Well I think you can tell it's a hoax from the story itself - Phil doesn't work for Grey Dog, if PWSE had been "bought" by GDS then why would Phil be involved?

Seems to me like you've got someone from that board with too much time on their hands trying to drum up more hate against me by making false stories....and sadly it'll probably work given some of the people who use the forums over there. You'd think they'd have gotten over the fact I don't make freeware games any more sometime in the past 2 years :confused:

That post doesn't look like Phil, the language used is all wrong. I think you're being hoaxed, and posting what you did on the front of PWSE won't have helped matters - seems someone's seeking attention and you're giving it to them.

It could possibly be a hoax but JP (former owner) seemed to confirm the matter in a reply to that same thread. I also think I picked up an implication that, if it is a hoax, I am the one that started it.

I'm not particularly fond of creating rumours and, quite frankly, I have better things to waste my time with.

Well, I have a hard time buying it. Either way, I think the post you have made on the front of PWSE is wrong - even if Phil has bought it, you're attacking GDS, a company he doesn't work for or hold any power with.

EDIT - I was not implying you started the hoax, I was saying that I think you are handling it very badly by making a public post attacking GDS, who have nothing to do with this, on the front of the site.

The news post has been removed by me. I also have a hard time buying it. I have no power to redirect the PWSE.net link to GDS so it could not have been me.

I don't think it is Phil, although whoever is doing the impersonating is hilarious. He really nailed down the insane speaking and ludacris mind set of said man.
