That is, result in the highest number of high rated shows long term with various rosters?
Should have been "Im" not "I" in the topic.

.. But.. The success of the product is directly related to the workers on the basis of how well they fit in the product and vice versa.. Thus rendering the question pointless?
Or I just don't get the question. I can't think of anything else for an answer than a product where the workers are rated equally on popularity and performance as it gives a variety of ways to get people over.

What I'm saying is that if you took TCW and ran them through 6 different products for 3 years, took SWF and ran them through 6 different products for 3 years, and then took PGHW and ran them through 6 different products for 3 years you would get one product that produced better results than the others on average.

No, you'd get 3, one for each promotion ;) It'd be an unlikely coincidence if they matched up.

Although Remianen's product does produce godly results, It's very much a catch-all product, if I understand it correctly - anyone can excel in it. However, you can have certain products finetuned to your federation and their workers to the point that it will get awesome results for you - but would sink a rival fed without your fanbase/roster.

Note too that Remi himself likes to adjust the product once he's gotten the company over:
who might be looking for a more wrestling-oriented product. Once my main eventers get into the C range of overness, I'll change the match ratio to 80% and start running angles. I don't plan to fiddle with the Mainstream until at least National though (since by then, my entire roster should have enough overness to make that feasible). Although, being in Japan, I could hold off on adding more Mainstream until such time as I get a stateside TV deal.
It's a great builder product. I'm not convinced SWF would benefit from it - should run a test sometime.

Does this Remianen product also work with TEW 08? I'm looking to get more A and A* matches, as stated in another topic... would it work?

Does depend on your roster. Guys who get over based off their promos won't love you for it nearly so much as people with talent.

I'd just like to point out that anyone just looking to get maximum grades out of their roster while not actually booking their promotion like they have their product set up... well, it's one of the worst kinds of power gaming. I'm all for trying to succeed, but doing so at the cost of not playing a promotion that is actually set up the way you want it is pretty lame.
This probably comes off as sounding fairly petty, but there is something about the kind of player who only wants the best possible results in a game that is largely about telling the kind of stories that interest you that irks me. I can't even truly explain why, but every time I see someone adopt the Remi product just to get grades I feel that people are somehow missing out on playing the game a little, like they just follow a walkthrough rather than play...
Anywho, rant over. Remi's product is very good for many types of workers and if you do enjoy it (since it's not an unrealistic product) then more power to you. Remember to push Dermot O'Logical, you know you want to. :D

Actually, and I know that speech wasn't directed at me, but I only use that as a rough base, then customise it. Right now I'm playing as a Mexican fed, so I upp'd Lucha and Daredevil, and lowered Realism. And my match grades are incredible!

Yeah, it's more a general observation than a targetted criticism. IMO, anyone playing TEW should theoretically be looking to get the best out of their roster... but be able to do so with a variety of types of promotion. Personally, I'm more biased towards entertainment promotions as I tend to think of elaborate long term storylines and work from there... while other prefer a touring puro style. It just seems like limiting yourself to a sandbox setting when you play with one style guaranteed to work for almost everyone and I really do want people to get the most out of the game, which involves challenging yourself and not always taking the easy option.
I still one day hope to be able to run a successful puro and lucha promotion, though I suspect I'll be waiting til TEW09/10 before I do that, specially now that I'm diary writing again. :)

What's the difference between adapting a roster/storylines to this product as opposed to something that's already set in the CVerse? What might be interesting is to start with a promotion like this, build it up to a certain extent, and then move on to see if it flourishes without you there.

Started a game with $C, used Remi's Product, and got the message "A Change like this may allienate your current fans, and hurt your popularity." considering 4C isn't all that popular to begin with, I said F**k, and am going to give it a go. Hope it works out.
EDIT: I just hit advance, and recieved the "4C has just dropped to small" e-mail. LOL, guess I'm really working from the bottom up.

If you're going to change the product that drastically, it's best do it either before starting the game, or in the editor.
I've justed bumped up Mainstream one notch in my game, and expect to lose some fans as a result. Completely re-writing your company's product is likely to kill your popularity.

In my experience an old school type of product works best. I'm on my Wii now so I can't look up the product settings in my current CGC game but I edited it so it's not just Sportz Entertainmentz!~ (tm) but more balanced. It's still glamour and still popularity based but it's notched so even someone like Human Arsenal can get over on his talent. I compare it more to the NWA of the 80s, which I always thought of CGC as. Where you need some talent to be World's Champ.
Of course, I have plans to push Big Smack Scott which goes against talent but eh, what can I say?
