I'm looking to start a new diary but I'm having a lot of trouble to get a product I like. I was wondering if anyone had a good idea which way I should go. I want te product to be pretty much like ECW back in the day just less hardcore. I want it to have a good mixture of high flying, hardcore and technical wrestling with some entertainment thrown in. I was wondering what my best option is. Thanks to anyone who could help me out.

Just product or promotion? If product, you should go something cult, modern and hardcore, with some risque too.

I would suggest Modern at High or Key Feature (fast-paced matches, good blend of flying and chain wrestling/technical wrestling), at least a pinch of Pure, maybe around Low or Medium (old-school submission/grappling work, has a tendency to make sponsorship difficult and restricts TV slots at higher levels which is why I suggest a smaller amount of it, also somewhat slow-paced), and I wouldn't put Hardcore at more than Medium (has a tendency to make sponsorship difficult, can restrict TV time slots if too much in a product).

Maybe it's just me, but I love adding some Realism (fans want realistic-looking matches, workers with high intensity and stiffness tend to thrive a bit more, performance becomes more important than popularity) into my product. If you're looking to run some angles, you'll definitely want some form of entertainment factor to your product whether it be Mainstream (emphasizes importance of popularity, fans want simple and non-offensive gimmicks) or Risque (emphasizes importance of popularity, fans enjoy more risky gimmicks, can restrict sponsorship or TV slots). If you want to replicate the gimmicks of ECW, you might also want to throw some Cult in there (fans enjoy more subtle, nuanced gimmicks but can be very vocal about workers they dislike).

Hope this helps! :)
