I don't want to be the one to make others feel uncomfortable, but I have to say this:

Anti, it's good to know where you've been and that you've gotten over feelings that have been troubling you. It is also awful to suffer as many loses as you have over such a short period of time.

However, regardless of your state of mind, we, as a group, can't treat you differently than other players. It's not in the spirit of the game!

All I'm suggesting is that we stay at normalcy. This is a game, as you said, so we have to play it.

That being said, I'm not really concerned about you enough to push for a claim, but may I ask if you have an active ability? Have you been out this game?

Thank you all for the kind words. As for my ability, whether I go out or not alternates. Its explained as me having to get my confidence up enough to go out. Without quoting it, its like a 50/50 chance. i have gone out, but I don't have any hard information to share. As i type this I wrestle with saying more, but given what happened last night, and the hint I've already given, I hope that you all understand that i have my reasons for not saying more. At least, not just yet.

My gut isn't usually any good, but I think while Sean's in the air, we should talk to Prophet. Obviously, the rangers suggest it and I know Prophet is just so durn good behind the witticisms. Night 1, I'm certain, as for night 2 and 3 I don't know. Night 1 I targetted Gabbo, and with what occurred night 2, it leads me to feel confident I succeeded night 1. Night 2, I went with Z9t, and last night phase, it was PP (again, assumed success, but not absolutely positive.)

The moron once again wandered around aimlessly, hoping he could stumble upon the identities of those who would make him famous. Unfortunately tonight, he would have no luck in finding anyone at all, let alone one of those goody goods.

Roaming the halls, he had been searching for someone. Anyone he could throw into detention in hopes of stopping someone from doing anything diabolical. He really thought he could do Angel Grove a great service.

Tonight, he would get an entirely different experience.

He turned a corner, stopping as he saw someone up ahead.

"You. This way!"

The one he'd sighted simply stared at him, almost amused for a moment before coming over.

With a smile, Self pointed towards a door, not noticing the blade in the attackers hand until it was far too late.

"Still no challenge."

A young child had just visited, acting as a catalyst for things to come. The child's target wandered around, obviously thinking heavily about something. Had it been paying attention, the target may not have become a target for something else.

Something far more evil.

A single large eye seemed to suck in the target, capturing it inside.

Watching from the top of a hill with binoculars, the person seemed almost shocked by what was going on below. One of the Power Rangers was under attack! The person responsible for something so evil must be bad.

He had spent most nights much the same as he was tonight. Surrounded by teenagers. They tried to explain to him that it was dangerous. That he should stay safe and out of the way. That the Power Rangers would handle this battle, and Angel Grove would be saved.

Of course, they had no clue just who he was when he dressed as a civilian. He was the first to hear the approaching footsteps, and he knew. Barely having any time to react, and knowing he couldn't do what needed to be done in front of these teens, he had no choice but to simply hope for the best.

SMASH!

The giant sword crashed down into the ground near the group, crushing someone else under it's weight. Thinking the attack was over, he rushed over to help out, not expecting to be crushed under a giant foot himself.

Dumbfounded, two morons hid behind a tree close by, watching the entire scene in safety.

She followed her target carefully, having just managed to find the target. She'd been as cautious as possible, the target had no clue she was there at all.

Someone else... did.

A brutal shot with the attacker's weapon took her off her feet. The attacker kept on the attack, knocking away her weapons in the process. The attacker pinned down the victim long enough to remove her helmet before finishing the job with one clean shot to the face.

The only think that warms a small part of my heart from this is the Nev situation. Would a putty be considered an 'it'?

I would almost consider lynching him, just on general principal of having both annoyed me and been wrong the entire time he was annoying me.

Technically I said if Self was lynched and he was town. If it'll keep me out of the gallows I'll do it, but again, we need to be putting our heads together as that was a buttload of kills last round....

In fact you were still hyper aggressive even having a go at us on several occasions for taking out an inactive instead of the 'plum' scum target in Self.

The fact that you wouldn't listen to our counter arguments and continued your constant pressure troubled me then and troubles me more now. To be honest though, I think your probably town, but i do have a few nagging doubts.

You talk about wanting to be the town leader and thats cool. But a leader isn't somebody that just shouts and shouts and shouts and then when people don't agree, bold up text and shout again.

Im wondering with the way the PM's have gone so far if these guys may have seen something but actually not know what. No point outting themselves if they have no definitive targets.

On the other hand though, if you do have somebody for us to take a look at, dont protect your role so much that we are punching at shadows.

Anyone remember what happened to me in the Simpson's game? I mean before my mother had her heart attack and i was replaced? That's a hint, and for those of you who do remember you know what i am hinting at now.

As for the voting deal, well, i was drunk and not really caring about appearences. i drink a lot now since my mom passed away. Yesterday was particularly bad as it would have been my little sisters 30th birthday. She passed away three years ago. I "disappeared" when all the focus was swirling on gabbo to get my drink on. I happened to check in, because I play these games to try to takle stuff off of my mind, and that is when I saw a funny vote count, didn't even care to bother to read anything else, and voted to lynch because once i suspected SHENANIGANS, to me it meant Gabbo had to be scum. If I was in a position where I thought appearences had mattered to me, i wouldn't have changed my vote at all, but yesterday my mind was on otehr stuff.


I wish I could be more helpful, especially given, well, you know. but all these hints people drop related to the TV show go over my head. I've been playing with my gut, meanwhile my heart isn't entirely in it.

I am not dragging up all this personal stuff as an excuse or a ploy. People question my change in play style and the reason for it has to do with my rreal life. Over the last year my father and then my mother have passed away, both while I was playing these games. Some times, I think if maybe i hadn't played these games as much, I would have had more time to spend with them, and their passing wouldn't have been as hard as it was. And when i think about that I get angry, at myself, and resentful towards the rest of you. This was apparent to me in games like Star Wars 2 and lakeside, where i went out of my way to **** with some of you folks after my dad died. But I've gotten to the point where i don't blame myself or the games any more, so if I seem less aggressive about these games now, its because over the last year I've had to do some growing up.

Life is too short to get bent out of whack over a game. In the past, where i would have argued with someone for pages and pages over the meaning of one word. Well, its not like i don't care anymore, but its low on my list of priorities now

Sure it was a stretch, but on D1 we didn't have anything else to go with. I was being loud and active because everyone was dragging their feet. I listened to the counter arguments, but really the only argument brought up was "we don't have enough info" which irritated me because it was D1...how much info do you need?

Anyway, the bandwagon was rolling but we just barely ran out of time, needing only 4 more votes for a lynch. I leave for the weekend and what happens? Nothing. I think maybe one person looks at Self and then everyone just shrugs and ends up lynching an AFK player. It got my gall because you were dragging your feet about "lack of info" D1, but D2, you got nothing out of UFC-KING and lynched him anyway. Yeah, I was pissed because it meant that there were a whole lotta hypocrite walking 'round town.

So, I resumed my mantle D3, but it didn't last very long. First someone asked me to put my crusade on hold for a bit, then trypio eloquently posted a summarized convincing counter-arguement, and derek's list was posted. Sure I kept calling Self scum, but it was half-hearted and mostly in white text.

So, I'm sorry that I don't have a 100% scum finding record. I was thoroughly convinced of Self's scummy nature because of both his posting style and more importantly for me, his ability. As I keep pointing out in the write ups, the warden ability appears to be overpopulated, but now I realize that's because it doesn't stop everything.

Imagine we're in a basic mafia game. You're investigator. Someone else claims investigator. You've got a valid counter-claim. While I could never be 100% sure, I was 99.99999999% there couldn't be 4 wardens in the game. I was wrong, I said that several times before. And only now do I realize how that could be possible in order to preserve game balance.

So like I said, on D1 we had a scummy posting character who had a highly suspect ability. Sounds like a prime scum candidate to me.

Sword makes me think Goldar but this "no challenge" thing is bugging me. I feel I should be getting something from that, and it doesn't sound like Goldy.

If we are losing 4 townies a day, no one is safe at this point because I'm guessing there's at LEAST 6-7 more scum out there.

30 players left, losing 4 a day = 5 more nights before we reach the critical point.

White Ranger was always good. He was only evil when he was the Green Ranger.

Also, the main active antagonist [as in, actually fighting the Rangers] is Golder whose weapon of choice was a large sword. I just don't get why 1) he would kill Scorpina, since they often acted together and 2) the "still no challenge" comments, kind of fits him since only Jason and Tommy could really hang with him in combat but I wouldn't be 100% sure attributing those lines to him.

As for the Green Ranger, originally he was under a spell by Rita to be bad, which Jason [IIRC] broke to bring him over to the Rangers side.

I completely trust our Green/White Ranger at this point, for the record.

I mean, I'm willing to go 1:1 for scum, but 2:1 or 3:1 or worse starts to make things less enticing.

I don't regret or wish to retract any of those statements. I believed you that Self was scum, but felt if you wanted the lynch to be achieved, which it seemed like you really did, you would have to reveal how you "knew" he was scum.

Well, I do have a few suspicious characters, but that's only if people want to hear about it. It's all conjecture and gut feelings, but it's a thought anyway.

One thing that is curious is that Gabbo pointed a finger at 4 different people. I wouldn't be surprised if one of them was scummy. Gabbo knew he was going down so he might've tried to clear a friend by association.

If it had just been a single person, I wouldn't be convinced, but with a group of 4...that's an easy place to hide in especially if others were considered town.

For example, Prophet has been tenatively cleared for now... but that still leaves The Two, Mr. T, and one other person that Gabbo waggled his finger about.

It was my idea to wait until midnight. However I never intended to split the vote, I always wanted to lynch Gabbo today, just wanted to see if Sean would respond.

My Destiny analysis is complete. And he/she/it is very keen on lynching Sean McFly. Since derek_b published the list, Destiny has been bringing up Sean McFly at least once every 12 hours or so.

He/she/it was also the first to post after the N3 phase with a "wow, that was a horrible night phase" post. Finally I get this strong impression that he/she/it is really digging for information, but not so much in a scum tracking kind of way, but more of a "what kind of abilities/potential do people have" which strikes me more of scum trying to find a good target rather then

I just want to clarify one point. I wasn't threatening to leave the game if we didn't lynch Self, I threatened to storm off in a tantrum if we lynched an inactive player when there were active scummy characters to question.

Now, I don't think I'll be leading any crusades for awhile, I have to replenish all that fire and brimstone I expended earlier. However, Destiny did ask me why I put his/her/its name in Red, and the above quotes are examples of why.

To summarize:

1) Seems to be fishing for information, but not information that is necessarily helpful from a town perspective (mason groups, townie role changes and abilities)

2) Posted "what a bad night", a scum tell especially given that a mess load of townies were killed

3) Almost obsessed with Sean McFly, even though there are other potential targets. What concerns me is that while derek_b's list may contain more then 1 scum, it's likely that it didn't. The fact that Destiny is really trying to keep focus on a known inactive player makes me thing he/she/it is trying to keep our attention focused on a dead end.

Also wanna say I agree with PP. The initial write up shows someone killing a black colored alignment with a sword. Blades are typically SK weapons. Since then we have seen several of these evil putty rangers with a red alignment.

2 scum groups and an sk, typically means 3 night kills a night. yet we have had some nights with more, some with less. Unless there are other scum indies or groups. Something went on during these nights that hasn't been explained.

He has a blade, he's Tommy's equal at the tournament, and is an antagonist throughout most of MMPR1

He doesn't become White Ranger until Season 2.

True as far as the period goes, Slim. But the White Ranger has been evil. In the Dino Thunder season, (last one I watched), the White Ranger was the lead villian's son Trent. He was close to the Rangers of that season when they were out of Ranger mode. But his father's alter ego made him a mock Ranger to battle the real ones. Of course, like Tommy before him, he eventually got turned by the good Rangers. So even if this game were stretched far off out over the timeline to allow for folks like Trent, I doubt he'd be an SK. Miller maybe. But not SK. The only way I see a bad White Ranger on the landscape at all is if it was one of the Putty Rangers we've been dealing with.

You really want another Self situation here don't you? Tommy Oliver only worked for Rita while he was under a spell, after he was freed of Rita's control he was a good guy.

"Where... am I?" He pushed himself off the ground and took a moment to take in his surroundings. Unsure of how he managed to wind up here, he noted a sign ahead and made his way towards it.

Then he heard it. The rumbles and roars of battle up ahead.

A giant half scorpion half woman monster battled a giant robot just outside of the city. Marks from the battle could be seen on both, which made it obvious that they'd been going at it for some time now.

The scorpion monster, on the defensive, battled with everything she had. Blocking blow after blow from the giant sword the robot swung, thanks mostly to her own weapon. She knew it was only a matter of time before this battle would be won. The robot was using up it's power supply, and the sun was setting fast.

The solar powered robot sensed the urgency and sped up it's attacks, only to have the monster fight back. It took the advantage, slicing into the robot time and time again.

The sun set, and monster took complete control. Explosions began throughout the zords as they took massive damage from each strike, not lasting long at all before they fell to the ground in a heap, completely wrecked.

With that, the monster returned to it's normal state as a woman dressed in gold armor.

"I thought you'd be a challenge." Disgusted at the ease of her defeat, the attacker simply walked away.

Well sure, the mod could take creative license with anything. I just wonder if people more knowledgable about the Rangers could look at the write up and see if it helps explain anything going on in the game. As it is now, stuff just seems to happen, least thats all i can tell.

I think back to the SIN game, and how the town was all over the place until the players figured out that one threat was based on the Seven Deadly sins. It is easier to find something once you know what you are looking for.

Also, I'm speculating that the Fake ranges are more numerous but less powerful. So probably 4-5 rangers, with similar abilities, but underpowered, hence the PGO kill (or maybe vig kill) N1.

Meanwhile Rita's super monsters are more numerous, probably 3 in number but have shown their ability to bypass protection. I believe I defended against a monster N1 (the "wow, that's way bad" thing that collapsed a building on me) but maybe a 1-shot ability to bypass the protection by biggifying him?

Anyway, that's my thoughts on game mechanics.

For the most part I just observe, make notes of who's seemingly scummy, who's not contributing, who's posting without saying stuff and scrutinizing them.

Self I thought was big because of the lack of acknowledgement of the town tag.

Destiny I felt is fishing for information that is more useful to scum then town. But seeing as how wrong I was about Self, I'm not leading a crusade anymore. I posted my findings, town looked them over, deemed it unsatisfactory and we've moved on.

So as I said before, my ego's been deflated, my leadership undermined by my own incompetence, so I'll just follow the bandwagons now.

You're right. My guess is derek was a forensic investigator so he when he investigated a body, he'd get the killer + 4 RNG'd suspects.

If it truly is random, then there could easily be multiple scum on that list although the probabilities are unlikely. And we don't know if Arrows made it only semi-random, so it'd be the 1 killer + 4 random townies to prevent the entire mafia from going down with one list.

So the Rangers/Monsters can PGO/overpower the Townies/Putty rangers but not vice versa.

So when a putty ranger attacks a ranger, the putty gets put in his place. When a monster is blocked by a town, the protection is only marginally effective...

A young child had just visited, acting as a catalyst for things to come. The child's target wandered around, obviously thinking heavily about something. Had it been paying attention, the target may not have become a target for something else.

Also wanna say I agree with PP. The initial write up shows someone killing a black colored alignment with a sword. Blades are typically SK weapons. Since then we have seen several of these evil putty rangers with a red alignment.

2 scum groups and an sk, typically means 3 night kills a night. yet we have had some nights with more, some with less. Unless there are other scum indies or groups. Something went on during these nights that hasn't been explained.

masterded's story checks out as far as post wise. He has been bringing stuff up every phase. I thought the mirror stuff was brought up by someone else, but yeah... he brought that up too, and at the appropriate time.

I'm still curious who he is, but I think there's shenanigans going on, probably a bus driver.

So, I can account for my Midnightnick could not target Nevermore and why he was at the scene of the crime.

However, I still cannot account for why masterded was there. And as for his story checking out... although he's posted the snippets each phase, none of it has been helpful as is. None of it has really led to anything conclusive, so at least at this point, I don't really care what his powers are, I want his name.

We caught up Gabbo because he was a Season 2 character, which means a name will either check out without a counter-claim, or scum will get caught.

Also found this out:

Twin Man

A reflective monster, Twin Man turned himself and 4 Putties into duplicates of the Rangers to frame them. After being struck by the Power Weapons, each of the fake Rangers reverted to Putties. Eventually Twin Man was revealed as the bogus Red Ranger. Twin Man was destroyed by the Power Blaster after being weakened by the tower formation attack.




I think we have the second scum team figured out. 5 originally, with 2 down leaves 2 putties and Twin Man as the fake red ranger. This also explains why all the fake rangers so far have simply been called "Putty"

I think Katherine Hillard actually debuted in Season 2, right? And I'm pretty sure I've picked up on someone's hints that suggests as Season 2 character as well.
