Just read this Rat and its awesome. I LOVE the match writeups with the show production. Very original and neat. You keep it up as is and this diary will be remembered. Will be reading! The Aussie C-verse has gone from worst to greatest overnight! :) You will no longer be the only Aussie diary writer in town. Thanks for the comments, everyone! The format will stay, with perhaps a tweak here and there. How is the font for everyone? Is the italicised/bolding for the road agent notes hard to read? I'd be interested to know.

Card for the next event will go up tonight (in about 5/6 hours or so), with results Tuesday or Weds hopefully, so only a short window for predictions :)

I am planning on bringing him in once I've made a few cuts. I simply don't think I could write for a gangsta rapper; but I do have a very specific plan for him which should work well for him. I have a feeling he will end up huge if handled the right way.

Seriously though, another enjoyable show and I really do like the format. Keep up the good work. Was surprised to see Swoop lose but the way you did it made perfect sense and really builds some nice animosity between him and Mackenzie, as well as making him look like the monster he should be!

DDP: You might as well leach overness from him while you can. After all, he's got solid performance stats and ok brawling even if he is getting on a bit I can still see him being useful. Maybe he could be useful in a mentor/protoge style team?

Boo: It'd be interesting to see the title win totally going to Boo's head. A couple more random run-in losses could see him believe he's being screwed? I could see him doing well with the Man on a Mission gimmick. The mission? When you're as good in the ring as he is, you let your actions do the talking. Have him be resentful that you need a perceived "look" to get by in this industry? (Maybe I should've kept that one for myself...hmmm)

The East Coast Rebels: I think they still have a future in the tag division. They're not amazing by any stretch but they're both young, not to mention that Macquarie isn't too far from being good on the stick...and Cole has the charisma that should get him there. It'd take a bit of work but if they could improve their entertainment skills then they could be very handy to have.

Oh yeah I know, I was just giving my thoughts and it turned into me thinking what I'd probably do and just putting that. I would've definitely predicted Swoop to be honest with you (love the guy), the feud over Ceri's honour is good one though (it has a component missing from a lot of current booking...emotion, any fan would be a prick to get behind Lanny after that) and I'm pleased there wasn't a deinitive match between the two this early on.

Just letting you know that I'm making my way through this. What I've read so far has been great, well done. Hopefully I'll get a chance to predict in the next couple of shows.

I can't believe how much I missed by moving over the weekend! Damn your quick output!

As for your discussion points:

The Next Big Things - The best use I've gotten out of them at this point is to pad the win/loss record of my heel tag teams. I've got a good feud going between The Melbourne Blondes and The Apocalypse, but I can't have them square off every show. So therefore I both use them to job to the Apocalypse, as well as the other heel tag teams so they look decent taking on the Blondes on the off months. Plus, APW's roster in particular seems to become quite miserable if you don't use everybody on every show, so I also job them to random heels on the roster to make sure everybody gets used.

Boo Smithson/APW Australian Title - I'm not sure why he's defending the title so much other than the fact that he's got a good feud going with Forbes' crew. However, the great thing about Boo is that you pretty much know what you're getting out of him every time you put him in a match, which for APW can be kind of a crapshoot. Boo nearly always pumps out D range matches every time he's out there, which will help the overall show ratings a bit, which is more than you can say for most of the rest of the roster.

Nathan McKenzie - One of the great things about the feud with Swoop and Big Mac is the fact that Mac starts out with much higher popularity than Swoop in the beginning. This does two things - it helps the ratings of Swoop's promos when Mac is rated on overness, and it also means that Mac can beat Swoop fairly cleanly at any point without doing any damage to Swoop (besides momentum). For storyline purposes, I had some interference with Nigel Darling ordering Big Daddy Horne to attack during the match to cost Swoop the title. This branches things off into a quick semi-feud between BDH, Darling, and Swoop while still not stopping the Mac feud entirely. So that's my take.

Well, looks like Stantz taking the win has rather screwed everyone's predictions! Very interesting - I think it would have been rather dull if Swoop had taken the win (although it would have been sensible booking, I guess). two more events until I total up the predictions and award someone with a creative choice, so stay tuned!

As for what about Belushi discussion. Well I think braking the Blondes and letting one of them turn heel and them starting to feud with each others is a good start. After that well maybe Blake could start chaising the Australian title and have a feud against Boo or Triple S depending of his aligment.
