Thought I'd just put it out there, even though I suspect I know the answer...will this game be available on for Macs? I know that none of the previous ones have been, but there's always hope.

It probably won't be "officially".
But there's some good emulators or virtual machine softwares that could make it possible. I don't know these programs that well (I very rarely use a mac), so I can't tell you which one exactly, but I'm sure there's some out there.

I am running a mac and I asked the same stuff for WMMA 2 but no dice. I tried like hell to set my mac up with a windows side just to play WMMA 2 lol but it was way to much work for me to figure out lol. So luckily for me I have a Mac and a PC so I can still play :).
But it unless TEW is different (Which I doubt) the only way you can play it to set up a windows side on your mac.

There are lots of free and pay Virtual Machine programs out there that you could use to setup Windows while already using your Mac (if it has an Intel CPU). That isn't a problem at all, those programs are very easy to install and setup. The problem comes for people who don't already own a copy of Windows, without a CD-key and the install DVD/CD's it's not possible to do.
So all in all, if you don't already own a Microsoft OS, you would need to purchase Windows XP Home (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2552182&CatId=672) ($89 brand new, cheapest possible new Windows OS) + TEW 2010 ($34.95, when it's released) + download and install VirtualBox (http://www.virtualbox.org/) for free. It ends up being quite a bit more than the $34.95 you'd pay for the game itself, but don't let people tell you it's impossible, because it's not. It just takes a bit more work (it really is simple to do) and extra money ($$$).

Wow I missed that price drop either that or none of the retailers around me have heard abut it, any version of XP is still $199 brand new.

You probably won't find it at your local brick & mortar store since MS has tried to phase XP out of common use. For example, PC manufacturers can't install XP on "normal" PCs (they're restricted to only being able to install it on "budget" PCs or netbooks) so major retailers are likely under similar restrictions. Besides, with 7 out, no retailer wants to carry THREE generations of Windows.
Online retailers aren't restricted like that. OEM versions of XP seem plentiful (Tiger Direct and Newegg both sell 'em, with no indications of scarcity).
To answer the OP's question, I'm inclined to say Windows only.

I've had no luck getting any windows emulators to work, (tested them with EWR!) but then I'm expecting to get Windows for Christmas, so between that and BootCamp I think I'll be good.

Boot camp will work. I used it for TEW 08 when I was in school.

I use boot camp as well which is perfect for those few programs that you use only on Windows, its free and just splits your harddrive so when you boot up you have the option of enterint into either OSX or Windows, havent had any problems yet either and been doin it for over 2 1/2 years

It works on Mac. I've almost got it perfected and will be releasing a tutorial on how to run it soon.
