Ransik's real world scenario

Now before I get started, lemme just say I don't know when I will be able to work on it, how much I can do myself, or what have you. Right now I'm aiming to make WWE, TNA, and the ETWA, the Indy I wrestle for. Basically what I am doing is using the Cornellverse files (moves and what have you) and building the real world in a clean database.

Right now so far I have the WWE created and John Cena finished. If anyone would like to do Ring of Honor, get belt images and the such, I would appreciate any help in that area.

No clue when it will come out, or IF it will, just bear with me, I will work on it when ever I can.

If anyone would like to use a clear database and create free agents for me to put in, I could do that as well.

So please, don't ask when it will be released. I will give info as I move along with it.

Exactly Kay. It's not like I don't know what stats to give the wrestlers. My only issues are going to be guys like The Hearthrobs who I've barely seen, but I'm gonna go with stats based on how they perform in the WWE and nowhere else. I figure since WrestleSpi is supposed to be "shoot wrestling" than how the wrestler is now is what their stats should be.

Hardest part right now is tracking down birth dates, although so far I've gotten them all.

Hating the WWE is not the same as hating the wrestlers in the WWE. I too hate the WWE, but I really like a lot of the wrestlers involved in the fed. Guys like Benoit, Guerrero(s), Y2J, London, etc... Those guys are all amazing wrestlers, who have just been limited by crappy WWE storylines and move (style) restrictions. Just because you don't like the fed does not mean you can't be fair to the wrestlers.

Alright everyone, things are running smoothly, and I have no database errors as of yet, so I'm actually moving on the right track. If any of you would like to help get pics of the Titles, and make full profiles of free agents or workers from Smackdown and TNA, now is the time to do so while I'm working on the RAW roster.

Also, if anyone would like to make full profiles of the well-known free agents you would like added into the game, you could do that as well. I'm going to add as many free agents as I can think of that people might be interested in playing as, so the more you can get to me, the better off we all are for a quicker release.

Or if you don't want to make those profiles, gimme a list here of who you would like to see in the game.

Also note, people like Todd Grisham, road agents and others will not be included to save time. I just don't see a point in making guys like Johnny Ace.

Cool. Only issue would be is that I know nothing about their moves, and since I can't import move sets, I would need A LOT of help from you on that one. Make a clear database and create Ring of Honor, and leave me a Word Pad done with the top moves each guy has, and with their stats I can fill in the rest with regular moves. Make sure you have finishers clearly labeled (such as what the move is named, what it is, and how/where it's done.

The RAW roster should be finished by tomorrow morning and I should be able to get started on Smackdown when ever I wake up tomorrow afternoon. I'm still amazed I'm getting as much done as I am considering I work a 3rd shift schedule. Honestly, how can there not be one 2005 scenario? :)

Now people... just so I can tell what I'm working with here, someone list of a bunch of free agents they would like me to include, so I can see how much longer it will take me to do. I figure it took about 4 days to do RAW... should take 3-4 to do Smackdown. TNA will probably take about a week, and the ETWA should be 2-3 days. Than I need to do the little things like tag teams, relationships and the such, and add in the free agents.

Anyways, I figure if I stay on track, and figure in the amount of work I can do on my 2 days off a week, it MAY take 1-2 months.... MAYBE.

I'm headed to work right now, so when I get off work I will do the entire move sets of the last 8 workers I have on the RAW roster and get started on Smackdown after I sleep. If I don't get roped into any plans, I could foresee having the entire WWE roster done by Wednesday since I have Monday and Tuesday off, and everyone I know works a fixed weekday schedule. Also having a 2000 pound storage shed with a radio in it doesn't help me get anywhere. ;)

Well, ETWA is being included because it's a small promotion, and if you do Rookie to Legend you need a place to start since WWE and TNA won't hire you.

Damn, I slept all day... RAW isn't finished. Well... I have the next 2 days off, so it won't be a problem. I needed a day to crash, 6 days in a row (plus tonight) is starting to get to me.

Update for 8/22:

Whoo hoo! The RAW roster is finally completed! I ran a test and found out something rather interesting. It seems that even though I have no one on the Smackdown brand as of yet and all the RAW competitors are assigned to the brand, the game will run the Smackdown shows with RAW wrestlers on them instead of cancelling them completely.

Well everyone, I had a nervous breakdown today, so I decided I need a couple of days to myself. I got through over a third of the Smackdown roster, but today quite a few things happened, and I just totally lost it, and I had to get picked up by my mother for the day. I've only slept 4 hours in since Saturday afternoon, and the end of my rope was reached. So I'm just gonna take today and tomorrow off, and not do a damn thing until I have to go to work tomorrow night.

Ransik, I noticed an error for ankle lock. The ankle lock frequency rate is 15 which would be impossible to hit. After hitting the angle slam, I couldn't hit the ankle lock which was difficult to hit because the freq rate is too low for a simple move that cause more damages as the angle slam. My question is are you going to make a few adjustments by increasing the freq for the ankle lock?

The logical thing to do with the moves is to chain them together. Making it "Angle Slam into Ankle Lock", where the move does the damage of both the slam and ankle lock, in addition to it being able to finish the match with a submission.

Angle Slam into Ankle Lock makes alot more sense. Ransik could also chain together Hogans Big Boot with the Hogan Leg Drop, where both moves cause double damages. Same with Shawn Michaels special. Why just Sweet Chain Music when you can just chain them together to make it Top rope elbow with the Sweet Chain Music or Flying Forearm with the Sweet Chain Music and you could add in his Tune the Band taunt. I feel that having thier moves chain together makes the match more realistic. What do you think Ransik?

Right now I'm considering a roster cut-off date due to the fact that several WWE debuts have been taking place recently, and I'm already 4-5 wrestlers behind because of this fact, but we'll see where it goes. But if anyone can get me a KyKy of Murdoch and Cade, that would help. Thanks!

Ok, before I can continue, I need some help. I don't have a clue what Simon Dean's Simonizer is, although I have a very very vague idea, because I saw him use a move on Velocity a couple months back.

Also, I need someone to send me some info such as a bio and top moves for guys like Burchill, CM Punk and other guys that have been on WWE TV very little or none at all, because I can't add guys I know little to nothing about.

Until then I will be tweaking things and getting lists for tag teams and PPVs.

Bio: British born and bred, he is new-blood, but almost a legend in his homeland already. Burchill uses a great fusion of high-flying and power moves, and is a deadly opponent in the ring.

Finisher: C4
Description: A backflip Sambo Suplex, either from a standing position or the top rope (I'd do 2 variations if I were you).
Damage: Regular - 35 Head, 70 Body. Top Rope - 50 Head, 85 Body.

The straight edge hero made his name in ROH, but has competed in many other promotions. A good technical wrestler with excellent mic skill, CM Punk has shown the potential to go far.

Thats what i would put for his bio.

Finisher : Pepsi Plunge

Description : A double underhook facebuster from the top rope, which lands with huge impact.

Damage : 75 Head, 30 Body

I would do that. He also uses a the pepsi-plex and the pepsi-twist, and if you need me to find out about these moves, just post it here and ill find out.

Don't forget that the WWE-fied versions of Punk and Burchill will be different. Burchill is using a modified-Fujiwara armbar as his finisher, and Punk certainly won't be allowed to use the Pepsi Plunge in the WWE for two reasons.

1) All high-risk CW moves are banned.
2) Too much like the Pedigree.

Yeah, you should make two move files for them. CM Punk WWE, CM Punk Indy, Paul Birchall WWE, Paul Birchall Indy, just alter them a bit more. Birchall is completely different in WWE than he was in FWA. I'm sure CM Punk will be too.

When I began on August 18th, I had a list of 83 workers to put in, and all are done with their full move sets and profiles. As it stands right now, I'm working through the active rosters, freezing the list when I get them. After I finish with TNA and ETWA, I will add in guys like Ken Kennedy, Trevor Murdoch, Burchill, and the such, as it will give me time to watch those guys to better put move lists together. Since I will not be making OVW, I'm not sure if guys like CM Punk will be added unless he gets some sort of TV time between now and the release, as I know almost nothing about him. Possibly... I will have to have someone take my files and create people just so they can be in the game.

Oakster, I got your PM with mistakes, but every time I try and reply my IE freezes up, but it doesn't for any other PMs which is odd to me.

I have the TNA Titles made and the roster all set up, which means anyone that gets brought into the company from today will only be added after the 3 companies are completed, unless it's a big name. I also don't know what I'm going to do about Credible, Bubba, D-Von, Spike and Kidman right now since Vinnie Mac is being a complete ass about copyrighting names he had nothing to do with creatively.

Ok, a lil update of the past few days.

My grandmother is currently going through multiple surgeries after having multiple heart attacks, so I'm not exactly clear-headed enough to work too much on the scenario. I'm also battling the worst case of the flu I have ever had and still having to go to work regardless, so I'm doing my best here. I'll let everyone know what's going on when I can.

Just thought I would let everyone know that the work on TNA is now moving along at a much quicker pace, as I found a very convenient source to get information on almost every wrestler in existance, from birthdates to finishers. :)

In the last hour I have done profiles and set up 9 more profiles, done all the shells for the move sets for the wrestlers in TNA, and imported all of the TNA employee pics into the scenario folder. So it's going good now! If nothing, and I mean if NOTHING distracts me, I should be done TNA before Monday. But do NOT take that as a guarantee.

Damn my employers... they're trying to destroy me. I'm doing 42 hours this week (15 of them starting tonight) and I have 6 days next week. So now I'm thinking TNA will be done Tuesday or Wednesday. But today I probably won't do much as I need to get all the sleep I can for my marathon tonight.

^^ Same here. It's still pretty laughable about how everyone was saying "Damian will get it out soon!" and "He's probably having a family emergency..." when you're putting it out, by yourself, WITH various "family emergency"'s of your own.

Exactly. Not to knock the guy or anything, but I've had so many issues (good & bad) as well as working over 40 hours a week (try doing a 15 hour shift and then comnig home and pumping out 3 hours of scenario work.) Either there was no team of people and the guy was working on it by himself, or the thing just doesn't exist. In the last month I have done over 115 workers, and half of those days I didn't get any work done on it.

Right now with the basics of the workers in TNA set up (move set shell and pics) I'm still getting one worker done every 15 minutes or so depending on how many moves I have to create for the person.

For instance, with someone like Matt Bentley, his finishers were already in the game (Superkick & Big Elbow) so it took me all of 7 minutes to finish him. In the case of Elix Skipper, it took about 20 to finish him because I had to create 3 moves for him and I had to search even harder to find his birthdate because my main source didn't have one for him.

In the last 2 days I've done about 20 workers or so if I'm remembering correctly, and I may get to 30 if I stay on it.

Ransik, I think this scenario needs more Indys, mexico and japanese promotions because with the way the WWE and TNA releasing wrestler due to the size of the roster. It's impossible to be rehired because wrestlers aren't over enough. Take Petey Williams for example. I did a career with Petey Williams and I only had four matches within the four month period. After that I was called to an meeting with Dixie and she said due to the size of roster my services aren't needed, so she terminated my contract, that B***h. I tried the WWE with Petey Williams but they said I wasn't over, so that left me with nothing. My question is would there be more Indy's, Mexican and Japanese promotions being added after you finished three promotions? If so it would help young talents build up there overness and abilities in small feds before moving on to the big leagues.

The ETWA will allow wrestlers not over enough to give it another go until they can go back to TNA or even WWE, but the inital release will just have the 3 companies. If someone would be willing to take the data I release and make Ring of Honor I would not be opposed to it, but other than these 3 feds, I am not knowledgable enough in any other company to add them and have it be of any good quality.

Just remember though, this is going to be a first release. If I can get people willing to add to it, it can only get better.

I'm currently 14 months into the game, and I am 1/2 of the ETWA Tag Champs with Sack, the ETWA Champ, and I just got a job with TNA and got a team with Daniels. No Title shots yet, and my overness has gone from 2 to 37 in 14 months, so I do believe so far things are going the way they should.

Chris Jericho doesn't have a biog, and should be down as an inactive worker for the time being.

Gene Snitsky should be just Snitsky, Renee Dupree should be Rene Dupree.

Juventud's a face, he should be a heel.

Finished 2 years in my game, and I think things are okay with it. The stats I gave myself seem to be right on, as even with all the training and so forth, I had a very hard time against guys like Dupree and Rhino when I arrived in the WWE, and I even got beat by freakin' Antonio in my 3rd match under WWE contract!

So here's a layout of what occured in those 2 years;

From October 2005 to February 2007 I was with the ETWA, and during that time I won the ETWA Tag Titles with Sack, won the ETWA IC Title, and won the ETWA Heavyweight Title 2 times.

In May of 2006 I signed a verbal agreement to work in TNA, and this is where I definitely think I gave myself the right stats, because I wrestled 48 matches in TNA and only won half of them. I won the NWA Tag Titles with Simon Diamond, but that damn Viscera is impossible to take down when you're so much smaller, so him and Rhino took the belts away pretty much right off.

I signed on with the WWE in February of 2006 under a written contract of $7200 a month. After being destroyed by Kane and Snitsky, I went into a feud with Masters which I won, and then I bounced around winning and losing for a while. I got teamed with Styles for a while, and my overness stayed at 68 for about 4 months even with some big wins. About 3 weeks before the end of the test run, I fought Kevin Nash, and thanks to Val Venis jumping Big Kev before the match, I was BARELY able to get the win. It took 8 Sweet Chin Musics and 2 Sharpshooters to get the big bastard to go down. :)

So I think it ran pretty well all in all. The ETWA struggles, TNA talent comes and goes back and forth between there and the WWE, and while the WWE Titles barely ever switch hands, the TNA Titles get passed around like water, as do the ETWA Titles.

I'm almost tempted to finish the year off to see where I place, as I placed #308 in 2006, so I really am curious to see where I would place in 2007.
