JT Money 5.0 - Real World Mod

This mod is extremely up to date as of today, 10/25/11. The active fighter count is now 2,728, up from 2,663. Any TUF fighter on this season's show that was not in the last update has been added. I also messed around with the Reputation/Aura ratings a lot this time around. I like how it turned out and I'm sure some of you will to (although others probably won't). There are 30 active companies. As always, any comments, recommendations, or corrections are welcomed. Hope you enjoy!

Tony Ferguson stats are way too low imo
Anderson Silva should have higher than 60 sub offense. He has a great triangle.

I've only played a month. Nothing super noticable, but Yusaku Nakamura is listed as a Light Heavyweight. He is actually a Bantamweight.

Looks good. Still not a fan of how popularity (Ben Henderson international?) and reputation is worked out in this mod, but everything is very solid. Good stats, good graphics, very deep and well-done.

I don't mind Ben H as international - in the MMA world, he prob is. Just, but that counts. btw, taking the MMA world as US, Canada, Brazil, UK and Japan / SE Aisa in the main. Bendo is certainly known in the majority of those places by a decent proportion of UFC fans.

The game prob limits the rankings as well and forces them to be done this way.

Yeah, I'm fine with the way Jay T scales his popularity/reputation because it's hard to successfully run UFC otherwise. You won't have enough marketable fights to sustain the company's starting level.

It started to speed up for me after the first couple months of signings and camp joinings.

I have never played a real-life mod but I am interested in trying one out ... Exactly how slow is it, as compared to the default database? (which I also find kind of slow, as it is).

Is there any way to speed things up?

takes a long time to load the first few days of the mod. then picks up.

If you go into the mod maker and delete all of the fight history that may speed things up. I'm not sure how much that does/does not slow things down. I like a deep fight history as can be seen by my mod.

Question .... How are regens handled in this mod?

Would there be any possible way to get regens to use the renders of the original database characters in the game?

I'd like to play a real-life mod but I think it would ruin the immersion for me to start seeing regens pop up with pictures of real-life figthers who had retired. Since they are fictional fighters, it would be great if it was possible to get them to use the already created fictional renders that are in the default database.

Any ideas or thoughts on this?

Great job on this mod, I hardly ever play with real world mods but I thought I would give this a go. And I really am enjoying it!

I love the massive amount of fighters there are to choose from when you are building your own promotion.

Next update will probably be sometime early next year.

You would have to change popularity, tv shows, skills, contracts and their record. Their is one mode that is easy for you to reavch the begining of pride, dawn of mma.

Or download the Pride vs. UFC mod from the WMMA 2 mod section, convert it then all you need to do is edit the eras and ethnicities.
