This is a huge location mod for TEW 2005 created from scratch by tnafan and flaviooooo. It includes specific arenas and venues from around the world. The file can just be copied over your existing location.tew file.

Here's what's included:

- 1,369 specific arenas/venues, all in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe.

The sizes of these locations are very accurate. I rounded up or down to fit them into these categories and the game restraints. Suggestions or comments are welcome!

Version 2 Released!
- adapted data to new "Tiniest" location
- added more US Tiny and Tiniest locations
- added locations in Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia
- added Adam's default locations to fill in locations I haven't done or won't do (Mexico, Japan, Europe)

Version 3 Released!
- added locations of various sizes in The Maritimes and The Prairies (Canada)

Version 4 Released!
- merged flaviooooo's UK and European location mod to the data
- includes over 600 locations from those two game areas
- added about 25 Tiniest locations in US
- changed name of Viking Hall
- deleted Winnipeg Arena and added Winnipeg Convention Centre, also updated Winnipeg's demographics

Enjoy!!!

I'm not quite sure what you mean. I'm gathering tiny locations around the country to add into the next update (I've already added around 25 more). If there are some bigger arenas I missed, let me know. If there's anything that needs changed on the ones I've done, just let me know.

TommyDreamerFan, I've added it and it will be in the next update.

Thanks for all the replies!

TNA sorry for that i was reading in the update page and adam said he will be adding a tinest location in the next update so i was wondering if you would be making the new tinest locations to the ones you have already done.

Okay, I didn't know Adam was adding a smaller location size. I'm assuming that tiniest will be under 500 capacity or something like that. I will update all the locations I have that would fit in that category, although it'll be kind of difficult. A lot of the tiny locations I have don't have a set capacity, so I'll use my best judgement. That will be in the next update.

Thanks for all the positive comments!

Version 2 will be released this weekend. It will include a bunch of new tiny/tiniest locations. I'm also going to go back through the tiny arenas and move the smaller ones to tiniest. I'm aiming for 650 locations in this update.

What folder should your real life locations.tew file be in? I can't find it to import and I can't replace the current locations because without the foriegn locales the game won't load.

MrCanada

how I did it is I created a new database named "imports" and then put the locations file in there, then using hte import feature I just imported all the stuff over.

For the updates, I live in Steubenville, Ohio. We have a place called St. John's Arena. Max, it could fit 5000 people and Raw had a house show last summer there so we've seen WWE action (not to mention WCW came in 97 or 98.) Could you add us to the next update?

I noticed that the Mid-Hudson Civic Center doesnt have a description. Its located in Poughkeepsie,NY and is an old ECW Arena.

MrCanada's idea is probably the best for version 1. In version 2, I'll add Adam's default locations for the regions I haven't created any for. That way you could just paste the location file over the old one.

BTW, I've finished sorting through the Tiny locations, moving some of them to Tiniest.

Also, I'll have some arenas added from Quebec, Ontario, and BC in Canada.

Also, Matt799, I'll add the details to that arena. The person that suggested it didn't give me any info. Thanks!

Is anyone having good results with these locations in the game? Are they accurate enough? There's been over 150 downloads between the two versions and I was just wondering how everyone thinks they work in the game.

Personally, I love having all of these in the current game I'm running.

Not likely. Europe, Mexico, and Japan probably won't be done because I never play with those game areas on. If you do a European file, we could merge them and let people download just one file if you'd like.

BTW, worldstadiums.com is a great resource to find the capacities of arenas.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments!

But...The Sir Matt Busby Sports Centre should be Sir Matt Busby Sports Complex. And it's in Bellshill, Scotland. Not Glasgow.

A good location in Glasgow would be the Braehead Arena. It has a capacity of 5,200 and WWE visited on the WMXX tour.

The SECC (Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre) is the biggest Glasgow venue and resembles an armadillo. You could get at least 10,000 in there.

I won't add football stadiums, as it's unlikely they would ever be used. Same with music venues across the city.

Bellshill is virtually in Glasgow though, certainly close enough.

I could tell you why promoting in Glasgow Centre costs you £275 more than anywhere else before you even start, but it'd only bore you all. :)

Bellshill about 20-30 minutes train ride away to Glasgow. I lived there for 13 years. :p

Pretty much everything in a 50-mile radius of Glasgow is 'Glasgow' really. The Glaswegian culture almost covers the entire country because of two certain football teams from Glasgow. (¬_¬)

Random.

Mate,

With regards to UK locations, you should go to www.bigtimewrestling.co.uk and add all the locations for there...I'd say they're all Tiny.

For Scotland, the SECC (10,000 or so), Braehead Arena (5,000) and The Royal Highland Centre (1,000) should also be in. There's a Hall in Dunfermline too, but the name escapes me...Loreburn I think...and it's 1,000 or so.

I took the fan types size to mean that there is that amount of people there willing to go to your wrestling event. Basically, the only huge markets I was making were the major US cities. I live in Richmond, VA, which is a big city, but to say that there is a huge amount of people that would go to a traditional wrestling event isn't really accurate.

I guess I just don't know if the size of the fan type has anything to do with how many people are in an area. That's why you don't see any smaller US cities with any huge amount of fan types. Does anyone know how the game actually works in this regard?
