Working on a basic Marvel mod, and it occured to me that there's a possibility Eddie Brock will switch to his Venom Alternate before Spidey has been bonded to the Symbiote, or even worse, at the same time. Could there be a feature for inhereited powers/names/items?

I like this idea, bassically it's a "Z" is a possibility, but only after "X" and "Y" has happened. Eddie cannot become Venom, untill after Spidey has.
I'll bring up a point I made in another thread though, which is... The use of the ATD system. You can set up the mod exactly like you want it, then move it up in time by simply copying all the character's and adding them into another time stream... This way a player can decide to start in whichever timestream they want (Spidey as Venom, or Eddie as Venom, just be sure to have one or the other as Venom, not both), and perhaps get the time travel attribute, so they can "Visit" other time streams as well. This hasn't been used much, if at all in the default database, so I understand why poeple keep forgetting about that.

I always thought of the Time as being full Eras, like in Marvel, we'd have World War II, Marvel Age (Amazing Fantasy #14, Fantastic Four #1 etc), Civil War, Modern Age or whatever. Using them to progress the game just seems like a little too much work, because you'd have to progress EVERYONE into the modern era.
At the moment, I'm just going to not have Eddie Brock active in the Game World (On Hiatus), so that hopefully Spiderman will have changed his costume and gone back before Eddie changes. Hopefully.

Problem with the ATD system is that you actively have to transfer over to it, and it leaves out a bit of fun.
Going to play the game, having some things come up (though not all that much), then having to stop and say "Oh, it's time for Venom, so I'll put my Spider-man in the next Timeframe so Eddie can become Venom."
Where's the fun in that.
We need "Narratives" from TEW to change the Universe. Or truly RANDOM events.
The symbiote takes over, say, Betsy Bryant!!!! That'll shake things up.
But, still, that's something that has to be created. Which is why I never really used the Narratives in TEW. Have to create them all, and not really fun/surprising.

/nod, narratives would be a dream. Problem is how fast you can go through the game, if each time you go out is considered a day/night or 24 hour period, we can go through a year in a day... going through all the narratives in a week, unless we figure that the days are not actually split up like that. Perhaps when we go out, it's only a couple of hours to make sure everything is going well, and every six times is a day (Kind of like that myself). That was we aren't going through a year a day...
I really think the alternates could be useful in that sense though, if we had a way to say which alternate would be first/last. A numerical progression of the character or something.
