Biggest Newb Question.........

I continue to see it posted EVERYWHERE but I simply cannot find what this means.......

WTF IS C-Verse? I assume it is some type of mod but what kind of wrestlers does it have? I haven't been in the TEW loop so I have no clue what that is. I have been playing WMMA 2 lately.

I would like to take part in something that EVERYONE is playing with lol. I just feel like such a newb asking what C-Verse is. Thanks....

If you have played the default game you are a proud player of the "c-verse" it is the term givin to the default data base that is called the cornelverse.....c-verse is just much shorter :).

You have also played the C-Verse in WMMA2 because that is what the default database is called in that game as well. All though one could make an argument that the default database for the WMMA games could be called the Fezzik-Verse, as he is the top fighter in that game.

It having the likes of Raul Hughes etc. in it though makes it the C-Verse, as it's the same canon ;)

But you can't call the WMMA2 database the CornellVerse, that just doesn't make sense. It doesn't even have Tommy Cornell in the game! That's like calling something "The Bob Show" when it doesn't even have someone named Bob in it! :p

The universe is called the Cornellverse... it's the same universe, so it's the same name. No point in calling it something different for the sake of it, that's just silly. :p

Just like in spin-off TV shows, it's still set in the same 'verse'. Angel is set in the Buffyverse - just because she's not in that particular show (much) doesn't mean it suddenly becomes the Angelverse.

Adam could release a music industry game next year set in the Cornellverse, wouldn't have to have Cornell in it. :p

Its a fictional world Adam developed for the game when it transformed from EWR to TEW and started charging for it and therefore couldnt use actual wrestlers in the game for legal reasons.

It was started as a board effort, but rather quickly fell by the wayside. I submitted a few entries but I don't remember who started it in the first place. You could probably find it in a search though...
