The continent of Ry sprang alive in a span of two years as fourteen states became recognized by all three nations. However this acceptance did not always mean assistance. True the Holy Order of the Force did offer financial assistance to there brothers across the Gulf of Force the Czech Dominion, but this was an isolated incident. To be frank, the overruling emotion among the states of the early ninth century was fear of the unknown.
The era of peace continued to reign in Ry during this time. At most came a small amount of posturing and a large amount of festivities and joy over the newly independent states. The Country of Cornell held a grand ceremony near the end of 800, proclaiming the week ending the year the Festival of Independence.
Thomas XII made a speech at the end of the festival dinner held at the Cornell Estate. To the nobles of Cornell he declared “Great changes are coming not just for Cornell but for all of Ry. New states rise up, and we shall meet theses states with cooperation and friendship.”
These where not the only festivals that featured major speeches. At the Jimday Parade, JIm Force VI made a speech wishing all states luck under the guidance of the Force. He singled out another country. “There is another state, a superpower of Ry, who believes in the Force and it’s power of all of Ry. They too drink from the holy waters of the Gulf of Force, and they too look west upon the great blue vastness. The state that declared itself the Czech Dominion shall be known as under the protection of the Holy Order of the Force. May the Force be with us all.”
Another event of the year 800 that brought attention was the grand ball in Bangervania. The newly proclaimed Head Winston Aloysius Leonardo Lawrence Banger held a large and well received celebration. This Head Banger’s Ball captured the hearts and imagination of all the classes of Bangervania and drove them to try harder in life, improving the entire stock of Bangervania.
The year 801 was a rather uneventful year, as most of the states where building relations inside of there own walls. A few ramped up for a conflict, but the world remained peaceful and the states prospered for it.
At the 801 Festival of Independence Thomas XII came out with a dire warning. “There is talk of the Holy Order of Force becoming allied to other states near it. Strong and powerful states. While the Country of Cornell will not meddle in the affairs of other nations, we will not let there armies amass at our southern borders. We will keep our eye to our south. We warn all states not to plot, or the Grand Army will knock on there door for answers.”
