this was brought up, but i cannot see where the legthly post on it is. What was said there was that MMA is taking over Boxing anyway, so why spend time on a dieing sport, there is a MMA game, maybe you should just do as i did and admit that Boxing does not have much of a future and start watching MMA or maybe K-1

K-1 is standup - muay thai, kickboxing, etc. The purpose is to determine the world's best standup fighter.

On a side note, many thought that person was Badr Hari and he just got destroyed by Alistair Overeem, in a K-1 match.

I would like to play a boxing simulater but it does seem like it would be a little hard to pull off. Overeem owned him man. Alistair always looked good at LHW but he never seemed to be able to handle fighting the top guys but since he's put the extra weight on and got comfortable at HW he looks fantastic. I wish Affliction wouldve signed him to fight Josh Barnett for the next shot at Fedor instead of Ivel.

Agreed, although he dominated most of the top guys he fought at LHW until he gassed after about two or three minutes. He's just way too big to make that weight, he came in at 250-ish for the Hari fight. I don't know about Affliction, but I did read somewhere that he is going to UFC 93 to meet with Dana White about signing with the UFC.

Anyways, about a boxing game, I don't see why there couldn't be a WMMA style one with Golden Boy, Top Rank, etc as the promotions but cross promotions would be a must for a game like that.

I like k-1 but i think "K-1 game" will be the same or similar to WMMA. Who have a idea how it looks?

Like they say here... Boxing is in huge decline. MMA is taking over. Therefore, I'd see no use in doing a boxing sim. But it won't take a lot of work given the similarities with WMMA, but not a lot of people will buy it to be honest. I'd give more chances on an college wrestling game, though those chances are also slim. :)
