When a fighter retires, he is replaced by what I understand to be a randomly regenerated fighter.

After getting BCF to the #1 position, I've realised that there's not quite enough fighters in the game (e.g. there are no unemployed LHWs in my game, and most companies are short in this weight class)

It would be excellent if we had the ability to generate a number of random new regens to import/add into the DB as required.

As the process already happens when the game creates a new fighter, is this something that would be simple to add, even if you had to create the random fighters one at a time?

FWIW I think this is a great idea!

If you want to do that you should create new fighters in the editor and import them in. The feature you are suggesting would favour the user and be a disadvantage to the AI. Because they would not be able to create these new people and if they pop up with 0% popularity and reputation like regens AI companies will be unlikely to hire them and you can just take your pick of them.

It is like real life the way it is, who says that in 5 years time people will want to fight in the Light Heavyweight division. IF i was greeted with this scenario i would edit my divisions so that HW's and LHW's are merged.

This makes no sense, it favors the user even more if you can create a fighter exactly how you want and then import them.

One thing I did is I took some of the artwork from one of the threads and made guys that will retire right away. Then they were all random guys. Or you can use existing artwork and make new guys that will retire. I have a few dubs in my game. Doesn't bother me that I have two guys that look the same.

That is an excellent idea for a workaround - next new game I start I will follow this tip. Cheers.
