yea would it be possible for someone to make a zip folder with the ravex data with all the pictures, all the belts, all the logos all the matches and all the locations in one easy to unzip right into the directory folder? i think it would definitly cut down on all the threads about errors and would make it easy for lazy people like me :)

Putting everything together would make the file far too big for the average internet user to download. You have to remember that not everyone is on cable modems.

What could be done is that the mod's would have all the different folders in the zip file. So when you install the mods you dont have to add different folders.

But if they're all in that one zip file, it's still gonna be big as hell.
I am planing on creating a bundle with all the important files, simply to make it easier for new people to jump right in.
I am also going to take my picture folder (currently 93 mb's) and split it into two zips that can be downloaded.
Granted it won't be 56k friendly but if your on dial up you can always download the files separately.
I should have it all done tonight as I am updating my website as we speak.

Contains pictures, logos, belts, and all essential mods!
Update: Now includes the injury mod.
Injury mod? Do you have a link to it's source so that I may credit the proper party?
Outlaw I wanted to thank you for providing quick mirrors. Moders here are having a hard time locating a reliable host.
I also wanted to tell you I enjoy the look of your forums. Are you planing to create a main site someday?

I do have a main site...www.totalsportssimulations.com/phpbb/portal.php. The injury mod can be found here....http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5989
Yeah I found it. So used to it being able to go to the main URL and see it.
Thanks for the URL.
Thanks for this, but could you host it on something other than Rapidshare. That site is horrid as it bans certain users from downloading for seemingly no reason. Cheers.

Actually I found a better solution late last night and I'll have the files uploaded to it instead shortly. Please let me know if you have trouble with the new host.

He is talking about Rapidshare. I used it because Gamespy would have a cow if I dumped a couple 30 MB files on their regular servers (I hate file planet).
I've never personally had an issue downloading from Rapidshare but I've always hated the fact that you couldn't use a download accelerator and the small hourly limit.
The new host I found last night (thanks in large part to my internet porn addiction :D ) allows accelerators and has a file limit of 100 MB and an hourly download limit of 250 MB.
I have transfered the data to the new host. I have also included an "Ultimate collection" bundle featuring all the files, images, and screens necessary for for a real world game.

You might want to think about using a program such as Win-RAR to "rar" the files up, as an alternative to zip files. The reason being is that Win-RAR compress's the files much better, leaving you with a smaller file size, which will benefit more people.

Thanks for the tip. I already have Win-RAR but I am so used to just zipping I didn't think about using it. Next time I update it I will.
