Should We have a request thread for WMMA ?

Here are the Pros :

1. Quality renders could be produced
2. It would get the GDS community involved for creating characters.

Cons :

1. As it did in the TEW thread, It could get out of hand, and very quick.
2. Render Burnout, Constant Render Rushing could be tiring for the renderers

So what we should do, is vote !

I don't mind making renders for people, as long as they don't expect anything fancy or high quality.

You may want to add into the cons Render Burnout.

If your having to rush out renders for people constantly requesting then you get burnt out really fast

I also went no. I've never been asked to do a render for someone, but I did used to take requests for TEW alt-pics. I know how much time, pride and effort goes into these things. Feeling obligated to churn them out to fill requests would make it seem like a chore.

It doesn't really matter what anyone but the creators say- I voted no, I think they do a good enough job as is ;)

I would like a request thread. I don't expect sme supernatural renders, it's just nice to help to fill out a weightclass especially since the featerweights are in WMMA2, but it depends on the ppl who do it if they want to. No knock on the creators, but to me there are never too many fighters to choose from.

i voted yes. the creators dont have to do them.
it shows generosity when they do. for us guys that cant do renders for ourselves, it makes things easier. most of us are grateful, me included, but some can be *******s. but theres a simple solution to that, dont do their requests. wtvr u guys decide to do is ur decision tho.

I voted yes.

I don't feel I have to do any renders. If I don't feel like I just don't do them. It's my spare time, and just because someone tells me what he would like me to do, doesn't mean I do it.

If I'm alone, the request thread won't mean anything, though. I'm not gonna sit and do mutiple renders everyday, so if I'm alone the thread would quickly die.

I don't think it would hurt to have the thread. If you want to do a render, do it. If you don't want to, don't do it.

I voted yes, just for the reason that people are going to ask for renders whether there is a thread or not. Best to just put all the requests in one topic.
