in fact, i thing selling day would run more smoothly if the game would be released at the American midnight point. When the Europeans are sleeping. That way, the code requests will be divided into two, which would obviously reduce the work load. :)

no way that i'm waiting for this game. Not that it's not worth waiting for, no, quite the contrary. But it's just silly staying up late for a game to be released, buying it, and realizing it's 4 at night and you should go to bed. Sounds a bit retarded... :p

No. We never announce the time, otherwise we get a lot of geniuses sitting pressing Refresh every five seconds around that time, which ultimately slows and crashes the server.

Good point. I'm willing to wait for it though. I'm a little busy this week anyway so I won't have too much time to play. At the same time, I'm really looking forward to it.

If i remember right, the last release was at 4pm GMT but im sure they will check server activity and release accordingly

I guess that the experience with WMMA2 gets better the more you get into it and the more you learn from the game: The more you focus on fighter styles, records and statistics, the more you will get from the game as a reward.. But still. Don't know.

I had the day off from work today so needless to say it was a long day full of frequent visits to GDS, hoping that maybe the game would have been released early. I am back at work tomorrow though so hopefully the game will be out by the time I get home.

I don't think that would be a problem. There's plenty to get out of the game, but I would argue you might possibly enjoy it a little more with a more thorough knowledge of MMA (particularly the play by play).

That was exactly the thing I did! Sure I had heard it before but somehow now I really wanted to know what that was. Same goes for the omoplata or whatever it's called. Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of the terms used and understand the pbp but. Don't know yet. :) It's the first time with Adam's games that I've had this problem, whether or not to buy the game (With WMMA series). I've always bought TEW immediatly when it came out and WreSpi II. I kind of missed the first one but have enjoyed the second one to this day in fact.

Playing a (good) sim is an outstanding way to learn about a sport you have little prior knowledge of. I learned everything I know about soccer/football from Football Manager, and I expect this game to teach me a bit about MMA.

This is the first GDS game that I am going to break down and get. I have been lurking around for a bit and almost got the first WMMA, but after seeing that the release for this game was so close, I decided to hold off. I can't wait to get the full version of this game. As others have said, I am tired of just doing one month over and over again.

I know what you mean. There is nothing worse than finding a great young fighter and begining to plan out how you are going to build him up, only to remember it is a one month demo :mad:
