Cannot get the mods to work

First of all, thanks for the freeware. Have been thinking about getting 08 for ages now and this will probably push me over the edge.

Problem is I can't get any of the mods to work. Have followed the steps shown in one of the links from the threads below but I keep getting an error message that in essence says

Missing data No wrestlers found
Missing data no promotions found
Bunch of no locations
Missing data no match types found

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. Followed all the steps so any chance of a for dummies guide

basicly what i do is 1st unzip the the data then i open up my program files GDS on my computer then copy and drag over everything into the data file of whatever i named the database. Also what do you use winware i use IZ Arch .
