World Championship Wrestling to returning to ABC this week to air WCW Nitro.This week is going to be big and will see the TV Debut of the "Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Micheals after he made his debut last night and helped Steve Austin retain the World title at the Great American Bash.What will Arn and Ric have to say.
Sting and Savage battled in the Hell in a Cell last night and Sting was able to come victorious, what will Savage have to say
Roma was able to finally beat Vader and he was able to win the United States title and Vader says that he will get his title back someway.
Avalanche has grown into a Big star here in WCW and Scott Steiner,who just got here, has been attacking and calling out Avalanche, but last night Avalanche was able to shut Steiner up.
Eddie Guerrero, a popular Mexican Luchadore, makes his WCW Debut.All of this and more on WCW Nitro!

I do dig the old school WCW. I liked them back in the 80's. I loved the Horsemen running wild and having all the belts. That style, with no mats, when guys where tough as nails and you didn't need a chair, just a piledriver or a powerful lariat. The good old days.

No Introduction for the announcers as right after the Nitro Intro Music Video, Shawn Micheals “Sexy Boy” Music hits and he walks to the ring taking in all the boo's. He gets in the ring and gets a microphone and just sits there for a moment

Wow WCW, is way different than I thought. Here I though you would accept me as a great superstar and is leaving the sinking ship of the other League. But guess you don't(he chuckles to himself) Most of that should be for being with Steve Austin.(Crowd Boo's lowdly) Why you booing?? He is your World Champion and needs respect. He has had that title since January, and looks like he won't be losing it. Which brings me to say why I am with Austin. Mike Tenay- Fans, this afternoon I caught up with Sting and got his thoughts on the Hell in a Cell he went through last night

Sting is seen sitting on a chair and in front of him is Mike

Mike Tenay- Sting, as we all saw at Great American Bash you were in one of the most violet matches World Championship Wrestling has even seen. How is your condition?

Sting-Well, I'm in so bad of shape that I am not at Nitro(He chuckles) But in all seriousness, that match took a lot out of me. I think after that, I have shut Randy Savage up.

Mike Tenay- Is it over between you and Savage?

Sting- I hope it is but knowing Savage it is not over. Savage will say that he should of won, Sting cheated. Blah Blah Blah, and all that other stuff, he says. So I hope so, but my gut feeling is it is not

Mike Tenay- When are you returning to Nitro?

Sting- That is a hard one Mike. Still have to see my doctors because I don't know if I am more injured than I think.

Mike Tenay- Do you think your age affected your performance

Sting- Yes, that is a big fat yes. I am getting older, 35 Years and been on top for a lot of the years. So my body has been getting a lot of punishment during this time.


Mike Tenay- Is it time to hang up the boots?

Sting- I don't think so. I am enjoying WCW and enjoy everything here except for a few guys in the bank(He chuckles) So after I think I should retire, I will retire.

Mike Tenay- Sting thank you for this time

Sting- No Problem Mike, I will be watching Nitro on ABC

Steve Austin defeated Paul Roma in 5:22 by pinfall following interference from Vader. The match also had a lot of interference: Arn Anderson targeted Austin, Ric Flair attacked Austin, and finally Shawn Micheals interfered against Austin.

After the match, Austin and Micheals and Anderson and Flair and Vader and Roma continue their brawling and then tons of Staff come running down trying to break it up, but with no luck fails as the 8 continue to brawl even more. Then Micheals superkicked Flair out of the ring and then Anderson spine busted Shawn and threw him out of the ring. Vader goes for Anderson and chucks him out of the ring. Roma is seen on the top rope and hits a Elbow on Vader! Vader rolls out of the ring and Roma stands tall!


Thats till Austin comes and nails Roma with his World Title and US Title. So Austin stands tall!

Eric's music hits and he stands on the entrance with a Microphone
Eric-I don't know what made this happen, but I have decided to book another match for Thunder! It will be Steve Austin defending his World Title against HBK and Anderson and Flair and Vader and Roma! In a Elimination Match in the Main Event!


Nitro ends with Austin standing in the middle of the ring with the WCW Title in hand

Show opens with the huge WCW Fireworks and then the the Nitro Video airs and then it goes to Jim Ross and Bobby Heenan who preview the whole show. After that it goes to the ring for the opening contest

After the match the four superstars brawl afterward and the only way they could be stopped when when a lot of Security separate them. Randy Savage gets the last laugh on Sting as he hits him with a chair and Avalanche also gets the final laugh as he hits him with the same chair and Avalanche and Savage leave together

COMMERCIAL BREAK

After the commercial break it goes to Mick Foley who is sitting in his Lockeroom with his Television title beside him

Mick Foley- So, Rock thinks he can beat him huh? Well I didn't want to tell him but I will win at Bash at the Beach. I mean, I already got a reason now. He was a WCW.com match, I am live on TV. So Rock you think you are as good as me well don't just be on WCW.com be on TV like Foley is. I need to take a shower now, but Rock get ready to lose cause I am going to kick your ass at Bash at the Beach
Afterwards it goes to Dustin who is in the ring with a worried look on his face knowing he is facing his brother Cody and Terri is trying to comfort Dustin as he gets ready for Cody. Dusty's music hits and Dusty walks out with 10 Year Old Cody with Basketball Shorts and Running shoes with a Micheal Jordan shirt on.

Dustin doesn’t even get in the ring with Cody, he just sits there outside while Cody taunts his older brother. Because of this the Referee counts Dustin out.

Dustin starts to walk to the back till Cody gets his attention, and says “Look forward!” He looks around and gets clotheslined by Dusty. Dusty grabs a Bullrope and hits Dustin Multiple times in his back! Till Referees come running down to get him off. Dusty gets off volunteerly and Dustin gets up with multiple shots on his back. Dustin goes to the back his head still down and Dusty and Cody hugging in the ring.


A Video then airs hyping up Triple H and Kurt Angle as a Tag Team and when the video end, they are in the ring standing next to each other

Kurt Angle- I am Kurt Angle
Together- And we are the best Tag Team around here in World Championship Wrestling
Triple H- Most people don't think we are and the way to prove that is we will win this tourney and then beat the Tag Team Champions.
Kurt Angle- We are the most talented, Charismatic and anything else!
Triple H- But people still don't think that Angle
Kurt Angle- But Triple H! There is one person that thinks that!
Triple H- Really? Wait I know who you are talking about, you are talking about this guy!(Harley Race goes through the curtain the enters the ring) Here he is. My Man Harley Race!

Triple H-(He shakes Harley Hands) Thank you( He then looks at the camera) It all starts with us winning the Tag Titles(They all leave together)

After the Break, it goes to the ring where Sid and Meng are getting ready to face the WCW Tag Champs in Non-Title Action.

Afterwards, a Video starts hyping Eddie Guerrero. It shows clips of his Mexican CMLL and AAA Matches plus highlights from his debut against Johnny B. Badd on Monday. Its ends with Eddie saying “ Here I come WCW”

Also World Championship Wrestling is proud to announce that they have agreed to a contract with Jeff Jarrett! He worked for WWF and it was expring and Jeff quickly signed with WCW. It is a 504 Day Contract worth about $3,175 Dollars a month. This is huge for WCW and he will begin to work in 6 Days. He can start working in July but WCW doesn't want to reveal when he will debut or will he keep the same gimmick, Heel or Face? The Only way to see is if you watch WCW Nitro and Thunder! Steve Austin vs Scott Steiner vs Sting. With the change to Rock and Giant, i don't think they can steal the show. Neither are good enough at this point to really put on a great match. Sting/Austin/Steiner are all good at this point and they should be able to handle the spotlight and the in ring wrestling.

Honestly Roma wasn't that bad a worker, if i had him, i'd keep him as a solid midcarder, let him win the TV or IC titles from time to time. I think my irrational hatred of him comes from his time as a 4 Horseman.

I do like the more historical mods. Being able to take a shot at saving WCW works for me. I loved the old nwa/wcw from back in the day. I don't know if i could run WWF back in the day, turning it into the attitude era. That was a genius turn that i didn't think of at the time.

WCW has announced that they will start on a International Tour starting next week. It will span all of June and WCW will attempt one of this atleast once a year depending on how it goes. The WCW Supershow will be a Supershow that is not taped for TV but will be availblie to watch on WCW.Com on Sunday for that week execpt for the Japanense Supershow which will be Live on WCW.com.
