When Rip Chord opened the Mid Atlantic Wrestling school, one of his first students was a young man from Miami Springs, Florida. Having lied about his age to get in, Rip Chord quickly found out but the youngster's tenacity, potential, passion, and killer heel look convinced Chord to keep him on board, and even let him debut at sixteen-and-a-half years old, on the condition that he had to be privately tutored so he can have an education to fall back on.
