With 5 days untill the demo come's out and our need to play this game is put to rest for a short time as we re-play the first month of every single promotion 20 times while we wait round our keyboards like feral animals waiting for the full game to come out...

What exacly are you doing to pass the time untill that point?

I keep trying to start TEW2008 games, or to finish old ones, with the ultimate feeling that any progress is going to be futile i just cant bring myself to do it.

I have also been playing WMMA2 a fair bit to pass the time as i wait for my copy of Ultimate Sith Edition to eh... magicaly turn up on my hard drive.

15th it's half over. I'm gonna check out a new fed style I want to use in 2010 and see how it goes for 3 shows. No major effort, just a quick 3 month run. Watch tv 7-11.

16th I'm an amateur photographer and I'm going to a meet and greet in Nashville. That takes up the first 2/3 of the day. I will listen to the first NFL playoff game on my drive home. Watch the 2nd game once I'm home.

17th I have an 11AM lingerie shoot that will take me thru the start of the 1st NFL playoff game and then finish watching it and the 2nd game. Some evening TV finishes the day.

18th I have a noon lingerie/implied shoot. Then I will spend the rest of the afternoon working on some photo touch-ups. Then watch some prime time tv and a bit of WWE.

19th Photo work and stuff until prime time tv starts.

20th Wake up around 9AM and try to download the demo.

Still haven't got around to finishing Assassin's Creed II. I was doing great, an hour every day (a lot for me playing a console game) then I just sorta stopped. Felt like I was coming up to end-game too.

As for the wait for the demo... I'm sure I'll survive. Work. Few wacky projects. I'll be fine.

Well I have school, and so far have been able to keep my mind off it with the fact that finals are due on Sunday (online classes on a nine week cycle ~ University of Phoenix) and I am trying to scratch together something that will let me pass (Since getting married I've been dealing with in-laws and my, ah, somewhat immature wife, so I've missed half the classes). Unfortunately, they are due on Sunday, and the first week for the classes is just the same boring startup work, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to be trying to find something. Eh, just got System Shock 2 working, so probably that.

I am pretty much doing what you guys said, I am actually trying not to think about TEW 10 until it is released. I only have one game with TEW 08 going right now and that is with CGC, I will probably play that but will probably only get though one or two more shows before the demo for TEW 2010 comes out and then I will play that until the full version comes out on the 25th. The wait is almost over and I can't wait until it is.

Which probably means even further to go until the demo is released. I'm salivating just thinking about it... lordy, no way will that month of game time be enough for those few days until the full release.

Also terrified to think of what may have happened to some of my favorite wrestlers... and EWA. I'm a huge mark for Blackjack Robbins, The Idaho Punisher, and Mammoth... can't help but feel it's very, very likely at least one of them is retired now (Mammoth seems most likely, but both of the others are possible.)

It's an MMO, most are released somewhat "unfinished"... though I do know what you mean. Klingons, for example, could really use more than PvP. I'd LOVE to play on that side for a change of pace, but getting better rewards for something I do on the Feddie side anyways isn't good enough. Still, PvP IS fun! And so is the Feddie side. Some of the episodic content are cool stories, and fun to take part in.

My biggest issue right now is that here at college my connection to the server is rather sporadic. Sometimes I could play for an hour and a half straight with no problems, other times I'm getting dropped every single time I attempt to zone... it sucks.

Aye, probably midday tomorrow (for us in the USA). Oh well, my classes tomorrow are both relatively quick and easy, unlike today... which are also easy, but are both long and tedious.

I dont think thats a problem your expirancing alone, it happens to me every time i go to Sol and try to dock or undock, also having some major latency issues when going into hostile signal contacts, the story arch missions are great but the content is limited and it seems alot of the time im doing the same mission i did an hour ago and an hour before that...

Beaming down to planets to find my ship and no away team is a bug i have learned a work around ( /FillPetTeamList ) for but that dosnt scream "finished" or even "playable" just days before this thing hits the shelf, and to top it all off i find the lack of graphical wizardry when it comes to the interfaces and the galaxy maps (even sector space seems like some basic developement version without proper graphical textures on it, atleast i hope it is...) , all things that have me feeling that while this is a good concept ... and while it is still beta after all... this close to going on the shelf, im worried.

I wont be getting the life time sub for the 2 slots + borg thats for sure.

Too early to report if this is going to be a good game... but lets just say im looking way more forward to TEW2010 than i'am STO at this point..

PS: Turning speeds are fail, maxing the turning buffs on my officers is the only thing keeping me sain.

I know I'm not alone in it, but I've also played back at my house this weekend and there is absolutely no problem with the connection there.

Once I was logged in, I could stay there indefinetly.

Oh, and I think it'll be a good game. Maybe not great, but good. There's a great foundation to it, and that's more than a enough to make an MMO enjoyable in the long run.

But no, not shelling out for a lifetime sub. That's... ridiculous.

Anywho, I'm off the get some catfish from Popeye's while we wait on TEW2010... and for the STO server to stop sucking.
