View Full Version : NFL Head Coach 09-The Brad Childress Story
dtrot021
01-11-2009, 12:28 PM
I walked into Minnesota to try and become one of the best coaches ever. Now entering my third year as the head coach of the Vikings, I've tried hard to put my losing ways aside, and become a great coach. Will I stay with Minnesota, or will I leave to pursue other endeavors? I'm Brad Childress, and this is my story:
2006: Vikings; 6-10; Didn't Make Playoffs
2007: Vikings; 8-8; Didn't Make Playoffs
2008: Vikings; 9-7; Didn't Make Playoffs
2009: Browns; 0-0; ?
Total Current Coaching Record: 23-25-0

You know, I considered doing a dynasty w/ NFL Head Coach as well. As glitchy and unsupported as the game is, for all its' faults, I love that game. Then my 360 red-ringed.
Wishing you luck on this.

Thanks man. Luckily enough for me, my 360 has never had the "Red Rings of Death. Guess I'm fortunate. I've had it since Easter '08.
Yes, NFL Head Coach 09 may be a glitchy game and stuff, but it is one of the most detailed EA Sports has made a game.

SUPER BOWL XLIII
Thirty-two teams battled off for football supremacy. Only sixteen made it into the playoffs. Those sixteen battled it out until there were only two.
Those two are the Saints and the Colts. The Saints have NEVER won a Super Bowl before, yet the Colts won Super Bowl XLII and one way back as the Baltimore Colts. The Super Bowl has been repeated eight times. Can the Colts be the ninth team to repeat?
The Colts are looking to repeat their great year last year, where Payton Manning shut up all of the critics and won the big one. Now, can he repeat?
The Saints have been a dark horse in the playoffs this year. They even upset the 16-0 Tampa Bay Buccaneers to make it into the Super Bowl. Now can Sean Payton win his first, or will Tony Dungy win his second? Will the Saints upset yet another team, or will the Colts repeat the Super Bowl win?

I've actually thought about that...
BTW, Gator, Warner came for an easy ten million. We had 26 million in the cap.
On a side note, Minnesota is my real life favorite team. It was hard to figure out if I wanted to leave, but I didn't have enough cap to re-sign some good players. The new head coach of the Vikings? Cam Cameron! *laughs*
Another funny thing is that Minnesota has become a short-lived Cleveland rival, one of my goals is that "The fans want you to crush Minnesota in Week 11." lol.
