My popularity just dropped dramatically. I was Mid level International and got two consecutive very poor PPVs sandwiched around a poor TV show. At the end of that three show span I ended up at High National.

Why I find this strange is that all three cards were booked when I was Mid International. The main and co-main events were all given either good or great fan feedback, so I figured the cards were solid. There were no matches on any of the cards that the fan's found less than "decent undercard" matches.

Each card was run under the latest patch at the time. The last card was run under the patch released on the 27th. I am posting this here instead of in tech support under the assumption that it is not a problem with the game, but with my booking. What could I have done better?

That is odd, especially given that your final show was booked as a mid international level, while it was presumably operating at less than that. My only suggestion is to stay away from "Decent" fights all together. I've had shows with great main events and co=main events get panned when I only have "decent" undercard fights, especially when those fights turn out boring.

a poor TV show will REALLY hurt your rating. An awful rated TV show will hit you for 30% popularity, while a poor PPV will only lose you 10%. If you're gonna put on a TV show, you really need to make sure it's a good one.
