If your theory is correct then I'd give him top marks for creativity. Ultimately I think one or the other current options is likely to be scum, perhaps both.

Problem with that theory. At least if we're sticking with show continuity. The Green ranger was Tommy. To my knowledge, the only character have been on all three sides of the Rangers. Started off on the evil side. Then converted to good. And finally in one of the most recent seasons (and last one I watched) on Zordon's side mentoring the new crop of Rangers.

Unless this is rooted very early in the Power Ranger story arc, I would expect Tommy to be fully Angel Grove and have some sort of cavalry role. Seeing as that was the function he tended to serve once he was redeemed. He and his zord tended to provide the extra punch the other rangers needed when their efforts and zords alone weren't enough.

This sounds about right... Kinda... :)

Ultimately, I think it may be Goldar. She'd be surprised to see him standing behind her, weapon drawn. Also, she may have said "But I just..." because he had no reason to be there, having just won.

Now this is a theory I find very interesting. If memory serves, Goldar did end up going rogue on Rita's crew and I don't recall him ever having been friendly to the Rangers or Angel Grove even after his fall from Rita's grace. Again depending where we are in the arc, Goldar could be a very interesting character to find.

I told you. I ended up with an hour and half train ride with nothing to do but think about this game. My laptop died on me so all I did was think about what was said over and over again.

As I keep pointing out

1) derek gave a BIG clue about town that Astil and I both made very obvious that we got. You, however, did not. But seeing Astil change his vote made you quick to get off one bandwagon and then try and start a couple more.

You voted 5 times which is rather scummy. You were throwing your votes around in such a way that you could either pass them off as being serious if they stuck OR just say "lol, just kidding".

Wiggle room is the haven for scum.

2) Even though your character and ability are not that vital to the town, you refused to actually start defending yourself until you were almost 3/4 of the way to the gallows.

3) It took you 3 posts to finally make your claim. Not to mention as pointed out the scummy post where you said "Hey, I guess I better claim. BRB"

4) The typo. I didn't have it. Judging by derek's post, he didn't have it either.

5) General ****iness. You still haven't done anything to try and actually help the town, just try to undermine my arguements without actually giving us something else to work with.

6) You were really twisting and turning about how much I was pissing you off, but as SOON as I mentioned a deal, you jumped all over it.

7) Your posting attitude has not been one of a team player, it's been of a selfish person. You posted how you didn't care if you wasted a day phase because you weren't going to role claim.

8) All in all, you've aligned almost 100% with the way I attempted to defend myself in FF and I was totally scum. I mean, almost phase for phase.

First comes the ignorance (ignoring several of my "I'm FOSing you" posts.) then comes the hyper-defense (I'm not scum, YOU"RE SCUM!) then comes the "high road" defense (I'm not going to reveal any info because I don't think I need to) and finally FINALLY the crappy role claim (Fine, you got me. I'm really just a trivial, minor character who's inclusion in the game isn't guarenteed).

At least my scum claim was done for a purpose (to draw out Rinoa) but yours was an interesting attempt to fly under the radar.



Now, mjd brought up the point "wait, if crappy principal is in the game, why is deaf girl?"

But look at the stark differences between the two. Zero19 made several attempts to drop hints, first subtle and then even overt without that much pressure on him. He tried to help out town by identifying him as a safe AND he's been trying to help with the Self lynch by actually pointing out useful info (like the typo) instead of posting complete and utter garbage like Self has.

The dialogue fits him but Goldar/Scorpina were sort of a double act, so I doubt he'd kill her.

If I had to pick someone, I'd say Zedd, even though he never really did too much fighting first hand.

Something to note, the gender of the attacker is left out of that.

And think about it. MNN has hinted at being either Bulk or Skull to such an extent that either he's legit, or the real one's don't have the courage to out him.

And this "interviewer" thing... seems day powerish to me. If I was some kinda person who got information revealed to people by targetting them during the day for interviews... well, I'd start with the person who has hinted at a character who is for sure in this game and for sure town. That being MNN, of course.

Exhibit A: Kirk vs. the Gorn in Star Trek. Kirk didn't have the physical abilities to face the Gorn and his giant boulder one on one... but he did have the intelligence to recognize and put together the materials needed to create a primitive cannon.

I figure Astronauts would have a similiar advantage against cavemen. Not to mention one could whip out a flashlight and make them think he's god... assuming either side got to bring anything, that is.

1) derek gave a BIG clue about town that Astil and I both made very obvious that we got. You, however, did not. But seeing Astil change his vote made you quick to get off one bandwagon and then try and start a couple more.

This is your opinion. It is wrong. I understood it straight away (as soon as I saw his post anyway, I do have other things to do with a full-time job and all, so I'm not able to check every second of every day) and I thought taking my vote off made proved that I believed him, as good as a /nod. Your entire basis for this appears to be "but me and Astil said it first" which is flimsy.

You voted 5 times which is rather scummy. You were throwing your votes around in such a way that you could either pass them off as being serious if they stuck OR just say "lol, just kidding".

I was just playing around, throwing votes on whoever put them on me. I'd be STUNNED if anyone took them seriously, because no one was supposed to. The mafia equivalent of "Dude, you like Hairspray? That's pretty gay." "YOU'RE GAY!!!". It amused me at the time.

2) Even though your character and ability are not that vital to the town, you refused to actually start defending yourself until you were almost 3/4 of the way to the gallows.

Playstyle. The reason for which I've explained. I never throw about information unless I have to. I didn't do it as Ironhide. I held back as much as I could with Rikku. I just don't do it. I've had heat on me before, and the best strategy, for me, is usually just to ignore it, make a few jokes, and let something else come up. It hasn't this time, but that's hindsight. I don't reveal information after just a few votes.

He tried to help out town by identifying him as a safe AND he's been trying to help with the Self lynch by actually pointing out useful info (like the typo) instead of posting complete and utter garbage like Self has.

Me and Zero9Teen are different players. Some players like to drop clues about who they are, to make the town trust them. I however, don't. I examine write-ups, swap theories, work my Night ability, and generally DON'T give information on my role. I just... I just don't do it. I go as long as I can, while giving away as little information about myself as I can. It's practically my mafia motto.

You seem to assume that your lynching is a done deal, way i read it, people are suggesting you've been set up.

Frankly I don't know anything about Bulk, Gallstones, Power Rangers etc. If someone could explain what it means in game terms I'd change my vote (or leave it where it is) based upon how all this stuff relates to the show.

That is a good point; from his comments so far I would mark it down as a side effect of his tunnel vision on you but knowing Arrows it could be Bulk and Skull's win condition to get the principal lynched.

Not posting in character relieves me a bit. In my opinion you should reveal more and try to seal this lynch. I think you've wrapped up most vocal and if you reveal enough to be considered solid you'd probably be in that echelon where you either get protection or are simply too high profile for a scum to risk sending someone to you. Then again, IMO you're kinda already there and it's ultimately up to you.

I'm all for the D1 lynch in theory, and usually in practice as well. But Self's role only doesn't stack up if what you're saying holds weight. I think he's been acting somewhat scummy myself, but I want just a little bit more before I pull the trigger on my vote. I think Self is a good player and could potentially be an asset, if he wasn't scum.,,

I'm really on the fence here, I may end up voting for Self eventually regardless if it comes to that or a No-Lynch that provides no insight.

That is such a classic scum response. The key that separates a townie from scum is their team player-ness. A townie can still win if he's dead, especially early in the game. You have never at all seemed to care about the town as a whole, just talking about how you played poorly because you didn't like my attitude, or you don't think it's worth your time, and now you hope you get lynched just to prove me wrong?

We've already gotten almost a full claim out of 019. I don't know what more we can look at.

If I didn't have that warden info, I would have given Self the slide. In fact, I did. But then I realized what I had and so went back on the offensive.

I'm being hyper aggressive because I really want that D1 lynch, and with how it's proceeded so far, Self is more dangerous alive then dead. If he's alive, he's either scum OR if he's just a townie who really did screw things up then he's going to be distracting valuable townie resources from more important tasks.

We've already gotten almost a full claim out of 019. I don't know what more we can look at.

If I didn't have that warden info, I would have given Self the slide. In fact, I did. But then I realized what I had and so went back on the offensive.

I'm being hyper aggressive because I really want that D1 lynch, and with how it's proceeded so far, Self is more dangerous alive then dead. If he's alive, he's either scum OR if he's just a townie who really did screw things up then he's going to be distracting valuable townie resources from more important tasks.

At this point we NEED to lynch him no matter who he is so we can get our hands on some really valuable info. Voting patterns, discussion topics because if he ISN'T scum them the scum have known it all along, and boy will it show.

If he IS scum then again, they've known all along and it'll show as well.

Not much in your original argument made me think Self was scum. Now his defence was scummy as hell, and the more I read the more i bought into it. Now we have info coming from both sides, the most damning being the amount of wardens.

I guess what I'm saying is i don't really have a feel for either side and think we will get info come the writeup. If we see the principle handing our detentions then we have an answer. If we don't we have a direction.

I told you. I ended up with an hour and half train ride with nothing to do but think about this game. My laptop died on me so all I did was think about what was said over and over again.

As I keep pointing out

1) derek gave a BIG clue about town that Astil and I both made very obvious that we got. You, however, did not. But seeing Astil change his vote made you quick to get off one bandwagon and then try and start a couple more.

You voted 5 times which is rather scummy. You were throwing your votes around in such a way that you could either pass them off as being serious if they stuck OR just say "lol, just kidding".

Wiggle room is the haven for scum.

2) Even though your character and ability are not that vital to the town, you refused to actually start defending yourself until you were almost 3/4 of the way to the gallows.

3) It took you 3 posts to finally make your claim. Not to mention as pointed out the scummy post where you said "Hey, I guess I better claim. BRB"

4) The typo. I didn't have it. Judging by derek's post, he didn't have it either.

5) General ****iness. You still haven't done anything to try and actually help the town, just try to undermine my arguements without actually giving us something else to work with.

Not counting tamales... if you want good tamales, you find a woman legitimately from Mexico. In high school I did film work for the football team (after I was forced into early retirement), and the guy I worked with was a rather plump Mexican guy... his mom would send him a giant cooler full of fresh tamales every game day, and I soon discovered why he was so portly in nature. Otherwise, I've found legitimate Mexican food... bland in flavor. Gotta have Tex-Mex. Not Cal-Mex, that west coast bastardization with all the friggin' oranges, but legit Tex-Mex.

The issue I see with this is that I've already outed myself basically. Warden's are decent targets for scum, and clueing them into the large amount of warden's is plenty of info to give to scum D1.

I will not bring down any other players with me, I will not out players who's information I have acertained.

I will say that I am 100% correct about there being 3 wardens, or a better way to put it would be 3 players with warden like abilities in this game already. That I know.

3 wardens IS a huge amount, which is why when I found out there were 3 townie wardens and on top of that Self, a player who (as many besides myself have pointed out) has acted scummy as hell, comes out and claims a questionable character with a warden ability, that's when I resumed my bloodlust.

Now I can understand people dragging their feet, but really, come on now.

Alright, I'm at work so I can't pour through and multi-quote but I will address several issues that have been raised and hopefully clear the path for that good ole' bandwagon to get on rolling

Before you ask me this, ask yourself: "How useful could this information be to scum before I pry it out of PP." If I reveal more information, it WILL put other players at risk. Namely because I know their abilities and alignments which is always useful for scum groups to have. Wardens are powerful characters, they protect and roleblock so can be used for both protection, roleblocking, or both, a very versatile ability. Now ask yourself is it really worth exposing other powerfully helpful players to scum crosshairs JUST so we can lynch someone who's acted scummy as hell already?

Before you finish that statement, look at what you just said. I should just start quoting people and bolding this part of their statements. Self has acted scummy. What more do you need to lynch that guy?

Why? The only people that know for absolute certain whether Self is scum are the scum. As much as I'm baying for blood, I will acknwoledge that there is a very slim chance this game does have 4 wardens (or more?) that Self IS actually the principal and that maybe, just maybe, he's actually town aligned.

I'd bet a significant chunk of change that at least one of those possabilities is false though.

So, the only people who really know who's scum are and aren't are scum. So any time a lynch occurs, patterns can emerge. Scum can try and hide it, but that reveals other patterns. The more votes that happen, the more likely it is that someone will get caught. This will provide the evidence needed for future lynches.


5) I don't like D1 lynches...


If we don't lynch now, we end the phase with nothing. I will have exposed a LOT of useful townie info to scum with no payoff. This will ONLY help scum. A mislynch will not help scum nearly as much as a no lynch because Self IS the center of attention at the moment. We know it, scum knows it to. So while we're all focusing our attention on him, we're wasting valuable townie resources that are better spent searching through the ranks trying to pick up useful investigative info.

Plus when the results come back that Self is scum, then we have to waste another day phase lynching him.

Right now town needs information. The only way we can be 100% sure of Self is when he's dead. He might turn up town because he's a don. He might be an indy...who knows? We can if we lynch him.

And look at risk=reward. We have the potential for lynching scum D1! This will give us valuable intel on what kind of scum are out there. Like for example, maybe he IS the principal but really is a Don of a second scum group. For example, there could be 2 scum groups, one which are the Rita/Zedd baddie monsters, another one that represents the many non-monster antagonists that the rangers encounter. Bulk and Skull are considered bullies...not to point fingers but would it be that outlandish for them to be the hitmen of a non-monster scum group?

But even though I'm assuming many have already speculated, confirming those speculations would both dramatically shorten my life expectancy and potentially throw suspicion on fellow townies who I really would not want to out for the sake of one scummy scum.

I mean, I'm willing to go 1:1 for scum, but 2:1 or 3:1 or worse starts to make things less enticing.

When I got my tacos and there was nothing but the beef/chicken, I was like "sweet, I'll find the taco bar". When I discovered there was no taco bar, I almost threw them back over the counter. Usually a day that ends with people bored to tears, our first day of the invasion seems to be big. For most of the day two sides argued, momentum rising and falling in favor of both. Neither side truly able to end the debate, the town focused on it for most of the day. Not even a message over the television seemed able to truly settle things.

In the end, they were unable to come to a conclusion about what they believed. No rope would be needed on this day.

Not that it matters now. But this part really irritates me.

He was "self-proclaimed" MVP because he was part of a powerful mason group with a kickass investigative power. As the reveals notice, he had info that treton was a vote manipulator and sat on it for a day or two before revealing it, and even then it wasn't anything subtle or amazing, just

"tretons a vote manipulator." Sure he was valuable as Rikku but anyone can be valuable if they're a part of a mason group with investigative powers.

I outed Sylar in Hollywood Horrors because I had a list of suspects handed to me by the mods.

And that's also implying that good players can't be scum? Wouldn't it be more dangerous to have a good player playing as scum? Finally, Self made some very poor decisions this day phase. Not saying that I didn't, but considering the way he acted, even go so far as saying "I don't really care about this game"... how in the heck does that keep someone out of the gallows?

I'll admit, the first 1/2 of the rush was to get info out of Self who was being very close lipped. The recent push, however, came from his claimed ability and knowledge gleaned from my personal role.

While it would have been more awesome if another person stepped forward with a counter-claim, I think counter-claiming warden(s) should be pretty damning evidence IF you assume I'm telling the truth.

But then again, as town why would I lie about something like this? And as scum, I'd be a complete dumbass for putting so much attention on myself.

I stepped into the spotlight and took the bandwagon reigns loudly and proudly.

And as a personal note, I don't dummy up evidence just to prove my point. You'll notice that before then I didn't say I had incontrivertible evidence, I said I had very strong feelings about Self being scum to the point that I was writing him as scum in my books.

This is true. At least Self has given us his full role title, even if it is a false one.

I'm just looking at this from all angles and scenarios. I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong.

Semantics aside, I don't believe your ability because there are too many wardens, or more specifically too many townie wardens. So I"m going with a 2/3 factor when I look at you.

You have a role: Mr. Kaplan
You have an affiliation: green townie
YOu have an ability: wardan

At least one of the above isn't true, I'm wiling to give you 2/3 but I just can't believe there are 4 townie wardens. 3 is pretty crazy, but 4? Especially one so completely unrelated to the others.

Affiliation could be suspect because I seem to remember the power rangers being thrown into detention in an episode or two.

I'm not trying to necessarily defend Self but his aggressive play early in the game is very out of character in general.
