Boom Town is my town. There maybe better known superheroes here. The likes of Mr. Infinity, who everybody knows is just passing by, Improbable Man, and a list of super teams that include the Renowned Nuclear Family consisting of Big Chill, Miss Atomic, Mister Meltdown, and Raging Fire. And the Boom Town CAT"S with Miss Fortuna, Miss Spark, and Miss Torrent. One would think this town would be safe. But when your town has a nuclear reactor in it, strange things happen. Strange things happen all the time in other towns as well. And when we super heroes started to spring up, that means super powered villains as well.
My name is Commander Sam. And I live here in Boom Town. I had developed special powers during one of the worst times ever, puberty. As if things during that time are not difficult enough. Try managing to not crush or blow something up during those years. Never tried out for the football team, did not do track, just went home and tried like hell not to destroy the block. But it did teach me how to focus, and to be self reliant.
My parents moved from Principal City to start a business and to raise me in a healthy environment, thanks guys, like a nuclear reactor almost smack in the middle of town is healthy. But anyway, perhaps you may of heard of us, Porterhouse Homes?
By age 16 I had broken up my first convince store robbery. It happened and I did it with out thought behind it. Three men had stepped into the store and had begun to work over the clerk as I had walked in. Of course they made me reach for the sky. I glanced around the place a quick second to see if anyone else was there, and blew them a kiss. A frosty kiss that froze them in place. Unfortunately, or fortunately, however you looked at it, froze everybody including the clerk himself. It was probably a good thing considering it wasn't too smart on my part to freeze the crooks in front of eyes that could report me. I disappear as the cops arrive.
And thats how my life as a superhero began. Since then my powers have grown, and I have learned to control them. Yeah Boom Town might be a little weird, but its my home. This is my town. And I am proud as the other heroes in defending her.
