….. Christopher Nolan”

“All writers will now report to Mr. Nolan immediately, he will approve or disapprove of what you have written, now we have been struggling with ratings lately, and right now I am going to announce the new producers of the WWE, these three men know what they are doing and well not take crap from anyone! So without further wait, I introduce to you the new producer of WWE Raw, Mr. Eric Bischoff”

“Eric will return to Raw as the GM of Raw on screen, and he will be the Head Booker of Raw as well as producer, and he has asked me for every person involved with Raw to meet him in the Conference room number 2 after this meeting, now for ECW this man wanted me to take Smackdown and turn it into a wrestling show more than an entertainment show, but in my vision I can’t see the fans watching a two hour show each week that is more technical based than entertainment, but with experience in the ECW and me allowing of him to take ECW back to what it once was, I welcome the new producer and head booker of the ECW brand…. Gabe Sapolsky”

“Gabe as well has requested the ECW’s roster meet with him afterwards but in room 3, now we have two of the three brands settled, that just leaves Smackdown, Smackdown has been the biggest disappointment, I moved Jeff Hardy, Umaga, and Triple H over there and the ratings have remaind the same, if we are building it up to be the new big brand, then it has to have the ratings of it, this man is ready for a challenge, he thinks he can boost Smackdown’s ratings, and well damnit, I think he can do it, so please stand up and appaulade the new head booker and producer of Smackdown, Bret “the Hitman” Hart!”

“Hello Stef” As Heyman gives an evil grin

“Hello everyone, how are you all doing…. I’m back! And this time I have control, over all of you!"

“Bull, Shawn and I have creative control” Hunter is now pissed and gets in Heyman’s face

“No Paul, you don’t, see you think you do but you don’t, that was Vince and everyone else just trying not to listen to you two cry, but now I am here, and creative control doesn’t mean crap to me! The WWE is headed into a new direction, now you all can either join in the fun, or pink slips with your names on them can be written? But no matter what this is going to be fun!”

The room sits in shock as Vince dismiss everyone and tells them to meet in the rooms they were told to go, as the room clears out Vince and Paul talk

“Vince, this is the next step, I have already contacted people to come in, and they will be sitting down to talk with me soon”

“Heyman, I backed you with ECW and you didn’t live up to expectations, but I have faith in you this time, good luck this week at Raw”

“Luck, luck….. thank you Vince, it’s time to start the fun!”

As every Raw Superstar walks into the conference room number two, some are questioning what Eric Bischoff and Paul Heyman would change, effect, or destroy their careers. The side door opens and in walks Eric Bischoff and Christopher Nolan, but no Paul Heyman

“Thank you everybody for staying and giving us a couple of minutes of your time, Paul will be in a short minute but before he gets here, I just wanted to talk to you about what I see for Raw and it’s superstars” Eric in a calm voice looks around the room before he continues to speak

“See Raw has been going down this long, dark, cold, and wet tunnel for a couple of years now without a flash light, or for that matter matches, and by that I mean the little piece of wood that burn!"

The side door opens again and in walks Paul, but he doesn’t speak and lets Bischoff continue with his speech

“See, it’s about time that Raw gets back to being run efficiently and effectively. There is no doubt that the only good storyline from this past year was Shawn and Chris, and you could even throw in the Age of Orton, but besides that, well…. Raw was dull, no life, and it could be seen by the viewers, which is why they were not tuning in”

Eric is done with his speech and motions towards Paul and lets him begin

“Eric is right, it’s time for Raw to reclaim its rightful place in the industry and this company, and a place where wrestling and entertainment come together to give you the best show possible, so please everyone go home and have a merry Christmas, and don’t worry about work!”

Everyone stands in silence as the three men walk out of the room, no one knows what to think, but only what to do and that’s to grab their things and head home as Paul and Christopher head over to the Smackdown conference room

I walked in to the second meeting, this one seemed more comfortable. No worries about big names and big egos in here, but also this was my baby, and I am prepared to make it famous again

As I walked in I could have heard a feather hit the ground it was that quiet, kind of creepy. The first man to walk up to me was none other than Tommy Dreamer, his smile calmed me down. Now I was wondering why I am so anxious was it because this is my last shot in the company or maybe even this business, or could it be something else, something bigger.

“Welcome everybody and as you all know by now my name is Paul Heyman, but you may all call me Paul” as calm and collective as I was with the Raw roster this one just wasn’t working for me, and I was hesitant that someone would know that I wasn’t as prepared for this as I had thought.

“Now ECW as most of you know is my baby, it is my monster, and Vince has all but destroyed it.” This infuriated me, I hadn’t really thought about that until now. How he took my belt and discarded it, how Rhino and the Dudley wouldn’t come back because of him, but I knew I had to get over that. “But, I also see great potential in this room. Matt Hardy you are our champion and you are deserving of that, Mark Henry you are most likely along with Finlay our other two big names, but it is time to push you as that monster you are” I could see face brighten and fade as I chanted to everyone, Gabe even commented on some stuff we would work with. I knew having only an hour with the brand would hurt, but maybe a better deal could be worked out when our contract comes up.

With so little time I can only have 3 storylines really going, but I also know I can use everyone still. I do understand this will be difficult; there is just no sugarcoating it.

I let Vickie, Bret, and Christopher talk to the Smackdown roster as I took a quick break, that meeting with the ECW brand really put me in an awkward place. Why am I acting this way, all the thoughts going through my head a mile of minute? I could hear the grumbling in the background from certain indivuals, but it didn’t matter. I couldn’t get this strange feeling out of my stomach. It couldn’t be butterflies I have had that before, no this felt more like a knife straight into my stomach, like someone didn’t want me to attempt this, like I had turned on everything I ever believed in, worse….. everything that makes me who I am. Maybe that was it, it isn’t a knife but my soul, had I really sold my soul to the devil, was that why Dreamer really gave me that hug? Not because I was back, but because he felt bad for me, Dreamer was there with me all of those times we would bad mouth Vince, and now I am Vince’s personal lap dog. I have to get this all out of my head, I have to go in there and look every man and women in the face and tell them that Paul Heyman is here to take this company to new heights.


I took a deep breath before I swung that door open, and when I opened it I felt like Superman. The blood rushed through me and my adrenaline kick in; I can’t stop a bullet but at this point none of that matter

“Sit down and shut up Paul, and I am going to make this short and sweet. I don’t care who you are all, and I don’t care what your contract says or what power you or in some peoples cases wife has, because Vince as guaranteed me full power over all decisions. Now I have no problem working with any of you to make sure you stay or improve your position in this company, but I won’t take any bull ****, so if you can’t handle that then Bret will meet with you on Tuesday and hand you your walking papers. If not then sit back, put on your best performance, and prepare for the ride of your life, because we are all about to have a shi* load of fun”

And there it went, that knife was gone and the room stood in shock, even Triple H was speechless, or maybe he was to pissed to talk, but I wasn’t going to let that ruin my high that I was experiencing, I was all together mentally, physically, and emotionally for the first time since I was told that this was my job

Chapter 1: The Start of an Adventure

As I walked into my new office it really clicked in my head that this was real, not last week and yelling at Paul and still having my job, but walking into this office and seeing that Vince spared no expense to make me feel at home, he even put up on my wall picture of me, but it was no time to dwell in the past. I’m less than a week from my first Raw and I don’t even know who will face each other or for that matter have any real storylines. I mean of course I know what I want to do but know it is time to figure out my feuds. As I looked over the storylines that were current I came to a disgusted feeling

“Geez, they don’t have any storylines worth to back sides of toilet paper.” I was shocked, I mean I hadn’t really kept up with WWE while I was gone but now I need to know some things. I knew a couple of storylines that I wanted but as I looked through the storylines now I knew I would only keep three.

It only took a second though for the thoughts to kick in and I now knew where I was taking this sinking ship and now it will only be a matter of time until this beast is once again a monster

With the Royal Rumble four weeks away John Cena still has no challenger and Row’s participants in the Rumble have yet to be announce, but as the Rumble ticks closer those to problems will be fixed. We do know that Chris Jericho will get on more shot at the World Champ as he takes on Cena in a submissions match for the title.

Also the battle for number 30 start Monday night as Raw’s Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, William Regal; Smackdown’s Big Show, MVP, The Brian Kendrick; and ECW’s Morrison and Evan Bourne battle it out over the next four weeks to see who will be the final man going into the Royal Rumble

And Randy Orton has complied quiet a group, now Orton and the Legacy look to take out anything standing in their way of greatness

Thoughts running through my head, people chattering about life, I almost had forgotten where I was. But that would have been to easy, to just forget where I was and just who I was with

Crap only water? I mean this meeting was sudden but to only want water? What is going on?

“So Paul, I needed to talk to you” Oh sh*t man barely a week on the job and he was already firing me, maybe I shouldn’t have been such a d*ck to Triple H….. na that was a rush, to tell the man who had caused me so much trouble the first time around, well let’s just say it was worth it.

“Alright Vince, what is it you need to talk about?” Crap, I’m gone; all I could think of was blowing myself up, just take him with me. The last thing that would go through his head would be his a**

“Well Paul, I have some news for you” Yep, now I wish the bomb was near, Yeah sure people would hate me, but then maybe one day they would realize that Vince drove me to do it…. Maybe “And what might this news be?” the words came out slowly and faintly “Well, I just got word that ****** and ********* are both coming back, and they are willing to do what you want, also a couple of other names have called and said they wanted to work with you” Vince spoke calmly, was I really not in trouble, was this all about some guys who wanted to work with me? Yes it’s true I am just that da*n good, but for Vince to call an emergency lunch with just the two of us.

“That’s fantastic, and well bring them in, and I will talk to them.” I hope I could fake that orgasm as well as Linda could “Well that isn’t all of the reason we are here. See Paul, you have yet to inform people on our direction or for that matter any storyline, I am getting a little worried” Drat, and the orgasm was gone just like that. I was at a loss for words, here I sat with my boss and he was mad at me not for doing bad things, but just not letting people mainly him in on what I was going to do with his company. “Vince, I totally understand, this is your company, and you want to know what the hell is going on. But I beg you give me one month where everything is a surprise until the day of the show and I promise it will keep fans interested. I have recently been in talks with Sci-Fi and My Network and seeing if we could now do ECW and Smackdown live. But I need you to trust me and after one month you don’t like how everything is going, well then you and I can sit down and discuss this together about what we should do and with who, but I need your trust first” Man I guess only two things can happen now, either A he tosses the water in my face and tells me to screw off or B my personal favorite he trust me. Wait is this even a verdict I want to hear?

“Okay, you have one month, and if at that time our ratings haven’t improved then I would like to be informed of everything, but only one month Paul, got it?” his voice was sympathetic but stern

“Yes Vince, I got it” what am I kidding myself, that’s all I could think of, is yeah I got it, man I really have become a little b*tch haven’t I….. Maybe it’s time, yeah that’s it, I now know what I have to do, it’s time to throughout the new, and come back with the old. It is time for Paul E. to start to think…. Wait I have to be reasonable, maybe Paul E. mixed with a little Paul Heyman. Best of both worlds, and none of the crap. Yeah that’s how I have to do it, I can’t let Paul E. consume me, and I have to let Paul Heyman speak to. Will I ever stop hearing two voices?

“Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first Raw of 09. I am Michael Cole alongside my broadcast partner Jerry Lawler, and King we have huge news tonight!” Cole forces out his words “Yes we do Cole, Stephanie McMahon has announced a new Raw G.M, and he or she is here in the building tonight!”

Just as King finished his statement John Cena’s music hits and out comes the champ to the ring

“Well King, that isn’t the G.M but it is our World Champ John Cena”

“The Champ is here!” Cena pauses for a moment to let the fans cheer “And tonight is the first Raw of the New Year, and tonight begins the Road to Wrestlemania 25 in Huston Texas! But before we get to Mania we need to figure out the Royal Rumble and just who the hell I am facing, I mean it could be JBL, HBK, HHH, Y2J, or even RKO. It could be a man with just a first name, or a man with one eyebrow, a man who has a lisp, or somebody who could just buy the title, it could be a Punk, or somebody who likes to dress up as other people. But one thing I do know is that at the Royal Rumble, I will walk in as the Champ and walk out the Champ!”

Cena pauses again for the crowd but then Legacy’s music hits and out comes Orton, Dibiase and Rhodes.

Cena you must be kidding me with this crap about you walking out of the Rumble as the World Champ, I mean let’s face it John, you are looking at the future World Champ and your opponent for the Rumble right now.” Orton and Priceless start to slowly make their way down to the ring and surround it

“Well then Orton, I can see you and your crew of misfits seem like you want to fight me, so why don’t you little b*tches get in this ring and let me hand you an a** whoppin your daddy’s should have given you!” Legacy slowly starts to enter the ring as Orton looks like he is in a trance. Before they can fully get in the ring and get to Cena music hits and Orton turns around to see the man standing at the top of the ramp.

“Randy, can you please stop, I would hate to have my World Champ hurt before the Rumble!” Cena looks on just as confused as Legacy as Cena mumbles yours “Oh, you haven’t heard Randy, you are looking at your new boss”

“Wow Cole, Eric Bischoff is once again the G.M of Raw” King in a shocked voice “King, I can’t believe it, I truly can’t believe it!” As both men look on in shock as well Eric continues with his speech

“See Cena, you say that you will walk into the Rumble as Champion and walk out as Champion correct?”

“Yeah Eric, I do see that happening, I see…..” Cena is cut off before he can finish by Eric

“Well, what makes you think you are even walking out of here tonight as Champion!?!” Orton now starts to get an evil smile on his face as he gets back onto the apron and enters the ring “Eric I would be glad to take this man’s title tonight!” Orton stares at Cena after the remark with an evil glare towards Cena

“Orton, I am amused by your offer, really I am, but you are not getting a shot at the title tonight, the man who will face Cena tonight is none other than Chris Jericho, oh and Cena, it will be in a Submission match! And Orton if you touch Cena tonight, I promise you that you will never get a title shot on Raw again!” Bischoff looks proud of himself as he walks away; Orton is pissed but eventually leaves the ring without confrontation.

“Man Cole I can’t believe what we just heard, Eric Bischoff is our G.M….. Again, and Cena and Jericho will battle tonight in an ultimate submission match for the World Title!”
“King I must say if tonight wasn’t already looking big, well then it just got bigger!”

Just as Shawn finishes his list of names he pulls out a piece of paper “What is that Shawn?” Shawn looks at the paper and then back up to Josh as he points to the paper “This thing?” “Yeah!” “Oh, this, ah, well, this is nothing really, it’s just a list of…” Shawn reaches to back pocket and when he brings his hand back it’s in a fist and then he becomes giddy “Accomplishment done by none other than me!” Shawn ungrips his fist and throws confetti up in the air “Let’s see, first…. Oh this was one of the classics, Marty Jannetty and myself debuted in the then WWF on July 7, 1988 and for 20 years since I have been nothing but the man, hey that’s a good nickname, the man, mark that down Joshy boy!”

“I’m glad you asked. The list of John Morrison accomplishments, and let me tell you, it’s far better than yours. See Shawn, you keep bragging about the rumble, and how you went in first and came out last, well this time at the Rumble, I am going in first, and I will come out last, and then at Wrestlemania in your hometown, I will walk out World Champ!” John gives a smirk towards Shawn as he flips his Tag Title around his right shoulder.

“So you think that you can walk in number one and walk out number one….Well then, let me add a new goal to my list, after I kick your boyfriend in the mouth tonight, at the Rumble I will make it my personal goal that I kick you in the mouth and over that top rope!” Shawn and Morrison stare at each other for a brief second until Morrison turns a leaves.

(Nice match to kick off the tournament, CM worked Regal most of the match and looked very impressive, CM Punk went to hit a GTS on Regal, but Regal got out of it and punched Punk in the back of the head, the ref had no other choice but to disqualify Regal for a closed fist punch)

“Well King, Punk moves on but Regal looks pissed”
“Yeah, but Regal is still Intercontinental Champ, so he can get over it”

Regal is pissed, and gets in the face of the ref, he then kicks Punk and applies the Regal Stretch to Punk who can do nothing but tap, Regal then breaks off the hold and gets back in the face of the ref and he declares that Punk tapped and he should be the winner, when the ref refuses Regal decks him and walks out of the arena, with the crowd chanting Regal sucks

The camera cuts to the back where Eric Bischoff is setting up his new office until Randy Orton barges into his office

“Bischoff, I want you to announce that I am the number 1 contender for the World Title, and I want you to do that right now!” Randy gives Eric his evil look, but he quickly calms down as Eric smiles at him “Randy, see last time I was in the WWE I was a guest Ref for you an Edge and helped you screw D-X, and then last time I was G.M, well you were a part of Evolution and you guys told me what to do left and right, well not this time Randy!”

Orton takes a deep breath “I’ll prove you wrong tonight Eric, and then next week you will walk down to that ring and announce me as the number 1 contender!”

Orton walks out of Eric office but runs into Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase Jr. who look at him in shame
“What the hell do you two want, a reward for being a bunch of losers?” Orton is now in pissed with himself and them “I mean why the hell are you two even around me right now, I don’t associate with losers”

Cody is the first to speak “Randy look, we’re sorry, we had them but Rey is tricky!” Orton gets into Rhodes face “Rey is nothing but a little masked man!” Ted pushes Rhodes aside and gets into Randy’s face “Last time I checked, that little masked man beat you one, two, three for the World Title at Wrestlemania!”

Orton shoves Ted “Don’t ever bring up bad memories, now I am willing to forgive both of you for tonight, but you need to prove to me that you two deserve to be in this, so next week not only do you two have to win, but I want you to find a new member, a member who isn’t going to bring me shame, now you have exactly one week to clean up your acts and prove that you are worth my time!” Orton walks away from Priceless who talk amongst themselves as the picture fades to commercial

(This was a match that did two things, first give Orton a quality victory, and second to see how hard I could truly push Kofi, Kofi had some nice offense in the match but Orton was too much for him as he hit the RKO in just under 10 mins)

We cut back to the back where we see Kane attacking people, Kane then comes across Candice Michelle, Kane stops and doesn’t attack her he simple stares and gives his evil laugh, then he grabs her by the hair and starts to drag her.

“We need help… Candice needs help, Cole someone has got to help her out, Kane is going to hurt her, I have got to help her”
King gets up and heads towards the back, only to be stopped by a wall of fire and Kane’s music as Kane walks out with Candice still draped over his shoulder. King doesn’t stop as he starts to pummel Kane with jabs, he gets Candice away from Kane only to have Kane take him out. Kane beats on King and throws him into the ring steps. Candice goes and grabs a chair and sneaks up behind Kane just as he is about to lay into King with a boot to the head against the steps. Candice hits Kane but the only effect was making Kane mad, he whipped around and caught the chair before Candice could hit him again and grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up

Dolph Ziggler comes running down the ramp and takes Kane out by the knees before he can do harm to Candice, Ziggler proceeds to hit Kane with everything in his arsenal until King cracks Kane over the head with a chair, then before Kane can get up, the lights cut out and when they come back on Kane is gone, and all that is left is a red mask sitting in the middle of the ring. Dolph goes to make sure Candice is alright as King picks up the mask only to throw it into the crowd, King goes back to his announcers chair after he talks to Candice

“King are you alright?” Cole in a panicked voice over what just happened, “Yeah Cole, cool your jets I am fine, I couldn’t let Kane hurt poor Candice, and thanks to Dolph for coming out and saving my butt!” King touching his head to feel for bumps as Cole continues talking “King, do you think you will be able to call the next match?” King looks at Cole and slaps him on the head “Of course you idiot!” both men chuckle

(Great match all the way around with both wrestlers getting a good amount of offense. Jericho dominated later in the match but another video distracted Chris enough for Cena to hit a throwback on Jericho and locked in the STFU for the win)

After the match Randy Orton and Legacy run down to the ring and attack Cena but Orton never touches him. Eric Bischoff comes out and puts a stop to it

“Orton, Orton, I can’t have you beating up my top guy, but I will give you your wish, at the Royal Rumble, John Cena will take on…… the winner of the Number 1 contender tournament, Randy, you will go against the likes of Santino Marella, HBK, and Batista, the winners of next week match will face each other the following week for the number 1 contender spot, have a nice week Randy!”

great show, but I think Eric's re-debut wasn't handled as well as I would of liked it but the show still sounded good.

A thing is with this diary is if you have too many people debut at once, it may kill the momentum of the current wrestlers.

But liking RVD's return, didn't like him leaving.

What would be cool, is if you debuted some random indy talent, and over a long while built him up to main event.

Just ideas though, and can't wait for ECW.

The reason I did the thing with Rock was more because my feud is Rock vs Jericho, but don't worry it will take awhile for Rock to come in to play.


And Bischoff's segments, weren't really meant to be special it was more just like him trying to be annoying like always, like when you get really pumped to see who the new G.M is and then we figure out it's Mike Adamle and all your feelings towards it are like what the ****. So I based it more off of just, hey I am back.

And just to let everyone know, ECW will be more of my breeder brand, I mean there will be good action but you will see just random people I am trying to see what I can do with.

One thing I know for a fact was Raw to me did well, I like Orton’s character and Cena to me gets shuffled down peoples throat but the crowd’s reaction seemed to be on his side

“Mr. Heyman?” Mike, Vince’s handpicked assitant for me, I don’t trust him and only think he is here to keep an eye on me, but maybe that’s just my being paranoid. Come on Paul get a hold of yourself, maybe smoking all those times with RVD and Sabu wasn’t too smart

“Yeah Mike?” In an aggravated voice, I knew why he was beeping in, he had the ratings, like I told myself, I’m not scared just anxious, breath Paul, just breath.

“I have your info you wanted, what should I do with it?” Where the hell does Vince get these, I mean what do you want me to do with it, I don’t cook it, poor some bafflou sauce on it and eat it, what the hell

“Oh my GAWD, he did it, Hardy managed to beat both me” Joey blurts out

“Joey, look at Henry, he’s pissed, but Hardy did it, he beat the Silver Back and his dumb mentor”

Henry is pissed as Hardy walks up the ramp. Henry goes and grabs a chair and gets into the ring, he walks over toward Tony who is trying to stop Henry, but it makes no difference as he snaps and destroys Tony with the chair

“We need help out here Paul, Tony is hurt badly” Joey can’t believe what has just happen

“Tony should have never tried for the pin Joey, I told you Mark Henry does not care for anyone but himself” Joey and Paul look on as EMT put Tony on a stretcher and the screens fades to black and a promo airs of Jack Swagger

“He was a dual sport athlete at the University of Oklahoma. He was an All-American and set the single season record for most pins. He came to the WWE for one thing” The voice stops and Swaggers can now be heard

“I will be a world champ, whether it’s the World Title, WWE Title, or the ECW title, I will have one around my waist” Swaggers voice stops and the other voice plays

“Matt Hardy, he wants you to know that you are on his hit list.”

The video cuts out with Swagger smiling the All-American smile.

“Eddie was a bum, and he couldn’t win by himself, he had to lie, cheat, and steal to get through life, Swagger uses his pure skill, but anyways moving on, in just under month the historical Royal Rumble will be here, and even though an ECW superstar hasn’t won it, I’ll bet a hundred dollars one will!”

“A lot, in my career, dude what the hell is wrong with you. All of a sudden you’re never going to lose again and you’re all into yourself?”

“Miz, listen I wasn’t saying that, I mean it’s going to be hard for people to beat me, but hey it could happen. But speaking of losing I can’t wrestle tonight, I have a appearance thing I have to be at, so you have to go into the match and pull one out for us.” Miz pushes Morrison

“What the hell are you talking about appearance, and it’s a handicap match, what the hell.” Morrison brushes off his chest where Miz touched “Dude it’s not you, but my agent says I have to go, so I am sorry you might lose tonight. Goodbye” Morrison walks out and Miz starts to toss furniture around the locker room

ECW didn’t go over the way I had planned, but I knew that. It will take some time to get ECW back to where it was, Swagger was brilliant in his match with Boogeyman and I could truly see this man one day being a star in this company, and the way Henry destroyed Atlas so I can get him off the air for good was brilliant as well

“Paul!?!” Bret shook me as I turned up to see that I was still in the creative meeting for Smackdown, I had almost forgotten that I changed the tape dates to Wednesday, to maximums profit and also give me some time to breath in the process

“Yeah Bret, sorry I was day dreaming” was I though, dreaming about what I could do still with the power I have, I already started to purge TNA and ROH plus some other companies along the way, I knew I was becoming hated but hey I have a business to run. I want and I need the best to do that. I’ve been through talent purging before, WCW and WWF did it to me, so why not when I could do it.

“Okay guys, we understand how the Hardy and Edge story is going to break down, now if this all goes right we can stretch it for a couple of months, I mean they have great history” it was true Edge and Jeff had been putting on matches together for almost 10 years now, and they do it well

“Paul, we found something interesting out at the house show last night, Triple H and Kozlov have excellent chemistry when teaming together.” Vickie said is a suttle voice, but now I had to ponder over this, Vlad and HHH as a team. It would piss HHH off so bad to be in a tag team, hm music to my ears

“Okay then, we need to put them together, we could name them Beauty and the Beast, USSR, Soviet America, something to play off the two, hell this could be great” I was foaming out the mouth for this, HHH would hate me for good, but this could be brilliant

Christopher Nolan giggled to himself, but it got louder he couldn’t help himself “What…what about the straight BA’s” Chris still couldn’t stop laughing “Or batman and boy wonder!” Chris was hysterical, for a man who barely talked in these meetings he had a mind that was pure gold.

“Bret call HHH right now, I want to pitch him this idea!” Everyone looked at me, some shocked by the fact that I was seriously going to run with this. Bret didn’t hesitate though; he dialed HHH’s number and put it on speaker

“Hello?” HHH picked up, he had no idea what was about to happen

“Batman, it’s the Joker, where’s boy wonder?” I couldn’t help but blurt it out, everyone laughed along, the mood was perfect

“What the hell are you talking about?” HHH was furious because he wasn’t in on the joke

“Well I just got word the you and Oleg make a pretty good tag team, so we have been pitching around ideas, some are Batman and the boy wonder, or the straight BA’s, now I want you to truly consider the Batman thing, think about it we could do back stage skits of you and him trying to save people, and you act all heroic and he just stands there not trying to be sneaky.” I could tell hunter was pissed, his breathing was rough and irregular, but I had just won

“You want me to act like some cape crusader, and run around backstage like a dumba**, Paul you have lost your mind.” I had, and he was right to a certain point that would be funny for a month, but I need something else, so as we talked we came up with a plan that even HHH liked, as did I. As the meeting came to a close we ran through the card and left slowly, I walked out to my car before I got in to drive home but then it hit me, Kozlov need a manger, someone who could talk for him, but who!?!

Edge and Chavo bash on Jeff, Edge then grabs the world title and sets up Jeff, but Matt Hardy runs down to the ring and hits a Twist of Fate on Chavo as Edge ditches.

Vlad dominated the whole match, Primo mounted no offense to speak of even when it looked like he could, Vlad would just flip it on him and hit a high impact move, and finally Vlad hit him with a Head butt to the Chest

Rey and MVP performed nicely with each other, both had equal amounts of Offense, with Rey hitting the 619 four different times for the win

Vickie gives the idea some thought “As much as that would be a nice rating draw, I have an even better idea. You and Vlad have been having some problems getting along lately, and Hunter I… I... I just can’t have people getting into arguments every week”

Triple H stops Vickie before she can finish “Arguments… where the hell have you been Vickie. Where were you earlier when your husband and Jeff where arguing? Do you have any idea how this business works? One wrestler talks bad about another, they argue, and then fight. It’s the blue print to any successful wrestling company” Triple H stops and rubs his goatee “No wonder Smackdown’s ratings have been in the toilet!”

“Very funny Hunter, here let me try. You want a title shot, well you got it. Next week right here on Smackdown, Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Colon Brothers for the WWE Tag Titles! Now how that for funny”

Hunter’s pissed, but before reacting he stops and smiles “That sounds great Vickie, I’ll see you next week!”

Good back and fourth match between both teams. The Hardy’s were stronger however with Edge having to somewhat carry Chavo. The ending saw Matt getting a hot tag and Edge getting a sneaky tag. Matt hit a Twist of Fate on Chavo again, but when he got back up Edge hit him with the Spear for the three.

Edge celebrates on his knees as Chavo and Matt are grounded. Jeff slowly walks behind Edge as Edge proceeds to stand up. Edge turns around to be met by left and rights from Jeff. The two battle it out in the ring as security and officials run to the ring to break it up. The show ends with Jeff running and flying over the top rope onto Edge and security.

After saving Candice Michelle from a vicious attack from Kane, Dolph Ziggler will now have to save himself as he will face Kane in a match

Also with the first round of the Battle for 30 finished we move on to the second round where the Big Show will take on Raw's straight edge superstar CM Punk.

With the announcement from Eric Bischoff concerning who will face John Cena at the Royal Rumble, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Santino Marella, and Batista prepare to do battle to become the number 1 contender. Who will win it all to face Cena at the Rumble?

Thank you, I put it on hold for a little so I could do somethings but I'm hoping to do 2 shows a weeks again, I'm half way done with Raw, so before Sunday is when it should be up


Also I turned ECW back into a B show because of the fact that Vince told me I couldn't hire any one in Cult or above (I still snuck a few in) so ECW will soon be just a feeder show to see what the young guys can do, and such talent as Matt Hardy, Finlay (maybe, I can keep him strong there and have him help train on the show as well), Mark Henry, and others will be leaving. Morrison and Miz have already been moved to Raw

WWE has come to terms with the release of

ECW writer Christopher DeJosephs (aka Big Dick Johnson), ECW ring announcer Justin Roberts, Raw Ring announcer Lilian Garcia, and The Great Kahli's manger Ranjin Singh

WWE wishes them best on their future endeavors


Many are shocked within the company about the release of Lilian Garcia, as she has spent so much time with the company, but with Paul Heyman believing Ring announcers aren’t as important anymore it was just a matter of time for her and Justin.

Also, it is being reported that Paul Heyman and Triple H sat down Tuesday in Paul’s office and had a meeting that lasted for over an hour, odd thing about this is WWE held drug testing this week, hmm makes us wonder.

Others news reports Jon Laurinatitis getting into a heated argument with a fan outside of Selland Arena after the ECW and Smackdown tapings, Paul was said to be upset about this as WWE has always tried to be fan friendly. No word on what punishment will hit John after this.

“Cole last week Orton thought he had that spot locked but our G.M, Eric Bischoff, flipped the table on him and announce this tournament.” Randy’s music hit and out comes the Legend Killer, with not to happy of a look on his face as he is handed a mic. “Speak of the devil Cole.”

Orton leaves the ring as we fade to commercial, which gives us a hype about the Royal Rumble. As we come back Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he heads to the ring with Candice Michelle as he gets ready for his match with Kane

“Last week Kane attacked Candice Michelle and well you stood up for her.” Video plays of last week with King coming to the aid of Candice which doesn’t work out to well, and gets saved by Dolph.

“Cole, in my whole life I have never seen a man with the nerve like Kane, and if it wasn’t for Dolph last week Candice and myself would have both been in trouble.” Kane’s music hits and out comes the Big Red Machine

Kane takes an early advantage in this match as he uses his power against Dolph’s smaller frame. Dolph couldn’t get any offense at first but slowly started to use his speed. Kane went for a couple of Choke Slams but was unsuccessful. He finally got Dolph set up for a tombstone, but Candice got up on the apron and started to undo the strings on her shirt, which gave Dolph enough time to escape and hit a Jumping Russian Leg Sweep for the win

Dolph and Candice celebrate as the make their way up the ramp as Kane can’t believe what has just happened. Kane gets out of the ring and starts ripping things apart, as he walks towards the back, the camera’s follow him and he is seen throwing stuff everywhere and screaming “Why…….. Why are you doing this to me, just leave me alone!” Then the lights cut out, and when they come back on Kane is gone, all that is left is Kane’s old mask on the ground.

Santino and Batista worked a nice match together which saw both get a nice amount of offense. Santino pulled antics during the match, including rolling out of the ring and asking the fans for tips on how to beat Batista. Finally Batista set Santino up for the Batista bomb but Santino weaseled out of hit for a flash pin and the win

Santino can’t even believe what has just happened and starts to go crazy and celebrating with the crowd.

“King, can you believe what just happened, Santino is moving on to the final round of the tournament!”

“I can’t believe that idiot just won, he’s acting like he just won the title”

Santino starts hugging and kissing random people, even held a baby and kissed it, while Batista stands in the ring trying to figure out what has just happened

We tune to the back where we see Shawn Michaels lacing up his boots getting ready for his match. The door swings open and in come John Morrison

“Yeah right Shawn, you’re to old to be a World Champ, Randy’s gonna punt you in the head. Then at the Rumble it will be my pleasure to throw you over the top rope.”

“Is that so?” Morrison then gets into Shawn’s face “Yeah, that’s so!” Shawn backs off and scratches his head he turns and walks away as Morrison grins. SUPERKICK! Shawn lays Morrison out with some Sweet Chin Music

“Son, I am just that da*n good!”


“Well, Morrison just learned what the bottom of HBK’s boot looks like” King is laughing after what just happened

“King, HBK is many thing but I think Morrison is gonna have to be careful when messing with him. Shawn can be very dangerous.”

“Yeah he can just ask Chris Jericho!”

"Folks I have just been informed that the winner of this up coming match will get a title shot next week against William Regal for the Intercontinental Championship"

Ted looked Excellent in this match against Shad. He used his technical background to get Shad to the mat a couple of times. Then Shad started to impose his power on Ted and gain momentum, but it didn’t last as Ted was able to hit him with the Million Dollar Dream.

Again. You see Shawn and I have had our battles in the past, but each time….. I was the one walking away with the WWE Title. I am a two time WWE Champ, and at the Rumble, I will officially become a two time World Champ. So if I have to punt Shawn in the head tonight and finally end the old mans career than be it, then I go on to next week and finish off Santino. And then at the Rumble I end the joke of what John Cena calls a title reign, with one…swift…kick!” Orton stares intensely into the camera as Mathews backs away and we fade to commercial

CM was a little bit more up for this match than Evan was last week, he looked stronger. He took Show to the mat a couple of times and worked on his legs, but show would easily power out of hit, Show then through Punk into the ropes and when Punk bounced back he connected with a Knock Out

“John, what the hell?” Miz yells from behind. “Oh, Miz there you are, I thought I was gonna have to carry these bags all by myself” John then unloads his to bags and puts them onto Miz who can’t believe John and throws them off of him. “What’s up with you lately Morrison, acting like you’re the hottest thing in the world, last week with ECW and showing up at last minute after I did all the work, and now this, we’re supposed to be bros remember, or has the hair gel gotten to your brain?”

“First off, it’s not hair gel, it’s muse, second I am sorry you feel that way Miz, how about you and I go to the club and I’ll by us some drinks.” Morrison puts his arm around Miz, but when the camera pans back we see Morrison taking the money out of Miz’s bag. “Alright Morrison, but you gotta stop this crap.”

“You’re right Miz, you’re my best friend.” The two walk away as Miz carries all the bags

Shawn and Orton put on the match of the night which drew an A rating. They both had ample amount of offense and reversing each others finishers. Orton tried to punt HBK late in the match but missed and gave Shawn enough time to hit an Atomic Drop, and tune up the band for the win

Cody and Ted run down to the ring and start to attack Shawn, they set HBK up for a punt to the head but Cena’s music hits and out runs the champ as Orton dips leaving Ted and Cody to battle Cena.

Cena gains the upper hand and knocks down Cody and set up Ted for a FU, Shawn gets up and stops Cody from stopping it by giving Cody some Sweet Chin Music just as Cena hits the FU. Cena and Shawn shake hands as we once again end the show with Randy’s pissed off face fading on the screen

Mark Henry recently put on wwe.com that he wants a shot at Matt Hardy and his ECW title. He said that he will prove it this week against the Boogeyman, and that if his demands aren't met he will leave for another brand.

Also the undefeated Jack Swagger will take on the fighting Irishman Finlay

“Um, you know… Not many people know this but when I beat Tazz at Cyber Slam in 2000, I was pretty pissed, the reason being was because I wanted to go my entire ECW career without winning the title.” Dreamer stops for a second as the fans cheer for him “But this is completely different, this is something I want to do, so Matt Hardy, I know you’ve been dealing with the likes of Mark Henry, Finlay, and Swagger and your plate is pretty full, but I have an offer for you. Tonight in an Extreme Rulez match, I want to challenge you for the ECW Title and if I win I get the title, but if you win, I will retire.” Tommy gets a little choke up as he speaks and the crowd begins to boo “See Matt, I am confident that I can and will beat you for that title, so I am putting it all on the line.” Dreamer drops the mic and leaves the ring

“What the hell just happened Joey? What is going through the mind of Dreamer, this just doesn’t make since.” Heyman is otherwise speechless about the challenge laid out by Tommy. “Well, I guess the only thing we can pray for is that Dreamer knows what he’s doing.” ECW fades to commercial that hypes the Royal Rumble

When ECW comes back on the air, Nunzio is standing in the ring as Paul Burchill’s music plays

“Matt, first off what are you feeling after what you just heard?” Grisham points the mic towards Matt as he exhales “Todd, I’ve got to be honest, I’m shocked, I mean I get Dreamers confidence I really do, but to put your career on the line like that, it’s just shocking!”

“So Matt what is your answer?”

“Dreamer I hope you made the right choice, because no matter what I don’t back down from a challenge, and tonight I’m gonna bring it, just like I bring it every time, and when I beat you I’ll just have to live with it, and so will you.”

Hardy walks back into his locker room and shuts the door as the camera fades to another commercial

Jack Swagger vs. Finlay

A nice match between two technically gifted wrestlers, Finlay started off with all the momentum in the match, but that slowly turned to Swagger who finally put Finlay away.

Boogeyman came out to his usually weird self and Mark Henry was having nothing of it. Both men used power with very little wrestling happening between the two. Mark Henry won it with a Worlds Strongest Slam

“Tommy we’ve been friends for over ten years and during that time you’ve done some crazy sh*t but this has to be the dumbest of anything you’ve done…. What in the hell are you thinking, you career for what a shot at what.... the title?”

“No faith? Tazz I know what I am doing, trust me” Tazz is speechless he can’t believe what he’s just heard “Fine then I’m coming to ring side.”

“No you’re not; I need to do this by myself.”

“Well then good luck.” Both men hug as Tommy proceeds to head to the ring

“Paul, we’ve both know Tommy for a long time but I can honestly say that I don’t understand this, Dreamer has everything to lose in this match.”

“Yeah, but he has everything to win Joey. Dreamer helped me run this company along with the likes of you and those dam*…. Well you know. Dreamer has something up his sleeve…. At least I hope so.”

Dreamer’s music hits and he walks down to the ring with a huge ovation but brings a shopping cart full of toys, a Dreamer chant is started before Matt comes out and cause everyone to pause for a moment before Matt’s music hits to break it up.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Matt Hardy

It took about a minute for this match to start as Matt kept trying to talk Dreamer out of it. Dreamer wasn’t having any of this and clocked Matt in the left cheek with a right hook and the match was underway. Dreamer had most of the offense to start off and hit Matt with a DDT giving him enough time to go get some toys from under the ring. As Matt started to get back up Dreamer found a kendo stick and did his signature holding of the stick with arms stretched out why, but Matt was able to hit Dreamer with a baseball slide. Matt then picked up the kendo stick as Dreamer was getting up but threw it to the side and DDT Dreamer himself on the outside.

Matt then grabs a garbage can and sets it up on the outside corner of the ring and picks up Dreamer and puts his head against it. Matt backs up and charges but dreamer moves and Matt eats the can. Dreamer finds the Kendo stick again and starts whipping Matt while he’s on the ground, Dreamer sets Hardy up against the barricade, and walks to the shopping cart, Dreamer revs the engine and takes off and barrels right into Hardy who is know gushing blood, Dreamer rolls Hardy into the ring and grabs a chair and slides it in himself.

Matt used what ever juice to get up and kick Dreamer in the gut and hit a twist of faith on the chair

1…2… kick out

It wasn’t enough, both men lay there with neither moving, Dreamer is the first one to show movement and slowly drags himself over to the chair and begins to stand up, he sets the chair over Hardy’s chest and begins to climb the turnbuckle to the top, Dreamer jumps for glory and hits a frog splash on a defenseless Hardy, Dreamer felt the pain himself though but makes the cover

1…2… kick out

Close but Hardy had just enough, Dreamer can’t believe it and starts to argue with Ref Jim Korderas about the count, Hardy mean while starts to stand up and grabs the chair, Dreamer turns around and is met by a steal chair to the gut and Matt winds up for the home run swing but Dreamer ducks and Matt hits Korderas, Dreamer reacts quickly and hits the Dreamer Driver,

1…2…3

But there is no ref to count it, Heyman then gets up from the announce table and heads to the ring to get Korderas to get up, but when Jim doesn’t Paul looks around and drops to his knees and begins the three count

1…2…

Hardy kicks out! Paul and Dreamer both can’t believe this, Dreamer then grabs Hardy and begins to set him up for another DDT and connects, Heyman drops to his knees but Dreamer doesn’t cover, instead he goes out side the ring and grabs a bag and a chair, Dreamer throws the chair over the ropes and slides back into the ring with the back, Dreamer then places the chair in the middle of the ring and opens the bag and pours it onto the chair

“Oh my Gawd!” Dreamer pours thumb tacks onto the chair and picks up Matt and stands over the chair, Dreamer goes for the DDT…. “Oh my Gawd, Hardy reverses, Twist of Fate!” Hardy hits the Twist of Fate, but Jim is still knocked out

“What do you do Paul?” Joey yells out, Heyman stares at the situation as Hardy goes for the cover. Paul is torn but drops to his knees

1…….2…………… Paul brings his hand down but stops before it hits the mat, Matt looks up and yells out “Come on Heyman!” Paul’s hand taps the mat for the third count ….3

Winner by Pinfall: Matt Hardy

Matt rolls off of Dreamer and crawls to the corner and sits, Heyman sits on his knees with a depressed look on his face, Dreamer starts to roll around and looks up and sees Matt sitting in the corner holding his title, and Paul on his knees sulking.

“I’m sorry Dreamer!” Paul blurts out and Dreamer starts to stand Dreamer walks over and Paul stands and Dreamer gives him a hug, the crowd is silent for a second, and no one is sitting, then another Dreamer chant breaks out.

Matt stands up and walks over to Dreamer, the two men shake hands and Hardy raises Dreamers hand, they embrace for a hug and then Hardy rolls out of the ring and heads towards the back as Dreamer stays in the ring, the crowd is still cheering and chanting as Dreamer stands by the ropes and just looks around with tears rolling down his face, he then steps out of the ring and heads to the back, shaking everyone’s hand as he head back there, right before he leaves he stands at the top of the ramp

Tommy Dreamer gave it his all, but in the end the final hand drop was not on his side.

Tommy has announced his retirement and will now become a road agent for the company; also ECW next week will be a dedication show to the ECW legend.

After the announcement last week from Edge that he would be challenging Jeff Hardy for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble, the Rated-R superstar is back with another big announcement this week.

Also Vickie Guerrero decides to give Triple H his wish, and put him in a title match. Triple H should have read the fine print first as he and Vladimir Kozlov will take on the Colon Brothers for the Tag Titles

Finally, with Edge throwing matches together lately he has decided to make Jeff Hardy's road to the Rumble a living hell... literally. The Rainbow–Haired Warrior will take on the Deadman in a Cage match.
