I am sure TOS and Modern Warrior mods will continue. you got to give them time though. there is alot more detail with the new game for making a real world mod. I know I don't want them to rush. Take your time guys and make sure the product is as great as your others!!

i wasnt sure. after all the people that rided them about it (myself included) i thought they quit. people got out of hand and got sick of waiting. idk what possessed them to not show some proof, but people freaked out about it. but thats cool. how far through it are they?

i dont plan on buying wmma2 until theres a real world mod out for it, so i'll be following this section carefully for a while. saying that, dont rush a mod to try and get it out quicker!

Modern Warriors will release a version for WMMA2. It will probably take a while, since I didn't have the opportunity to review the game before release. I may put out a version that is essentially just the converted WMMA database with a few tweaks right away to tide people over, and then do a complete release when I get through it all. Any feedback would be good.

i converted the MW mod, updated some of the records and edited some of the fighters (added backgrounds for certain guys and changed their submission stats (like 100 leglocks for imanari)) but mostly only the guys i planned to use, wasnt hard to do and didnt take very long

I converted modern warriors 4 and just made a few changes to worker popularity. One thing I noticed in wmma with this data is there are a ton of submission ending to fights. I just did ufc 100 and 7 out of 11 fights ended in submission. Is that just because this is a converted database or is it that similar in the default data as well?

If you're setting everything up in the proper folders (ie, moving the pictures to the separate pictures folder, and then assigning them properly in the editor)... then you're using an old version of the game. Adam has patched this to fix it.

Assuming everything gets set up properly, if you're using the latest patch, you will have no issues with the pictures.

I really like woman MMA and a real world mod having a decent number of woman would be cool.

WMMA mods are all good and I'm asking as I'm quite interested in one if it is a possibility you considered.

I'm pretty sure the pictures issue was addressed in one of yesterday's patches, but there were four of them, if I'm correct.

Adam's already released one today. I would advise downloading that. You can get it in the Tech Support forum.

Did you set it to "faces only" in the option screen under "Fighter display"?

Do you have pictures installed in a folder similar to this one:

C:\Program Files\GDS\WMMA2\Pictures\mw 4\Faces


And set it in the database so that the right picture folder is used:

Main Menu -> Editor -> Edit Database -> Database Information -> Picture Folder


* It seems a recent patch "might" something and reinstalling the database could be required if the folder doesn't appear anymore. You can copy the data you already have in the older folder though. I had to do it to get my picture folder working again.
