Well, I figured since I mentioned that I'm an "active competitor in mma" in the WMMA2 dynasty that I just posted, I figured I'd share a couple of the fights that are posted on the internet.
My personal favorite first, my nine second fight:

Another fight of mine is on here:

Videos are in the middle of the page, just click on "Mark Mickells VS Mike Phillips"
And the latest fight:

I put on a Jiu-Jitsu buffet in this one. It was definitely the toughest fight I've had though. I didn't wanna stand with him, because he hit ridiculously hard haha. And the reason I started jumping guard, is because my coach said to take him down, but I have no take downs haha.
But for those curious, I'm an amateur.
My record is 8-2. Technically 6-0 since both my losses have been avenged.
I hold three belts, I'm the Omaha Fight Club 125lb champion, The Torment MMA 135lb champion, and most recently the Fight to Win 125lb champion.
One knockout win, six submission wins, and one decision win.
I hold the iowa state amateur record of the fastest KO (:09)
and my second fastest fight was a :16 armbar win.
I fight at 125 preferably, but I'm comfortable at 135.
And this weekend I'm fighting at 145.
So yeah, that's about it haha.

Do you plan on going pro, and if so when?

Holy crap that guy was strong. He powerbombs you in the first minute! Great job on all the title wins though, and the :09 second KO! Guess you found the button ;-)
That last match looks like it was just brutal. I'm not familiar in jiu-jitsu so I don't know what locks you were trying to throw but he looked like he was able to defend against them fairly well (he didn't pass out or tap out) but because you had his arms locked up you were free to punch and kick and get the decision. Good job!
I'd be nervous about trying to take down a kicker, but I didn't see that guy kick too much. Learn how to shoot and that should help so you don't have to jump guard as much :D

Well good luck to you and I hope you become a WEC champ someday.

Whoa nice job: I haven't watched alot of MMA, just a few Lesnar's matches and I think this was fairly interesting. Good luck with your career, just got to hope that you won't get any major injuries.

Ahaha, that's awesome, you fight at the same weight-class I kick-box at. :D
On your latest fight, I'm surprised you didn't have the choke in fully after he'd lifted you up at the beginning. I almost thought that it would have been over, then I glanced at the YouTube time. I was very impressed with your ground control overall. Even if you missed the hook on the way up when he lifted you, that was just silly of him. One of the first things I learned in BJJ classes is that slamming is a very poor tactic to get out of holds.
Were you slipping on the sponsors logo on the mat when you were throwing kicks? Glanced at some of your other fights, and you actually had good kicks, so that surprised me.
Your guard is actually very good, I was honestly surprised that you didn't submit him. The arm-bar at 5:34, is probably one of my favorite guard techniques. I've got legs like you do, so it's it's a very good technique to try. Your triangle transitions are pretty slick as well! :D
That fight was most certainly not a split decision from what I saw - either. Aaron Trujilio was an explosive guy, and looked like he had quite a bit of talent too, but you definitely had the advantage on the ground and were more aggressive after the first few minutes. Was a good fight though. I enjoyed watching it.
Would suggest that you work on muay-thai techniques, though! Your ground game is already pretty damn solid, a good muay-thai game with good footwork for your size at the division? You'd be a monster.

I thank you all for the compliments.
But man the Trujillo fight, you can't see it too well but I had the choke in so deep, his whole head turned purple and he gurgled like a clogged sink, and I know for a fact that I popped his arm more than once. The kid was just so damn hard to submit, first person I've ever really struggled to submit.

If you watch really closely, everytime I threw my left-headkick, he'd counter with a low kick. First the quick sweep of my ankle, and the second time he hit a front kick right on my hip.
I need to work alot more on striking, my defense is garbage haha. I mean, I have alot of confidence in my hands but since my headkick KO, I just wing my left leg up as soon as the fight starts haha. I need to set that up more.
But, Trujillo hit ridiculously hard for a 125er, and I was winning on the ground so coach said take it to the mat, and thus I jumped in the position I felt most comfortable in haha.
But unfortunately I won't be fighting Friday as anticipated, my opponent backed out.

Damn, I'm even more impressed by that guy. I thought you didn't get it locked in which is why he was able to keep moving but...man. Guy must have blood vessels like an ox :D
Don't get me wrong, you're very impressive too and definitly deserved the win no questions there, but that guy is hard as nails.

Good fight in the 'Fight to win' event. That looked pretty intense.
Hope you make it to pro man.
