Info

BlooSkin is a new WMMA2 skin, intended to be simple and easy on the eye.

This skin replaces files in the Screens, Graphics, Buttons and Taskbars folders.


Installing

Download the Zip file, and extract it into your WMMA2 Directory, overwriting all files when prompted. Make sure you keep the folder structure intact.

This download is a single, 6MB zip file. The links have been updated as of 10th April 2009 to include "Start Timer" and "Stop Timer" buttons, which were missing from the original release (due to me creating the skin on a very early trial version of the game).

Note

This is my first attempt at skinning WMMA2, therefore if there is any parts that I have accidentally missed, or if there is any typos/errors, please reply to this thread and let me know.

Wow. This looks amazing! The smooth, blue skin and buttons look really slick and I actually like the letters over the stars I currently have installed. This will definitely be my new skin of choice. :D

Probably the best skin I've seen so far. It is easy on the eyes, has a sleek design and also looks very good. Certainly a skin I'll be using for a long time. :)

Now ya just need to tackle the website screen. The most difficult screen to tweak me thinks.

It is.

My thinking with the website screen was that the text on it makes reference to blurcat.com throughout, so it might as well stay looking like a website. I did try to smarten up a couple of the bits of text (such as the main page title and the upcoming events, as they weren't antialiased) but beyond that it ended up staying fairly similar as I think the website screen looks pretty decent without much done to it.

Thanks for the good feedback so far, glad to see some people will be using it :)
