Anyway, a while back we were chatting about what you do at night. I can pull up the quotes if necessary, but you had indicated that you'd targeted Gabbo, Z9T, and PP, and weren't entirely sure if you were doing what you were supposed to.

Now I don't want to get into too much detail at night, but I am curious about what you've been up to in the meantime, who you've targeted, if it's getting the results you think it's supposed to get, etc.

You're quite welcome. Just so happens I've been trying to cook up a diary myself. Was talking about the way I play the low level guys in the 08 forum a little while ago and been thinking of doing a diary to show it off. I have a pretty good structure going based on what I've seen in the diary tip threads. But for some reason, my two marquee storylines seem to want to bleed together on me despite the fact they deal with different sides of my intended premise. That's driving me nuts.

Been mucho stuff in my head lately so it may just be me being distracted. Or maybe I need to just respect the bleedover and it's all the offline chaos clouding my vision. All I know is the my intended storylines aren't playing nice with me.

Night Seven

Night after night, Angel Grove suffered loses capable of crushing nearly every bit of hope they had. Every day, they'd managed to find a way to turn things back around by taking out one of the bad guys in return.

Many had been lost, and while tonight could have been one of the worst night's ever...

They got lucky.

Two separate attacks stood in the same location, both confused by what was going on. Neither seemed able to get to their target tonight. Disgruntled, both had no choice but to turn and leave, returning to their respective leaders.

Unfortunately, not everyone could be stopped from doing what they wished to do. One watched as another rounded up people. A group of two became a group of three, and just as the three found a spot they felt safe, their thought process was proven wrong.

He heard the attacker's feet hit the ground and started glancing around the area, checking in every possible direction, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.

"ROCKY! WATCH OUT!"

He jerked around, face to face with his attacker now, who'd managed to sneak up on the group, unnoticed until the attacker was ready to be seen. One slash from the attacker's weapon took down Rocky with relative ease.

"I thought you people were supposed to be good at martial arts."

Another teleported away, knowing they'd be next if they didn't get out of there.

He sat down on a bar stool, a miracle it didn't break. This place had been staying open late a lot lately, due to everything happening, and tonight it would just be the two of them there. For once, he wouldn't have to worry so much about winding up covered in food, which gave him a chance to actually sit down and talk with the other person.

He spent most of the night there, questioning the other about the Power Rangers and their identities. In the end, he'd have nothing to show for his night.

Also, two other points, before they become day long conversations. 1 - I know there's no period on the end of my role title. It's because I'm not a copy/paster. I never have been. I rewrote it. My role does have a period on the end, it's in the proper format, I just didn't retype it.

2 - my voting record ... to the best of my rememberance, I have voted twice. Once as the lead to the King, to press him to speak up, and the second on Destiny. I don't tend to vote early and often, and when I feel comfortable we've got scum, I'm usually too late to even attempt to vote.

2: Prophet. He has claimed and I don't know what to make of it personally. With what we know is still left, I'm not too crazy about it. But I'm not in the range of obvious characters still left either. So unless I can something more concrete, I can't be too harsh when he's at least trying.

3: Moon Lit Tears. The last few hours I've been post auditing folks I had limited thoughts on. The heat has turned this perfectly good weekend day into a neverending wasteland for me. so it's like "why not?" Gotta salvage this far lazier than welcome mess somehow. And I'll grant you I'm starting to get a little mind-fried from the process. However I can tell you of the folks I've audited, MLT has had the least substance to offer of any remaining player. I'm thinking this late in the game it's time that changed.

Night Five

One moron had caught up with his target early in the night, and followed them, cluelessly managing to keep himself from being detected. Out into the mountains he followed, until his target vanished into a large building in the middle of nowhere. Dumbfounded, he stood back staring at it, until he saw his friend doing the same mere yards away.

"Yours go in there too?"

"Mine never came out."

Another made his way up to them curiously, staring up at the building as well.

"Do either of you know where I can find Billy?"

He wouldn't get the answer he expected. His visitor wouldn't even say a word, simply smashing him in the face with their weapon repeatedly.

To find the target tonight would take going somewhere different. Binoculars in hand, this one sat outside a window, watching inside of it. Keeping a close eye on the target was rather simple. Helping said target... would be an entirely different story.

A giant foot crashed into the house with enough force that the house crumbled with relative ease, the young kid hiding under his bed inside helpless to do anything but accept his fate.

They couldn't decide what to do tonight, instead deciding just to watch out for themselves. Perhaps being out and about had kept them alive. They sat together in the park with nothing in sight, completely unaware that they were not alone.

Just as one of the young men heard a noise he turned, staring face to face with his killer, weapon already buried in his chest.

The way this game has been shaping up, the easiest claim to make is that of a roleblocker.

The blockers themselves dont get any notification if they were successful. The blockees (new word) dont recive any notification telling them they were blocked.

I'm not saying your lying, but coupled with the fact there has been no mention of trumpets or music in the write ups, i'm vary wary.

All, in all that wasn't a bad phase at all for us. Only 3 attacks so i'm wondering if my theory about who killed MJ may have been correct and we only have to worry about 3 kills a night.

I want to nip this in the bud. Bulk & Skull can only win if they can correctly identify 3 rangers. The ONLY clues they get are from the write-ups. The don't get PM confirmations. Thus, the idea that Arrows would be purposefully deceptive in his write-ups of "the morons" just seems like he's trying to screw people over, and I don't think he'd do that. That's not to say Squatt & Baboo aren't morons or aren't in this game, but as far as who is and isn't in the write-up, I REFUSE to believe they reference someone other than Bulk and / or Skull.

No, you haven't laid it all out. Certainly not enough to avoid suspicion or nip in in the bud. Where's the list of targets? Where's the full explanation of your abilities. You're being vague and I personally believe making things up on the fly.

You're trying to sell us a role that is not only from an era beyond MMPR, but that you're looking for Billy to save him. If that's your role, than how can you only be 87% sure that's you in the write-up. Who else could it be?

Day Eight

After having a pretty decent night, those involved in the war seemed to slow down today. Nowhere near as much discussion came about as they all stood around the youth center doing their own things.

There was barely even enough to get a lynch to go through.

At least a few did get questioned, and when one claimed to be from another planet, and that they were here to prevent something that hadn't started happening, just enough votes would be reached to push the decision through before night fell.

They drug their chosen victim to the middle of the room and hung the body, just as they had several others before.

Sometimes luck can work, just as well as skill.

Bear is dead. He was Baboo, Evil Aligned Scatterbrained Alchemist.

Night Eight

The moron wandered aimlessly tonight, searching for what seemed to be nothing. As he rounded a corner, he bumped into someone, a huge smile on his face as he glanced up to realize who it was. Of course, much like most others who seemed happy to see someone over the past week, his facial expression would soon change to one of pain.

His eyes roamed down to the weapon buried in his gut, a highl confused look on his face. He slumped before his attacker, and caught the back end of the weapon across his face.

"It's too dangerous to be out searching for people tonight."

She had taken to doing by herself what the three of them used to do. She wasn't quite as capable of it as they were as a group, but she would certainly try her hardest.

Of course, the rumble of giant footsteps approaching could only mean bad things. Much like on most nights previous, the attacker's giant sword crashed into the ground, startling the two humans. One managed to dive out of the way of a giant foot crashing down, while the other wouldn't be so lucky.

The one who managed to escape wouldn't be lucky for long though, as he barely had any time at all to react to the sword swinging across at him, knocking him back into a building.

In the distance, the fat moron stood, watching in horror. He shook his head, and ran away.

Lights flashed and sirens sounded throughout the large room. Everything seemed to come to life, causing Zordon to become concerned as he watched his command center with caution.

Only those with a power coin could enter this sacred place.

Unfortunately.

There was one with a power coin, who's entrance would not be welcome.

Now, it was happening. The thing Zordon dreaded most seemed to be happening right before his very eyes. Panels were torn open and wires ripped out. The attacker stopped for only a moment, glancing up at the source of the Ranger's hope.

"It's a shame they couldn't be here to see this. Goodbye Zordon."

The attacker used their weapon to fire repeated shots into the glass tube and control panels, explosions erupting from everything.

Zordon faded fast, the tube shattered. Just before his death, a wave erupted from his body, blasting through the attacker, who seemed confused as they glanced down at the object held in the weaponless hand.

Up until now, I'd been assuming that the Angel Grove folks would win and was planning on doing my best to help them (hence, my statement last phase that Bear looked suspicious).

However, after that 4 death night phase, I'm not so sure that you guys will win anymore. Based on my understanding of the last possible scenarios, this is going to be a very, very close game. I can post these scenarios later, if someone would like.

Anyhow, my current position:

I can win the game with Angel Grove. I can with the game with Black scum. I can with the game with Red scum. (If you guys can win together [canonically, the Red scum should be serving the Black scum], I can with Black and Red scum).

And so, I'm in the vote donating business at the moment. I pledge, to the degree that I am on and available, to vote on any bandwagon from now until the end of the game that is 1 from lynch. In other words, I'm a mercenary hammer.

Townies, feel free to count on me to hammer people. Scum, feel free to count on me to hammer people. If you guys don't want me to lynch someone specific, make sure that that person doesn't get to lynch minus 1 votes :o

The moron wandered aimlessly tonight, searching for what seemed to be nothing. As he rounded a corner, he bumped into someone, a huge smile on his face as he glanced up to realize who it was. Of course, much like most others who seemed happy to see someone over the past week, his facial expression would soon change to one of pain.

His eyes roamed down to the weapon buried in his gut, a highl confused look on his face. He slumped before his attacker, and caught the back end of the weapon across his face.

Skull being killed, I would assume, by a fake ranger.

"I have to go see Billy! He needs my help!"

"It's too dangerous to be out searching for people tonight."

She had taken to doing by herself what the three of them used to do. She wasn't quite as capable of it as they were as a group, but she would certainly try her hardest.

Of course, the rumble of giant footsteps approaching could only mean bad things. Much like on most nights previous, the attacker's giant sword crashed into the ground, startling the two humans. One managed to dive out of the way of a giant foot crashing down, while the other wouldn't be so lucky.

The one who managed to escape wouldn't be lucky for long though, as he barely had any time at all to react to the sword swinging across at him, knocking him back into a building.

In the distance, the fat moron stood, watching in horror. He shook his head, and ran away.

Aisha and Willy getting killed by the giant sword monster. Looks like someone saw something. Could help out if this someone would give us that something.

Lights flashed and sirens sounded throughout the large room. Everything seemed to come to life, causing Zordon to become concerned as he watched his command center with caution.

Only those with a power coin could enter this sacred place.

Unfortunately.

There was one with a power coin, who's entrance would not be welcome.

Now, it was happening. The thing Zordon dreaded most seemed to be happening right before his very eyes. Panels were torn open and wires ripped out. The attacker stopped for only a moment, glancing up at the source of the Ranger's hope.

"It's a shame they couldn't be here to see this. Goodbye Zordon."

The attacker used their weapon to fire repeated shots into the glass tube and control panels, explosions erupting from everything.

Zordon faded fast, the tube shattered. Just before his death, a wave erupted from his body, blasting through the attacker, who seemed confused as they glanced down at the object held in the weaponless hand.

Zordon being taken out by the guy who killed Tommy and took his power coin. Looks like Zordon had one final surprise though, so hopefully that gives us a night off from this guy.

Boost is merely possibility. Confusion at the object could mean anything. Maybe it's a micro machine. I worry that it's a boost, but am not certain of it. But the killer used a blaster, which I assume is a one handed weapon. Whatever appeared didn't seem to shatter his gun, just showed up in his off-hand.

OK...now that I have a normal set-up to work with, let me expand further on what I was saying before.

NOTE THAT AT THE MOMENT, ALL OF THIS IS PURELY SPECULATION.

We've established that the person/being who killed Tommy also killed Zordon, as was mentioned in the write-ups. The thing that got me to thinking was the "I have one of those too, Tommy" in reference to the Zords.

Now, we may have a red scum group of evil Rangers, but I don't think that they had Zords. The black scum certainly don't (and if they do, then my MMPR lore is sadly lacking).

In fact, only one group of people can even HAVE Zords: Power Rangers.

All of the Rangers in the MMPR era can be roughly accounted for. All of the replacements can also be roughly accounted for.

So if Rangers have Zords, and Tommy/Zordon's killer had a Zord...

...yeah, you can see where I'm going with this. There's another Ranger out there, an evil one, and it has to be from a different run. THAT, ladies and gents, is the SK.

Let's face it. Who alone in the first two seasons could take out Tommy Oliver? No one; hell, even the five Rangers had a difficult time defeating Tommy and the Dragonzord. So it can't be anyone in the first two seasons.

Unless someone has any better ideas as to an identity, right now I'm thinking that this is the guy we need to track down. If he could take out Zordon, whom I personally would have believed to have a bulletproof role due to his nature, then there's no telling what he could do to the rest of us.

Actually, if anything I have been conservative on the numbers. I have my ideas on who everybody is left in the game. Am I 100% correct on that? Possibly not.

But I can tell you that number is the least amount of people who could influence the vote on the side of the scum. I know how many I have, add you, add the SK add the night kills. Now it's completely possible that you can add somebody to that list that doesn't have a kill, if so they are not included in my numbers. So yeah, believe my numbers :)

As for Town hating you? If you stick with me, come day phase they wont have a majority to get a lynch through.

Your right about the voting in a way, there is at least one town left who hasn't voted but will. Thing is, somebody has to go first. You think that's all town on me now?

Keeping yourself alive isn't the objective. You win even if you're dead. If taking the hit keeps your team hid one more night, that's what's best for the team.

But if you HAVE to be alive to 'guarantee' the win, that means the converse is true, too.
