Mafia: Springfield Under Siege [Sign-ups]

Happy new year ladies and gentlemen...it is the pleasure of Glotnot, Slim Jim (sorta) and myself to ensure that even mafia-wise, 2009 starts with a bang :cool:

42 roles, really no give or take in that department, if the limit is exceeded then people willing to step in as replacements would be more than welcome as well, especially if they follow the game as it goes along.

This will start pretty much as soon as the spots are filled, as everything is now in place, and circumstances with how the south park game has gone and my own schedule as far as returning to uni goes mean that there's a chance this will begin before that has come to a full conclusion.

So with all of that said, let's get some names down ;) At the risk of becoming a little giddy, this has been in the making for almost a year (indeed a much more primitive version of it was run elsewhere last February) and throughout that time, between the three of us ideas galore have been thrown around...leading to it becoming something that has all of us, and I hope soon enough each of you, well and truly excited :D

To be honest, it's so different now that he could go read the entire thing and still not have an advantage. Even the character list has changed quite a bit, and the structure is pretty much like a brand new game.

Nah sorry ZTR but I disagree, there's still enough similarities for someone who played the game or who has read it heavily to gain an unfair advantage, and so I'm not comfortable with you having the spot ahead of others who will likely wish to do so in the hopefully-not-too-distant future :D

I mean, other people played smaller versions of Lakeside and no one complained about it.

This is different, they were sequels with survivors maintaining roles etc...the other game in question here had 36 roles and a similar initial premise, and so on. Maintain that I don't think it would be fair, and with only 3 spots left (1 of which is reserved pending confirmation when the other two are filled) they ought to be filled soon enough and we'll be ready to go pretty much straight away :D
