Redshirt Problem

I forgot to redshirt a player during training, but did so after the season began. Although he's not on my depth chart, he keeps showing up as a sub when I play a game. Is there any way I can stop this and is he still considered a redshirt?

Try the latest beta patch and let me know if it still happens:

If it does please zip and send your save to heavyreign@hotmail.com. As long as he doesn't appear in a game he should be considered a redshirt. I've been trying to track this down and have put in code to prevent it but I've never been able to recreate the issue.

Thanks for your reply. I just decided to activate the player as he's better than the guy he's replacing. Will downloading the beta patch affect my game in any way as I'd prefer not to? Or does it have other benefits? Really like the game, by the way.

The current version is expected to become the official 2.3.0 release once there have been a few days to make sure there are no issues with the patch. I wouldn't expect there to be anything you would want to avoid.
