TEW has one so why not WMMA.
Rick Stanley retired in August 2000, and became president of Tapout Promotions in February 2001.
Stanley known for his punching power is president of a company who's name signifies submissions

Sammy Gaffican just turned down a contract extension. He wanted more and more win bonus, I think I did raise it up to 70 or 80 and still he wouldn't sign. What an ass. Darn it!

Rav Kapur (who I was grooming for a shot at Foster's HW title) tested positive for roids and was suspended for a year. Not really a strange event but it is the first time it happened to me so far in WMMA 2.

He has been plagued with camp issues and his last 3 fights have been without a camp. Some of his losses include Lermontov(twice)(Knock-out both times),Grey(45 second submission),Stiles (Decision),Brockett(Knock-out), Denare (Knock-out)
This play through has been a little bit weirder than others I have played. Fezzik has two loses and both are to Tim Boyer.

Heiko Pander just missed weight for a title shot against Li-Kong Ho! Never had that happen in my league.

He's finally broken his streak to bring his in game record to 2-24 (all time record 39-36), he went 8 and a half years without winning a fight!
Well, his name was Brendoen JOB despite this not being pro wrestling. :P

This one confused/angered me.
Li-Kong Ho and Sukarno are both 100% High Level International in Asia, so I decided to have them fight in China. The show drew 900 fans and barely above a 100,000 buyrate!

How big is your popularity in China ?

Low Level National, but still I think it should have been higher. That would have been as big as Bruce Lee fighting Muhammad Ali, no way it would've drawn 900 people in reality.
Not making any complaints about the game at all btw, it would have been smarter to do it in America where they are both popular and I'm mid level Inter-National.

Well that depends on what you want from that show - cos it is far easier to get an "excellent" show in Asia given the popularity you stated - and that excellent show will then boost your USA popularity (along with everywhere else!) Just need to balance popularity gain with how much money you want / need to make!

Yamazaki finally retired in mine, at age 47 with a 54-37-1 record. He got lucky that some small promotions opened up and he got to fight regen cans.
Bae Yoon is not so fortunate. As my prelim hobo he is currently rocking an 8-43 record.

And I doth quote the help file when I say:
It is very important to understand what makes a good show; it is not based on how exciting the fights were! A show’s rating primarily reflects how much the fans wanted to see it (“the anticipation level”), and is then altered slightly based on how exciting the show was in terms of fight quality. Therefore it is better to have a dull fight between two mega-stars in the main event than an awesome fight between two nobodies.

ive noticed the show ratings are usually based on how popular the main event and co-main event bouts are.
ive gotten an excellent rated main event, but because it was two basically unknown guys the show got a really low rating

Well this is def. odd. Esp for something that is not suspose to be common place. I just had THREE people fail the drug test after my latest event. Two men and one female. And the kicker is this is Ichibei Ryusaki's second time to fail the drug test.

I find it funny when people with 0-0 records announce that they are retireing. What exactly do they think they are retireing from....training?
