Organic Promotion Relationships
I believe I suggested it for TEW 20XX (whatever maybe sequel name) for the promotions to make and break relationships as it best suits the needs of the companies or based on certain business dealings between companies. Encroaching on strong home turf could also cause tension.

Promotion Home Turf
Or strong holds where a promotion is recognized as THE promotion to watch there and will have an effect on even the biggest promotions coming in. Just because a promotion has a lot of popularity in an area doesn't mean it's a strong hold for that company.

Crowd Interest/Mood
Woodmeister suggested a ring locator to be readily available on the fight screen. A crowd interest bar or indicator would be nice as well where the bar fills gradually or declines as the match goes on to let the wrestlers sense the crowd response in the heat of battle. It would be identified by a bar, a face, or what not.

The mood would show how emotionally involved in a match the crowd is. At the peak of excitement towards the end or whenever, would be the best time to end the match. Depeneding on the match interest and mood you can get a reaction: standing ovation, applause, "That Was Awesome", boos/jeers, "That Sucked", riot (when there's a bad match or in a great match where the face loses--great for Puerto Rico or Mexico).

Independent Shows
Such as in TEW, have them every month depending on the area's influence or what have you at whatever time. The indy shows have slots where you can sign up for shows ahead of time and if you can make them and your popularity is high enough (or low) then you're on the show and have a spot.

Show Ratings
Just show ratings.

Show MVP, Promotion Ace
Show MVPs. Established promotion ace where the company can call a worker their ace. This puts automatic pressure on a worker where a certain match rating is acceptable. For instant with BHOTWG or SWF the match rating for an ace might be a minimum of B.

Travel
Have where you actually have to travel to shows. This could add a sense of strategy where you might actually have to choose your promotions to work for by travel means. For touring promotions, it might be easier for you since the company might have a tour bus (like NJPW or the like) to get you from show to show. You can buy a vehicle to drive to shows under finance and the days of travel are reduced according to the value of the vehicle.

You can also fly to shows (across countries and the like) if you have the funds. This would be something to actually give a reason to use that built up cash aside from assets, friend gambling, and skills.

WreSpi I Relationship building
Return to the relationship building of the original WreSpi. It was far easier than in WreSpi II (which the downside), but more normal to actually building and destroying friendships. The old way (good matches, talking backstage, fights) would be good to have back, but make them more difficult to get a friendship or whatever started.

These could be done by calling, email (with a new website thing for WreSpi similar to the one in TEW), traveling with a worker, backstage, or training with a worker, hanging out, etc. Different things could be discussed such as relationships with another worker, work, lifestyle, show offers, a promotion, outside stuff. Would be cool to see how this plays out in the likes of D.O.T.T. Relationships can be pushed to either extremes back and forth and don't have to stick at one specific one. If you're on bad turns with a worker try an apology or talking about the situation. If the worker is a joker or very nice type you may be able to work it out than with someone who is pissed off all the time.

Actively Pursued Workers
Someone mentioned it, but have where companies look for you. A perfect (reverse) suggestion for TEW where workers look for you company.
