I think alot of people will probably not like this attempt at Mario de Souza, but I didnt have any paler skin color and i think he's back in the game. If it doesnt work, just use it for someone else.

Great renders Bull, but I'm not exactly buying them for the characters in question. But like you say, new characters then.

As for the skin, you can always edit the colour slider somewhat. In my experience that's not always a garantee for solid results, but you can always experiment. :p

I always saw Newton as the "black Koscheck", and his hair is too much changed for that. This, of course, is completely personal. De Souza's eyes could use some work, apart from the colour you already mentioned. But like I said, great renders. Rerendering is a difficult job. Mine also didn't really turn out perfect.

Personally, I like it a lot. It's one of the few that I'll actually use as a replacement. I love all of these re-renders, but I still use 95% of them as new fighters, just for the sake of increasing my numbers (can't stand to use fighters without pictures). I think there are only a dozen or so that I use for their intended purpose. Ziskie, Foster, Hughes, Garner, etc.

But yeah, I like what you did with De Souza. I feel like it captures the 'essence' of him, and looks better overall, which is all that really matters.

Sander Schiller could use a re-render, just to look a bit less choppy, same with Saladin and Beau Butte. could someone maybe do these for me? Beau Butte is based off Butterbean if that helps. You'd be my hero, but if not thats okay too, they could just use a tune up.

Really like the new lights you've got going there, Bull. Mike Watson looks awesome, and the Raul Hughes render is great. I'm still quite partial to London's interpretation of Hughes, but this one is a very fine render all the same.

Loving the new version of Watson. I think that's the best one yet, even compared to your previous re-render. I agree with Scottie that London's Hughes is my personal favorite, but objectively I think that one is equally good, and works much better if you want something that's more faithful to the original. Personally I'll be turning it into a new fighter, but he'll have to be an elite guy to be worthy of that render. :D

If anyone has other requests, just ask. I tend not to re-make ones I don't think need re-rendering - i.e. some of the newer ones or the older classics that have character I don't think I can reproduce (Tadamasa Yamada and Chuck Dooley for example). Like as much as I like Bull's new version of Toby Sorkin, I don't really think it needed an update (I think the original was his anyway).

IMO neither Spencer Rubenstein or Mason Archer really need an update.Niko Soldo though if done right could be a good choice for a bad ass re do.If you didn't mind Bull I wouldn't mind a convert of that Snorri Gunnarsson he looks really good.If you guys are taking request I wouldn't mind seeing a before and after of Solomon Austin.It would be interesting to see him in shape.

Thanks Scottie! Very nice interpretation. Fits the profile slightly better than the original render, if you ask me. I always had a lot of trouble believing that Kanchelskis was only 25 years-old at the start of the game.

The new Brian Claremont is spot-on, Bull. I liked the old render a lot, but I still had to replace it, because the new one looks even better and it's too similar to turn into a new fighter.

Glad you like the new Claremont, especially considering the original was my render anyway so I kinda to creative freedom to redo him how I wanted. ;)

Moving on took some creative liberties with this one also so I figured I post a test before converting so if people don't care fore it, I'll change it a bit and send it to the regular render thread.

Kanchelskis is absolutely wonderful - I like the original but, like Iceisle said, the original doesn't look like somebody in their mid-twenties. If we're throwing out requests, I'd really like to see another interpretation of Terron Cabal, personally.

Great work, London. I've been turning most of these into new fighters, and I now have the 6 male divisions up to 300 fighters (plus about 50 Super Heavyweights). Only 242 for the two female divisions, but that's more than enough.

When I was looking through the WMMA2 Render Thread for any that I hadn't used, I saw some of your early posts like this one:

I bet you wouldn't have believed at the time that you'd end up being one of the best renderers on the site.:D

I have used the weidtverse and eyeball's character pack to add to the main gaming world to have a stacked selection of fighters. It'll be interesting to see what your mod has to offer and if I can fit it in. :)

Per division, but I was just talking about the entire database I'm using, not 300 additional people. I use a modified C-Verse with extra fighters from Afroduck's Redone mod (edited to fit the default divisions), and I've just been editing that to my liking and adding onto it as much as possible.

I've sent less finished versions through PM before, and I'd like to pick out my original characters and release them as a mod someday, but I'm hesitant to do so because I've read that some renderers don't like having their work reposted. In most cases I couldn't even say who made what, so it's simply too much of a hassle.

Anyway, sorry to derail the thread a bit. Thanks for the renders! :p

Well, for what it's worth, my renders are free to use by any modmakers. That's why I created them. :)
