He's up to 3-0 with me in my game starting from nothing... I'm torn between trying to protect him so I can make him a star, or throwing him to the wolves to see how he copes against my largely strike based guys. I just can't decide what to do.

Ground fighters are king in WMMA 2. You have to be a lot more careful about protecting stand up fighters versus ground fighters.

It's really awesome how people like pure ground guys like Heikichi Shimizu were cans in WMMA1 but now are gods in WMMA 2.

i noticed

li-kong ho is a beast in my game

he is 27-0 and has lost several rounds, but soon as he goes to the ground he submits everybody

i had him to 5-0 and then gave him some legit competetion and he folded horribly :(

Yeah, I am protecting Huang and Schimizu right now.

I was trying to protect Shimizu, put him against Pirmin Zubriggin, and Shimizu tried to stand with him the entire fight, ended up losing a decision, man I was mad. Shimizu has blackbelt takedowns while Zubriggin has a white belt sprawl, Shimizu would have mounted him + armbarred him in a minute!
