In all of the fights I staged in different promotions, one either hits all knee strikes from the clinch, or one fails at all of them. For one full round, Shane Gilchrist, who, I think, sucks at MT, tried kneeing his opponent, but failed every time for 10 minutes. That's a lot of attempts. :)

The game could use a bit more variation in succesful MT knee attempts imo. :)

Im pretty sure you are using an old patch because that got sorted out recently. Now when somebody misses three times they release the hold and look for other routes to victory.

No I'm 100% sure I'm using the new one. Mostly they try something else, but now...

I hope I saved the match to proove it, but I didn't. Because it sucked (well duh :p).

Oh, that is strange then.

There's also a problem with people having a good chin rating but keep getting kneed in the clinch for like 30 minutes the fight would be stopped sometime before the end.

And fighters do most of the time change tactics(sometimes they decide to keep holding just to get the W :))

Again, you need to upgrade to the latest patch. It is impossible for more than four or five knees to be thrown in succession if you are using an up-to-date version of the game, let alone "30 minutes" worth.

Please check that you have it installed correctly - some of those lines of commentary are from older versions of the game, I don't think it's possible for you to have the patch correctly installed and to see them.

It's happened to me as well with the September 17th patch.

How does one ascertain whether the patch is properly installed or not? It says "Temporary patch 17th september" in parentheses when I load up the main screen.

Try the new patch, it should refresh everything and ensure the clinch works properly.
