GAMMA ANNOUNCES NEW SHOW ON SPORTS AMERICA!

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - Today, GAMMA CEO, Lance Decker announced the arrival of a new show on Sports America. GAMMA Future Stars is scheduled to run a sixteen man tournament featuring heavyweight fighters, who will fight to earn a GAMMA contract and a $200,000 dollar tournament prize. Decker also revealed the tournament brackets, listing thenames of the fighters who are participating. Lets get to know the fighters a little better...

Chuck "The Laughing Man" Dooley (3-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/ChuckDooley.gif
6'4", 23 Years Old
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Wrestling
Scouting Report: A hulking wrestler from Canada, Chuck Dooley is the personification of explosive power. Boasting a fantastic double leg which hits with the force of a locomotive, Dooley excels at putting people on their backs and destroying them with ground and pound.

Efren Luat (3-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/EfrenLuat.gif
6'3", 23 Years Old
Manila, Phillippines
Wrestling
Scouting Report: The enormous Filipino Efren Luat is a frightening prospect to deal with; having to cut considerable weight just to make it to 265lbs means he almost always has a big weight advantage, and on top of that he has heavy hands and very, very good grappling ability, particularly when it comes to pressing opponents up against the cage or ropes and wearing them down with strikes. His one glaring weakness is his cardio.

Giovanni de Matos (1-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/GiovannideMatos.gif
6'0", 21 Years Old
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Kick Boxing
Scouting Report: A striker who is well known for his devastating leg kicks, Giovanni de Matos is a formidable opponent when it comes to stand-up battles. His ground game is fairly weak however, although he does have the skills to defend himself fairly well.

Iancu Trailescu (3-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/IancuTrailescu.gif
6'10", 22 Years Old
Bucharest, Romania
Kick Boxing
Scouting Report: One of the tallest men in MMA, the 6'10 Romanian striker Iancu Trailescu has extremely dangerous kicks and, while his hands lack power, his long reach makes his punches a force to be reckoned with too. Like most tall fighters, his weakness is if he gets put on his back.

Jozef "Pole Ax" Jankowski (2-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/JozefJankowski.gif
6'4", 22 Years Old
Warsaw, Poland
Kick Boxing
Scouting Report: A Heavyweight kick boxer, Poland's Jozef Jankowski hits very hard and very often, and can be simply devastating if given the opportunity. The rest of his MMA game does not yet match up to his striking, but he has time to improve.

Jutaro Honma (1-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/JutaroHonma.gif
6'2", 24 Years Old
Osaka, Japan
Sumo Wrestling
Scouting Report: Coming from a Sumo background, Jutaro Honma is a big fighter who works from up-close. His grappling and ability to control fighters is good, and his excellent balance makes him hard to take down. However, his striking is mediocre at best, and he has problems finishing fights.

"The Great Japanese Hope" Kanezane Fujii (1-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/KanezaneFujii.gif
6'2", 20 Years Old
Yokohama, Japan
Judo/Wrestling
Scouting Report: "The Great Japanese Hope" Kanezane Fujii is a youngster who many in the East feel could become a superstar. Trained in both wrestling and Judo, the big man is very good when up close, but also has the natural power to be dangerous when swinging for the fences. For a Heavyweight, he has very good submission skills.

Nate "Big Mac" MacReary (2-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/NateMacReary.gif
6'3", 22 Years Old
Greater Napanee, Ontario
Ground and Pound
Scouting Report: About as forgiving as a brick wall, the enormously powerful freak athlete Nate "Big Mac" MacReary is a tough opponent to be saddled with; virtually unmovable due to his size, strength and wrestling skill, once he has hold of his victim there's usually not much chance of escape.

Ozzy Bintley (0-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/OzzyBintley.gif
6'2", 23 Years Old
Worcester, England
Mixed Martial Arts
Scouting Report: Although he has yet to step into the cage, there is already a buzz developing about the young English fighter Steven "Ozzy" Bintley. A natural tough guy, prior to getting involved with MMA he took part in triathlons and other endurance tests for fun, trained in boxing, and for a short time was even on the books as a professional for a major rugby club. With his background and obvious drive, Bintley could be something special in the making.

Pai Cheng (3-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/PaiCheng.gif
6'4", 19 Years Old
Shanghai, China
Wrestling
Scouting Report: Pai Cheng is a big powerful Heavyweight from China. Primarily a wrestler, and a very good one at that, Cheng's exceptional balance allows him to both control opponents and be virtually impervious to takedowns. On top of his grappling, he also has a lot of raw power in his hands, making him a dangerous opponent.

Renato (3-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/Renato.gif
6'2", 24 Years Old
Curitiba, Brazil
Sambo
Scouting Report: A huge powerhouse from Brazil, Renato has big power in his hands but unfortunately hasn't yet learnt how to throw them with any degree of speed or accuracy. Instead, he prefers to use his wrestling to control opponents and smother them for the win.

"The Dallas Cowboy" Sam Hoynes (1-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SamHoynes.gif
6'4", 21 Years Old
Dallas, Texas
Wrestling
Scouting Report: The big cowboy Sam Hoynes is a rough, tough Heavyweight fighter. A wrestler, he loves to bully opponents around with his grappling before dropping them to the mat and blasting them with ground and pound. One for the future, Hoynes could be a big star one day.

Sly "Bully Boy" Twinge (3-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SlyTwinge.gif
6'2", 22 Years Old
Denver, Colorado
Close-Quarters Grappling
Scouting Report: A dangerous heavyweight from Denver, Sly Twinge is widely regarded as one of the physically strongest men in MMA and he uses that power to bully his opponents around. A capable striker who has the ability to end fights with one punch, his big weakness is his poor ground game.

"The Urban Cowboy" Steve Mason (5-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SteveMason.gif
6'3", 24 Years Old
Houston, Texas
Kick Boxing
Scouting Report: A good young Heavyweight prospect, Steve Mason is a former kick boxer. He possesses dangerous strikes, and also has some under-rated ground and pound.

Tomoji "HULK" Takaoka (1-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/TomojiTakaoka.gif
6'1", 24 Years Old
Sendai, Japan
Sumo Wrestling
Scouting Report: A sumo star in his native Japan, Tomoji "Hulk" Takaoka left the sport in late 1996 in order to prepare himself for the challenge of MMA. His background has given him uncanny balance for a man his size, making him almost impossible to take down, but he currently lacks the striking or submission skills to make him an attacking threat.

Vitor de Melo (4-0)
http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/VitordeMelo.gif
6'0", 22 Years Old
Recife, Brazil
Vale Tudo
Scouting Report: Vitor de Melo is a physically intimidating Heavyweight from Brazil who nobody can take lightly - he has devastating power in his hands and is not shy about using it. As well as his knock out threat, de Melo also has extremely under-rated wrestling skills and some vicious ground and pound at his disposal.

Anything with Kanezane Fujii in it just sucks for everybody else.

Fujii does usually dominate the heavyweight's but this tournament is pretty packed with talent and everyone's young and inexperienced. I've already got two shows down and there's quite a few upsets or fights I would have thought would go down differently.
